I’m a big fan of this place. I’ve been probably 15 times and it’s been consistently good, the service and employees are always kind and welcoming, and i enjoy the quaint atmosphere and location. I’m not the most discerning when it comes to comparing thai places– it all tastes good to me. But TTT is about as good as I’ve had. Affordable, too. Highly recommended.

Good quality Thai food and not over priced for the amount of food. I had the Swimming Rama at the suggestion of the waiter as I was trying to decide between that and my tried and true standby panang curry. Friendly staff but a little slow getting our check as my friend and I were heading to a show downtown. Decent street parking and parking lot options nearby.

Wow, this was one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to! While in town, I stopped in here for lunch with a couple friends. I ordered a beef curry dish with bell peppers(I think it was #3 on the lunch menu), three star spicy, and it was absolutely delicious. The old gentleman who was our waiter was very nice and the food was on the table five minutes after ordering it. I would highly recommend this place.

I was looking forward to this place for months based on all the good reviews. Finally had the chance to try it tonight. We were very disappointed. I hope the other menu items are better than others. I ordered pad thai with beef, what a mistake. I always get it with chicken but decided to go with beef this time. The noodles had very little flavor, lacking color, and worst of all, the beef was very poor quality. I could tell it was previously cooked separately and then«thrown in» towards the end. How do I know? Because it was dry, and several pieces of meat had no sauce on it! Anybody who cooks should know the sauce should cover everything it gets cooked with! Neither one of us even bothered to eat the pad thai. The chicken panang curry was pretty good, however. That I will give credit for.

The food is great. They are true to their star rating. I got the four star and it made me sweat and I love spice. Yum!

It’s the best place to get pad see ew in Seattle that I’ve had so far. I wasn’t crazy for the pad Thai. There are some great photos of the owner meeting notable celebrities you can look at between tweets while your take-out order is packaged for you. Smells pleasantly like a fish and aquarium store. Sometimes the medium spice option is very mild, other days it will kill you. I think it depends on who’s in the back.

Here is what I got in my fried rice. The bigger guy waiter had a really bad attitude to my table that night, totally ignored his customer and if you got hair in your food, please get ready to stand up and leave cause they will clean up your table and have you leave immediately, of course they wouldn’t make you pay for the food with hair in it. lol

Good Thai food. I enjoyed the red curry chicken and the wine has a good price. This place will make your food spicy. This place’s 3 star spiciness is probably equivalent to 5 stars at other Thai joints. Good luck

I am a fan to the fact I have a go to Thai place when I’m craving it. Just up the road from my office, I always order my go to(thai noodle soup), whenever I go the staff is always kind and entertaining. Whenever we have a late night at work I offer Tup Tim Thai instead of chinese food.

My go to Thai food location. At just a short walk up the street, it is convenient and very good! Its also where I take friends and family when they come to visit. The owner and manager is also very nice, they greet me by name and ask how I am. Great for both dining in, and if you need an order to go. My go to is the Pad Thai, which is absolutely delicious although you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I do also enjoy the Sizzling Heavenly Beef. I would write more, but I am hungry and think I will go there now! :)

An interracial couple with a baby couldn’t possibly be dining together? Right? Well, we were. It was nice of the server to ask though. Since he didn’t offer a high chair, I requested it. He then proceeded to take away one menu since my son touched it. We stayed. I always tell myself, just leave but we didn’t. The food was mediocre at best. My son enjoyed eating the rice so much that he squealed with happiness. But the server kept staring like my 11 month old was causing chaos in his restaurant which had 6 customers. So anyway, there is much better Thai food in Seattle. Service is a hit or miss everywhere but I will never suggest this place or come back. Kapun kaa!

In Seattle for the holidays visiting some old favorites, and looking for new ones. Tup Tim Thai is a favorite that rarely disappoints. My go-to meal is #28(sauteed chicken and green beans in a curry peanut sauce). I’ve found similar things in other Thai restaurants, but not like this one. The curry cuts just enough of the sweetness of the peanut sauce to be that much better than other places, and they don’t mess it up with a bunch of soggy spinach. I like spinach, mind you, but it’s a distraction in this dish — the green beans are fantastic substitute. 4 stars instead of 5 because TTT can be inconsistent. Sometimes #28 is magical, other times it’s merely good. Others in my party had other stuff they said they liked(my son’s salmon in curry sauce disappeared almost as soon as it was set in front of him). Did I mention #28?

I’ve had Thai Food from all over the U.S. and this is, by far, the best I’ve had. Great flavors, amazing service, and comfortable atmosphere. Can’t wait to eat here again!

Smaller place(54 seating capacity) but a very nice atmosphere. Was here for dinner. Had soft lighting, jazz piano recording playing in the background. 2 – 6 person tables but I’m sure they could rearrange for larger groups. As I said, I was here for dinner. Menu had good selection, but I opted for the tried and true: Pad Thai w/chicken and an appetizer of spring rolls. Portion size was good for me. And at under $ 10 for the pad Thai, I felt the pricing was reasonable for dinner.(Lunch menu is less expensive) The Pad Thai was very good. Finished the plate quite nicely. Medium(or 3 stars) was not super spicy. It had a little tinge to it, but not too much, not too little. The staff was super friendly, and when you ask for chopsticks, they aren’t the typical bamboo ones. They are plastic and have nice heft to them. Unfortunately, you can’t take them with you… All in all, its a very good place, and I would not hesitate to go back.

I honestly think this is the best Thai food in all of Seattle. It’s local, the staff is WONDERFUL. A pure delight. Always fun, upbeat and willing to joke around with their guests. A very sweet place to visit. Their Pad See Ew is a staple and I hate that I’m leaving Queen Anne because I’m no longer close to Tup Tim Thai. I’ve literally recommended this place to all of my friends and brought my Aunt there, who’s from out of town. She raved about it for weeks. If you want a great experience and a chill place to eat Thai, this is it!

This restaurant’s food was no bueno in my opinion. 1) No parking provided so you have to circle around the neighborhood to find parking. 2) The menu/tables were kind of sticky. I was kind of turned off by this. 3) The food was expensive in respect to the taste/portion size. We ordered the pad see ew, pad thai, meekrab(sp), Penang curry, and fish. The fish was about $ 14 – 15(can’t remember) and there were probably about 5 – 6 medium sized pieces about the length of half a hand. The dish looked like it was a lot of food but was mostly covered with lettuce and other leafy garnish. the pad see ew and pad thai wasn’t delicious. I could have made this at home. My pad see ew tastes okay but it isn’t fantastic. I was rather disappointed by the taste. Again, the portion size was kind of small. Lastly, the curry was tiny too. There wasn’t that much chicken and more curry sauce. You also have to order a size of rice(extra) in addition to the curry dish. I wasn’t impressed. It came out to about $ 14 – 15 per person for five dishes. I thought the food both didn’t taste that good and also slightly over priced for what it was. 4) Service was great. Our waitress was very nice.

I am appalled by the past half dozen negative reviews of this place. You all have no idea what you’re talking about. I have lived 1 block from Tup Tim for the past 4 years, and this is our go-to Thai place. Red papaya? Racha? Are you serious? First off. dude. Red Papaya isn’t Thai food, it’s Vietnamese-ish. Racha is really expensive. Tup Tim is moderately priced and almost always delicious. Not only that, but to the person who complained about the waiter who tells jokes? He’s just trying to be nice. If you pay attention, he’s actually kinda funny. He’s nice. He cares if your food is good. I have occasionally had a non-perfect dish here, but 9 times out of 10, it’s better than most of the Thai places around and definitely stands out in the neighborhood. In fact, last year, they tried to shut this place down and the neighborhood PROTESTED. Yes.

Started with the chicken satay, four very generous portions of chicken and Thai ice tea. I asked about a dish that wasn’t on the menu which is like a Thai street dish. The waitress told me that would be that it was an item she pointed to very quickly on the menu so I can’t tell you what it was, but its name was in Thai with English translated. Basically it is a basil chicken served with rice and peppers and then a fried egg on top. It was very good and definitely not that expensive. Total meal with the three items and a very full belly for me was $ 27.00. Definitely a good place for Thai food.

I have zero tolerance for bad thai food. I’ve lived in 5 cities over the last 6 years, including NYC and this place falls at the very bottom. I also am usually too lazy to leave reviews, but these horrible thai restaurants need to be brought down in ratings. Please trust me when I say, the only thing that is remotely average is the pad see ew. The curry is a watery, spicy, flavorless mess. They use peas and zucchini to avoid using bell peppers to save on the cost. It is simply a poor rendition of standard thai curry. Fortunately the best thai place is Lai-Thai in Kirkland. The curry is exquisite with a perfect blend of texture, flavor and spice. Don’t waste your time, money or taste buds on any other place.

We were looking for food while traveling and Thai food just sounded good. I was very excited since this place looked like open by Thai people, so I expected to be authentic. I saw they had the papaya salad, so I was eager to try it as it is my all time fav. But actually not many places can do it right. The guy asked me how spicy I wanted it, 1 – 5. I said 2. But the dish came out super super super spicy. I could not even take one more bite after the first one. If this was 2, then what would 5 be like? In fact, my friend ordered the pad see ew, with spiciness of 5. But it turned out wasn’t that spicy at all. And when the guy asked me if I wanted more water. I said a little bit, then he dropped like a drop and stopped. This was a joke? No, it wasn’t funny at all. Then later he saw my phone on the table and it has some cracks on the screen, he said, oh, this is a real iPhone! My friend asked what? He said only really iPhone cracked. Funny? No no no, not at all. All I felt at that moment was: leave me alone. So experience wise wasn’t great. The papaya salad almost killed me and I had stomach pain that night due to the strong spiciness. Maybe you had better experience, or you like that style of joke. You probably don’t agree with me.
