First time there last night, and we ate off the happy hour menu. Fantastic meal and service was wonderful. Had our two little(picky eaters) daughters with us and they probably could of ate another pizza to themselves, they loved it so much. The wood oven pizzas we sampled were all top notch and my wife enjoyed the Sofia cocktail. I forgot our servers name but she was great to all of us. We will be back when we are in town and will tell others about our visit.

This is a pizzeria that I’d been wanting to review for a while now, but haven’t, due to lack of a good amount of perspective to be able to do so, and still keep up the overall quality in the reviews I’d like to post. I’ve only ever come here for lunch, but ever since I first started coming here back in June 2015, the menu has only gotten more appealing, both in terms of selection(which has only changed slightly) as well as in terms of value for money(and the quality associated with that). DISCLAIMERS: I am not a pizza critique, and I’ll admit I’ve only been to a few pizza joints in Seattle thus far(Zeek’s, Rocco’s, and Serious Pie, to name the better ones), however I’m a foodie, so hopefully that’s all that matters in the context of this review. In terms of price, value, and quality, this place is definitely middle of the road. Not«best of it’s class»(hence the 4⁄5), but also not the worst. This is great quality for the money, too: you can get a soup and a 9″ personal pizza for $ 12! Let’s break this down further: 1) VARIETY/SELECTION: 7.5÷10. There’s a decent selection in the«vanilla» pizza toppings they offer for the lunch specials(and therefore their dinner options); there’s ~2 menu pages dedicated to pizza toppings & different names of how to differentiate them(I’m particular to the Pietro), which I don’t care too much for, since the names are not indicative of the toppings they include in the slightest. 2) VALUEFORMONEY: 8.5÷10. I was impressed that a minestrone soup and a pizza only cost $ 12 pre-tax. For a lunch special, it was incredibly filling, which is impressive given how deceptively small the pizza and soup individually look. 3) QUALITYOFFOOD: 8⁄10. Some of the toppings had a different temperature than others(especially amongst the Italian sausage — how is it that ones closer to the crust were hotter than the ones that were almost peeling off?). The minestrone soup was *way too hot* when I received it, however because it’s never really indicated *when* a good time to drink it would be, as it cooled down, the soup didn’t have much of a flavour to it once it got closer to room temperature. 4) SERVICE: 7⁄10. My water cup(as well as those I was dining with) sometimes ran empty. While they were decently attentive at refilling them when asked, it should have been more obvious that with a party of 8, a pitcher should just be *left* at the table to allow us to more timely refill ourselves, especially considering the restaurant volume around the lunch hour. I get that they may not be able to «spare» that pitcher, but if they really need to worry about *one* pitcher, *maybe* they need more staff??? 5) PRICE: 8⁄10. I was not unhappy with the price, but at the same time, there’s cheaper, and there’s better quality food for the same price available at other places of this«caliber»(sit-down restaurant). OVERALL: 7.5÷10. Not amazing, but at the same time, not terrible. I’d recommend coming here if you wanted a great ambient environment(the patio is *beautiful* during the summer months), or if you had a slightly larger party and wanted a lunch reservation(they do those!). The quality of food, value for money, and overall service is pretty decent.

Loved this place! Minestrone and Caesar salad were delicious! The tuta Bella pizza was super good! Kid friendly, really great view of the space needle and most importantly great service. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Seattle!

I came here last week for dinner and tried the Ciro and the Pietro. I really enjoyed the flavor and the toppings. The crust was nice, but the pizza was pretty soggy at the bottom, which was a bummer.

I ordered the Salentino pizza: extra virgin olive oil, speck, mozzarella di bufala, mama lil’s pickled pepper, roasted onion, roasted mushroom, basil, pecorino. Since it was lunchtime, I selected the $ 14 lunch combo with the Caesar salad(9″ pizza with your choice of minestrone soup or side salad or Caesar salad). The thin crust was light, crunchy, and chewy but lacked flavor. The speck was shaved so thin that I could barely taste it. One bite of each slice sent all the toppings sliding off the crust forcing me to ungracefully choke them down in one bite. It was just ok. Of the 9 people in attendance, half of us left the crust scattered on our plates. Perhaps a drizzle of flavor on the crust or a dipping sauce would brighten-up the pizzas. Also, I would not recommend this location for large groups. It is extremely noisy in the restaurant and we couldn’t hear each other. I made a reservation for 11 and thought they might’ve reserved a portion of their loft for our party but to our disappointment, we were seated in the main area.

I love tutta bella!!! They have the best pizzas and salads! My favorite pizzas are the Lorenza and Pietro! Love s spicy kick!!! And they have the best Napoli salad!!! Get it every time I come here! Usually frequent the Columbia City location but came here as I was already downtown today… service great as usual!

I went here earlier in June. Some of the best pizza I’ve had state side. Outdoor seating was great too. The ice cream flavors they have are also solid; although I think they get the ice cream from somewhere else near by.

Worst customer experience ever! I walked in and waited by the entrance for the waitress to acknowledge me– 5 minutes later no acknowledgement. Another person walks in and within 2 minutes gets greeted and advised to sit by the bar. I caught the waitress’ eye and asked if I can sit somewhere too– she then stated I’ll address you in a moment and walked away. I walked out — I can see why the restaurant is empty, with customer service like that you dissuade people from eating there.

I… hate ti say I did not expect this place to be good. But WOW, the pizzas are excellent! Came in for lunch thinking… it’s Amazon land, I expect it to be cafeteria quality. But WOW, the pizzas are excellent! Yes I said it twice. Having spent quite a bit of time in Italy, I love thin crust pizzas with blisters, light sauce, and good toppings. The white pizza(without tomato sauce) Roberto was flavorful, crispy crust, and so light so chewy so smokey, so amazing. Will definitely come back for more amazing pizzas! Ask for back patio, you get an amazing view of the space needle!

Real authentic Neapolitan pizza! Tutta Bella is like the pizza we’ve had in Naples. Nice thin crust, simple tomato sauce, islands of cheese, mmm! The only difference is that here, it comes cut into slices, which IMHO what makes America great. The beet appetizer is amazing. Others at our table were surprised at how good it was. Order it with mozzarella instead of the goat cheese it’s usually made with. Unless you like stinky goat cheese, in which case ignore all my reviews because your mouth is crazy. It’s hard to go wrong at this place. Everything is delicious, the service is super friendly, the ambiance is classy, and there’s a Whole Foods downstairs where you can buy delicious desserts afterward. Two snaps up!

I come here maybe monthly for work lunches or happy hours. I love their lunch combinations and typically go for the salad/pizza pairing. The calzones are magnificent, but much too heavy for lunch. My favorite pizza, by far, is the Roberto. The pistachio pesto is to die for! Absolutely delicious. I also enjoy coming here for happy hour, although they no longer have the fabulous drink and pizza deal they once did. Lastly, I once had an issue with service from a waiter while at lunch with co-workers. We wrote the manager and were pleased with his polite and prompt response. I tend to recommend Tutta Bella as a crowd-pleaser in SLU. They also have a patio and deck — always a plus on beautiful Seattle days!

Tutta Bella is a local chain of 3 casual pizzerias. This one is a bit hard to find — it is near the Whole Foods, on the second floor of the plaza near the parking lot. Surprising at noon on a weekday the line isn’t too bad! They offer a lot of seating inside and some outside(no heaters). Surprisingly, I loved the perfectly chewy thin crust pizzas made with zero zero flour. I appreciated their combos and generous toppings and reasonable prices. They even do salad pizzas for $ 12, lunch combos(9 inch pizzas, side for $ 14), and a generous happy hour from 3−6pm and 9 onwards Mon-Fri. Pizzetta(9″): the pizzetta is the smaller size(9 vs 12 inches). 9 is the size of a plate and a pretty good size for one person. The 12 is good for 2 people to share if you also order an appetizer Palermo side salad: arugula salad with a refreshing dressing $ 5 for a side or order as a combo for lunch. Would definitely order again! Vongole lunch special: very small clams shrunken down to miniature size. May try a pasta version but this tomato based Vongole was a bit disappointing and hardly filling. Bruschetta: 6 thin slices of generously topped bruschetta — sweet tomatoes on top of chewy baguette. A good share plate. Nutella Latte: pretty good for a restaurant espresso drink! Made with whole or soy milk and a generous dose of Nutella. Definitely for those with a sweet tooth.($ 3 for single and $ 4.50 for double). I would definitely be back for lunch and happy hour especially to try the salad pizzas and tiramisu! They offer beer, wine and craft cocktail but I’ve heard their wine is disappointing.

While the happy hour at Serious Pie is well known, I feel that the one at fellow pizzeria, Tutta Bella does not get its rightful props. I visited the Westlake location of Tutta Bella. For those unfamiliar where it is located, it is right above Whole Foods and next to Seastar. Walk up the stairs or take the escalator to get to it. I was surprised to see there were several shops up there too. The restaurant is quite roomy. There is even an outdoor patio area that is great for when the weather is warm. Happy hour occurs two times a day. From 3 – 6 pm and 9pm to close, so that is quite a big window to enjoy the specials on that menu. Though I am unclear whether you can sit anywhere and take advantage of the happy hour. Some places limit happy hour to the bar which is where I decided to sit. Not an issue as there is a TV at the bar and you have a direct view of the Space Needle. The happy hour is reasonably priced with menu items ranging in price from $ 3 – 7. The best deal in my opinion are their pizzettes. It is a very generous portion for the price that is sure to fill you up. A pizzette along with a drink is bound to satisfy. Tried three items. Sauté di vongole($ 7HH), a Mediterranea pizzette($ 6HH) and L’Alba cocktail($ 6HH). Sauté di vongole is basically Manila clams in tomato sauce. The clams are sourced from Taylor Shellfish Farms. I thought this was just okay. Clams are a little on the small side and the flavor was just okay. Though I think the sauce would be great for dipping with the pizzette. The L’Alba cocktail is vodka with blood orange liqueur and cranberry juice. It was refreshing and goes down smoothly. It does seem to capture the essence of what I expect in an Italian cocktail. Though the star attraction of the happy hour is the pizza. The Mediterranea has freshly made mozzarella, marinated eggplant and roasted peppers. The mozzarella and eggplant does set themselves out from the rest of the ingredients. The mozzarella has a ricotta cheese like texture that I quite enjoyed. I have to say the pizza quality here is comparable to Serious Pie. If you are unable to make it to Serious Pie during the short happy hour window they have, Tutta Bella is a worthy alternative. I would actually prefer Tutta Bella because the ambiance is much nicer than the loft attic feel at the Westlake Serious Pie down the street. Here you will find a nice view of South Lake Union and Space Needle to enjoy with the great food.
