Everyone is really nice, even the customers. But the almond steamer tastes almost identical to a London fog. And for over 4 $ for a large, I’d rather have a London Fog.

Grabbed a quick bite and spent some time in the coffee shop studying the other day. Great coffee shop in the neighbor and loved the atmosphere

This is my absolute favorite coffee shop. The coffee and food is the best and the service is as good as it gets. The closest example that comes to mind is «Cheers» — you go there and everyone is friendly, everyone knows your name, and it feels like home away from home.

Great, little coffeeshop I’ve been going to for years and years. Friendly baristas, good pastries, neighborhood crowd. Seating can be a challenge on weekends.

Very cozy and welcoming feeling. I’m strictly a cappuccino drinker. The comments raved about the Earl gray almond steamer so we got that too. it’s a winner. I’m getting that over cappuccino next time I come back!!! The sticky bun, heated, and toasted bagels were outstanding. Easy to find and lots of seats and has parking too. Will definitely return. Update. Went back this morning and got the Earl gray almond steamer. In addition I tried the Mayan Mocha and that was the best! It was exactly as the barista described. Dark chocolate spicy flavor. It was so delicious and yes a tiny hint of spice that didn’t linger. You have to try!

Nice neighborhood feel, extremely kind and friendly staff. Smaller, quiet spaced place. Free wifi. Ordered the earl grey steamer iced – nice mild taste, smooth. Will be coming back.

Stopped in randomly during a work break. Had a turkey panini with a salad and vanilla latte. I’ve been in Seattle for seven weeks and stopped into a ridiculous amount of local coffee shops, trying to find new favorites. This latte, it was perfection. Sheer perfection. The sandwich was great. I wish I worked this job more often, but I’m definitely coming back here every time I do.

I love this coffee shop they’ve got good coffee drinks and great sandwiches and the owners great! We are fortunate in Wedgwood to have a couple really good coffee shops!

Friendly and kind staff make this a comfortable place to come in(especially as an out-of-town stranger). The coffee is good(though I haven’t sampled everything, I’ve really liked their true americano pours). The food is great, and I’ve been having a hot and passionate affair with their jalapeño cream cheese on a pizza bagel. It’s good stuff! This is my third time here and they recognized me when I came in! If I lived in the neighbourhood, this could be my jam.

First things first, this espresso was good, and really cheap. I’ve never been to a coffee shop that had espresso for such a low price, while still keeping with its quality. I like my drinks simple, so a latte is what I recommend. One time I came in and decided to try some sort of Earl grey almond steamer, and it was so flowery that I couldn’t finish, so now I can say I am just more of a coffee person. While the location couldn’t be more odd, the café brings the neighborhood together, and resembles the friendliness of the neighborhood. Would recommend if you want good espresso without breaking the bank.

Great vibes, and good coffee. When I went in it was pretty busy, and I didn’t feel like I was waiting long at all. Recommend to all passer by’rs

Located in a small strip-mall, Van Gogh was an OK morning out. Far from the most extravagant coffee-house, it’s homey-vibe was full of life — families with youngsters and an older crowd made this café a bustling hotspot. While a bit noisy for this reviewer(8 a.m. is not my favorite time to listen to the excited screeches of children, but I digress), it seems like the perfect family café. Non-pretentious in it’s presentation, coffee, or attitude, Van Gogh has all the humility of the artist himself.

I’ve been here on numerous occasions and love everything about the quaint coffeehouse in Wedgwood. It’s got a few comfy single-occupant couches and numerous tables to accommodate the plethora of guests that run thru here. Tried: the Breakfast sandwich with turkey instead of ham, the Almond Croissant, London Fogs and Earl Grey Almond Steamers(essentially a London Fog with almond syrup rather than vanilla). I’ve never left disappointed and would be surprised to hear that anyone would have a complaint about the level of service here. Sidenote: If you are lucky enough to get here while they still have Almond Croissants, make sure to have it warmed up. and eat it as fast as you can possibly swallow without gagging. So. Good. SoGood.

My first time impressions: *A very popular meeting place mid-morning on a weekday; limited, but comfortable seating. I do not think this would be a great place for a large group(6+) to meet with out taking up a majority of their seating. *Soft music in the background was a plus; people weren’t having to speak loudly to overcome the music and it was the perfect ambiance for studying. *Both baristas had a smile on their faces and were very personable. *Clean! A barista made three rounds cleaning tables, chairs, and attending to the coffee station within the hour that I was there. *The iced tea was balanced, smooth, and not bitter. One of the best brewed unsweetened iced teas I have had on the West coast to date!

If you’re in search of a cozy coffeehouse away from the hustle & bustle of Seattle, you’re in for a treat at Van Goghs. Alike the traits of good coffeehouses, this one is hidden away in a small Wedgewood strip mall. But don’t let the words ‘strip mall’ deter you. This little shop(8 – 10 tables) has quality coffee. Feel free to come order a stereotypical, complicated Seattle-ite drink or keep it simple with the traditional cup of Joe. Either way, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. I tried a Mayan latte and paired it with a fresh muffin topped with sweetened cream cheese. The Mayan latte had a distinct spice that left you wanting to take another sip – boy was that good! The muffin was fresh, moist and of the quality you assume to expect at a place like this. It was a perfect early morning breakfast. My S.O. ordered a salted Carmel latte and a pastry with nuts. The latte was tasty, and I didn’t try the pastry because of my allergy. I’d like to finish by saying that I will come back here, over and over and over. From the friendly baristas, beautiful artwork, and delish coffee, I felt right at home. Next time I will be bring a book to lounge out for the morning. Until next time!

Stopped for a coffee on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Lots of locals. Homey, subdued atmosphere. Inexpensive coffee: $ 1.40 for an 8 oz drip and $ 2.50 for a Latte. If price is your top criteria in coffee, Van Gogh delivers. Taste was ok. Service was good. Didn’t have time to try a sandwich. Covered outdoor seating available.

It is only my first time here, but I feel compelled to write a review. First of all, they have good iced tea! Second, the people working here seem really nice. Genuinely nice, you know, not that fake nice you get at some places. And finally, it is just an overall nice atmosphere! I’m adding it to my list. You should too!

I really like the ambiance of this place. It is nice to have a coffee shop in the area other than starbucks. This is a nice place to go and catch up on some work or reading. It can get pretty busy mid morning to lunch time but people are in and out so quickly it is hardly bothersome. I ordered an iced black coffee and added my own half & half from the counter. The cold brew was kept in a small refrigerator in a pitcher and imho was very weak. I returned to the counter and asked if i could possibly have a bit more added or to purchase a shot of esspresso to add and the barista was more than happy to accomodate me free of charge. The only change I would make is to offer more organic milk alternative options.
