Not only does Tony hire great staff, I always walk out looking good. Especially when Mae cuts my hair. She is polite, professional easy to talk with and she is downright gorgeous. She has the kind of beauty every man wishes they could go home to. All of this makes it really easy to spend the money.

Great location, easy street parking located a half block south of Mercer. Walk-ins welcome, open until 7pm. You will get an excellent cut and they listen to what you want. Men and women welcome. No waiting and it is very, very reasonable. Monique has been cutting my hair for years and she always does a great cut, good fun too. If she is not there, Sonny cuts my hair and he does a great cut too.

I travel a lot and don’t schedule appointments for haircuts, I just get it cut wherever I am. But my neighborhood barber, Monique, is something special. She’s fun, interesting and a master with a comb and scissors. Without fail, whenever I’m lucky enough to time my haircut with being in town, someone always says«that’s a good haircut.» I don’t know what she does that is so different, but I cannot recommend anyone more than the Monique!

Good haircut! Paula was super friendly, no wait on a Sunday morning. I’m new to the area and got some great recommendations on fun things to do and see from Paula. The haircut was nothing fancy, but that’s what I wanted. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good cut, not too fussy. She used mostly clippers, but also had some good skills with the scissors. Overall a good experience.

I’ve been going to Uptown Barber for a few years because I worked in the area. It’s right next to yummy Nielsen Pastry. The barber’s are very nice.
