Been coming here for 2 and a half happy years(—-get it???). Scott is a pro and knows his craft quite well. He’s quick and accurate. He’s also a solid guy and easy to talk to. The only thing I can suggest about coming here for a cut, is to come at an odd hour. Scott is a popular barber in the area, and probably all of Seattle, so expect to find at least 2 – 3 waiting customers ahead of you. He’s also the only barber here. He has a TV which is always on, plenty of reading material and complimentary drinks(some soda and maybe some beer???) and candy for the youngins. You can also call ahead and see if he is too busy or even open. Scott tends to operate on «Hawaiian» time so he doesn’t always open on time — hence the sign on the window«Open 9ish». Come for the clean, tight cut and some bro time.

OLDSCHOOL. I have been coming to see Scott the barber for over 15 years. He recently moved to Greenlake from Ballard when his landlord sold the property. Dont’ come in asking for a number one or two, he doesn’t use clipper gaurds. This is a real barber shop complete with colorful banter but still kid friendly. This isn’t a $ 10 bargain joint so bring your cash! No credit cards. Prices are around $ 16 to $ 21 with a father/son combo and a senior discount. No reservations, first come first served. Expect to wait a couple hours on the weekend. Call ahead to get a wait estimate. If you want to support local business you can’t get closer! Be warned… the regulars are tough on the new comers but it’s all in good fun.
