Ultrafab Tech

In February of this year (2015) I wanted to try out this new neighborhood computer repair shop. I dropped off my beautiful Samsung laptop on Saturday and returned Monday morning to pick it up, and found the shop’s glass front shattered from a break-​in. The owner, Michael, was present and explained that my computer that he left in the middle of the shop (in plain view from the window front), along with 3 other laptops, were all stolen. If that wasn’t enough, he then admitted he had no insurance! If assured me he would reimburse me for my $ 2,000 laptop. I went and purchased a replacement at a much lesser amount of $ 1,000.00 and when I repeatedly asked him for reimbursement he never lived up to his word. Here it is 7 months later and still waiting for him to make this right…:(
Update, the previous owner of this now defunct establishment did the right thing and sent me a check for the cost of my replacement computer! A good ending to a bad experience.

AWESOME! Our family company was at risk of loosing all of our critical information when our server died. Not only was Michael able to extract everything, he was able to patiently walk me through how it may have happened and understand my equipment a bit better. With his help and suggestions we were able to reasonably upgrade to better systems. I have spent thousands of dollars in the past for other computer repair companies and on people who did not even take care of basic necessities. I am extremely grateful for Michael’s expertise, patience working with me and fantastic business ethics. I have no doubt that Ultrafab Tech is who we will work with from now on. My computer is actually humming a little happy tune right now thanks to Ultrafab. Great people, comprehensive help, and real one on one instruction; Michael sat with me for over an hour and answered every one of my questions, spruced everything up, and made me feel smart. The guy’s a genius. Go –you’ll be SO happy you did!

We are very pleased! Michael offered lot of choices for upgrading, cleaning up and speeding up our teenagers lap top. All at a very reasonable price. I actually got a very touching and sincere thank you from our teenager about how much better his computer is now. Michael’s explanations about RAM and Gigabits were clear and very helpful to this non-​tech savvy mom.
We’ll be bringing our other computers that aren’t quite working like they should back to Ultrafab Tech.

How wonderful to have this new business in West Seattle. Easy to reach by foot, car or bus. Professional, knowledgeable — not restricted to just computers! Very satisfied.
