Attended my first Huskies baseball game today. The stadium is nice and it’s a great place to watch a game. On a clear day(like today), you have a spectacular view of Mt. Rainier over the right-center field wall and the Cascades + Lake Washington over the left-center field wall. I was a little shocked to see it was only 317′ down the right field line! I think I’ve been to softball fields with deeper dimensions. My only hope is that it’s because of the prevailing winds. If not, I feel sorry for any right-handed pitchers that pitch at this ballpark! The website shows an artificial turf infield but that appears to be(thankfully) replaced by the real thing. At $ 6 per game and only $ 15 for a family, it’s a great deal. College baseball is a lot of fun and I look forward to attending more games, especially if the the Seattle weather gods give me more sunny 80 degree days!
