Beautifully presented rolls and wraps and phở and other dishes. Varied selection, great prices… there’s only one small problem; and that isn’t a big one as you can tell I did not mark off any stars. It’s just that their musak selection is horrible! Otherwise, pretty good service, but the food is the main attraction. The portions are quite large, too.

My daughter told me about this place. I love Tamarind Tree, but I needed to find an alternate. From the outside, I thought, oh, another typical Phở plus rolls place. They are so boring!!! I walked in and asked to look at the menu. Well…I was blown away! I love small places that have the guts to get creative and this is the place. The menu is totally authentic, traditional, provincial Vietnamese food!!! There were so many things on the menu that I rarely see anywhere… I could not make up my mind!!! Finally, the waitress suggested a Hanoi pork dish and I also ordered deep fried spring rolls. It was way more than I should have eaten, but I could not stop. The food was excellent!!! Do not pass this place by. You will be sorry!!!

Cleanest Vietnamese Joint in Seattle. I was delightfully surprised how clean and well kept the inside of Wrap & Roll was. As you probably already know a lot of the businesses in the ID are in older run down buildings. But, wow was this place spick and span. We always want to try a new place when the opportunity is available. We have our favorite that I think is the best in the city(GL). So we decided to give Wrap & Roll a go. I had my fave, Phở and the lady had Bun. They were both good and the Phở did have more meat balls in it than any other places I have been to. The wifey enjoyed her Bun, she said it was good but not amazing. She really likes her fried spring rolls(here they give you 2 with the bun!) but again not the best ones around. We tried one of their unique fresh springs rolls and I thought the flavors were great. I think it was #5, which was dried shrimp and Chinese sausage. Overall we were pleased with our meal and they seemed to have some good lunch and dinner specials that run Monday-Friday. PS. They have their own parking lot with a decent amount of spaces. Which is a big deal for this part of town.

After reading a review in one of the Chinatown newspapers, and tearing off a 10% discount coupon, I tried this place last night with three other women. The people were very nice and helpful, the place seemed clean, but I think we might have ordered the wrong things. We ordered the two«bun» things with 1) pork skewers; and 2) pork skewer/shrimp paste thing, fried calamari, shrimp/pork fresh rolls, deep fried spring rolls and an $ 18.95 do it yourself platter. The platter came with a nice plate of herbs, lettuce, cucumbers, daikon, carrots and bean sprouts, a platter of meat/fish things that were unidentifiable to us, some noodle-y pancake things, a plate of wrappers and a bowl of hot water. Way too complicated to orchestrate on a tiny table. It was pretty cheap for 4, but not sure everyone left satisfied.

This place had exceptional service! The parking lot was also a plus but I gave this place three stars based on my first visit because the rolls that my mom and I ordered were pretty bad… I forgot the name but there was some Chinese sausage inside and random ingredients. We should’ve stuck with the original spring rolls instead but this was what the owner recommended. Their phở, on the other hand, was surprisingly good, in my opinion. They really only had one phở choice since they didn’t specialize in phở but the broth was very flavorful and my mom enjoyed it too. OH and it was also a very large bowl. I also ordered the vermicelli combination with a pork skewer and fried spring rolls. That was very yummy! The portion was huge too so we had a bunch of leftovers… we finished most of the leftovers already but the rolls are actually still in the fridge =/ They also served us tea in these teeny tiny tea cups which were so cute but not very practical because I kept having to refill it after every sip I took. Great service, beautiful interior and generous portions! I heart Vietnamese food.

Faves: pork chop rice with shredded pork, noodle soup with pork hock, parking Ambiance is a little off. There’s a big fireplace that just doesn’t seem to belong! Anyhow — food is good and price is right. Portions are just right. Although I do prefer the spring rolls at Tamarind Tree better — there’s that crunchy fried thing in it that’s so good. But they always have parking which is not always true about Tamarind. Watch out for the incline on the floor in the middle of the restaurant though — esp. if you’re wearing heels!

I gotta say i love the name. And pretty appropriate… their wraps or goi cuon’s are yummy. Food: A — So I had the veggie goi cuon as an appetizer and the buon(noodles) with egg rolls and pork skewers. The veggie wrap was one of the best I’ve had — fresh lettuce and the tofu was yummy. Egg rolls in my noodle dish were nice and crunchy. Prices were fair I think — about $ 22 for one entrée and 3 appetizers. Service: C — So they forgot to bring out our waters and I basically had to wave at them everytime we needed something, water, check, check payment, etc. Ambiance: B+ — Clean, small, and nicely decorated. Overall: B+(3.5−4 stars) — Pretty good food and everything else was average.

We randomly chose this place for a quick snack. We love fresh rolls and most places only offer 2 types — tofu or shrimp. We were happy to see 15 or so different varieties. It was a lot of fun trying the new flavors and they tasted great. The portions are fair and most rolls were around $ 5.00. We didn’t try their other dishes, but will definetly be back for more. Service was friendly and quick. Everything was very clean and pleasant. Personally, I like dirty but that’s just me :)

The service at Wrap & Roll seems to have improved over some of the earlier reviews. The times I have been there at lunch, we have been seated immediately by staff proficient in English, received tea and water immediately, and promptly asked for our order. The portions are fine. People complaining are just fueling the stereotype of American diners. The rice paper rolls taste very fresh. One order is perfect for sharing as appetizer for a party of four or for one person as a meal. The Com Suon Bi Cha(pork chop, shredded pork, egg loaf over rice) is consistently good. I hear good things about the Phở and Bun dishes from my coworkers. Worth going; a regular place on our lunch rotation.

The place was clean and the service was fair. I have to agree with some of the previous posts. The portions seemed small in comparison to some of the other Vietnamese places around the ID. Regardless, the food was good. I had the Com Suon Bi Cha, otherwise known as Grilled pork chop, shredded pork, egg loaf over steamed rice.(Price $ 7.45.) I love adding the optional fish sauce. The combination of sweet and salty, with the char flavor of the meat make this one of my favorite dishes. Indeed, the big plus for this place is the parking. Parking can be a pain in the ass to find in the ID. Especially, when all your looking for is a quick bite to eat. I’d come here again. I give this place 3 ½ stars.

good food, OK service. was there for lunch, there was nobody there. i had to ask a server(2 employees were eating their meal 2 tables away) to take my order, bring my water, and give me a check… But besides that, the food was really good. very generous portion of plates. Oh, they charge 50c for CC charge less than $ 10. so having some cash may help.

While the place is definitely nicer than you’re average restaurant serving vietnamese cuisine I can’t say that I would put it in the same class as places like Green Leaf. The food is tasty, but I can’t help feeling that portion sizes were a bit smaller than other places and while the bowl looks big you really get very little meat. So good for those looking to watch their figure, bad for big eaters looking for value. One big plus however, is PARKING… as they are one of the few places in the ID where you don’t have to drive around aimlessly looking for street parking.

The ambience is nice. Newly renovated building. Staff was not very attentive. The food was average and portions were small.(I eat Vietnamese food regularly, so I may be a bit more particular about it than the average Joe.) They skimp on their meats. We ordered the grilled pork spring roll. In the spring roll was a bit-sized piece of pork. There are several neighboring restaurants with nearly identical menu, clean, and decent service. Overall, it was below par for me. I wasn’t too impressed, and I probably wouldn’t come here again. I’d pick Lemongrass over Wrap & Roll.

I returned on Sunday. A large and obnoxious family was celebrating a birthday. The adults in the family were so loud. Chopsticks banging, toddlers running back and forth from table to front door as patrons were trying to enter and leave. I ordered the duck soup with bamboo. The soup was beautifully presented, and it was delicious! The service needs work! I was denied tea upon being seated. I did say anything until after seeing three other tables promptly served tea. When I inquired about the tea, the host looked at me like I was crazy. I also added that the air-conditioning was quite cold. He suggested that I sit by the obnoxious family – I told him that they were so loud and therefore, why would I want to sit by their table? My tea still arrived after my soup. Go for the food, not the service(1.5)

Drove by this place on my way home and was a bit curious. of course when I see something new and with an unusual name as «wrap & roll» then my curiosity kicks in. Parked my car and entered the restaurant… I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw. the interior was really clean and modern. I didn’t feel like sitting down to eat by myself so I ordered my food to go. I ordered the bun cha gio with thit nuong as well as a che thai… omg i was in food heaven! The che thai was sooo delicious as the bun. The prices were really reasonable $ 7 for my dish and $ 3 for the dessert. Never thought I’d say this but this place gives Green leaf a run for their money. the food was pretty comprable and I can see it being a huge hit. Took the food home and ate it while I watched America’s best dance crew. now I’m trying to get over my food coma.

We couldn’t get into Green Leaf — crazy long line! So we drove around and thought ‘oh why not!?’ :D Dinner here was very good! I won’t talk about the regular Vietnamese dishes we had since they’re as good as anywhere else tho’ the bun mi is not as humongous as everywhere else… but it didn’t seem to bother the husband… tonight. Since it’s a Wrap & Roll kind of place, we figured we would try beef wrapped in la lot leaf kind of wrap. Excellent choice! Everything that’s supposed to go in your wrap comes in one plate and the wraps come dry with a bowl of warm water where you have to dip and rehydrate to soften it so you can fold it up with the goodies inside. Don’t try and be clever/greedy and put two pieces of beef in it ‘coz the bloody thing will tear. Maybe use two sheets of wrapper, I don’t know… but one piece of beef at a time together with the vermicelli, bean sprouts, lettuce, basil cilantro, cucumber, carrots is plenty. I especially like their ‘special sauce’ which I believe is an anchovy dip but it has a hint of… maybe pineapple? My husband was not so hot on the ‘special’ sauce but he was happy with the fish sauce dip. There is practically a page of wraps/rolls you can pick from — thus the name… Oh, the egg cake that came with my rice and pork chop was more delicious then the other ones I’ve had in other Vietnamese restaurants. One large appetizer(large for two), two entrees(a vermicelli & pork dish and a rice & pork chop dish) and a three color dessert for $ 28. That’s pretty cheap, isn’t it? Well it is what it is… Service was prompt and friendly and it was practically full when we walked in at almost 8pm. What’s not to like about this place?! We will certainly return!

Went here with a crew from work. Super delicious spring roll type wrap. My lunch was $ 4. Everyone liked their various dishes. I wish they had a larger selection of wraps, since that is their namesake. And I think a roll IS A wrap… You do the appetizer math on the name.

I know they just opened and they are in the Little Saigon part of the International District but it really would help if they had people working who were proficient in the English language. I went in with GBF#2 he wanted to check it out and I said sure, well him being a vegetarian had little to no options and when asked if they could make a dish with tofu instead of meat everyone was confused and had no clue what we were asking for. To make matters worse the one vegetarian dish they had they were out of but yet they still had tofu. I had the salad rolls I asked for no cucumbers or pork in mine, they had pork in them but no cucumbers so I guess one out of two requests was pretty good. I also had the grilled pork bun it was large and the first bite of the pork was tasty but after that it was all fatty and I dry heaved a little in my mouth from it. I wasn’t impressed with their food or service not a place I’d go back to when there is Green Leaf and Tamarind Tree to go to.
