I don’t know why people give this place a 2 or 3… Is it because it says closed when it’s open? Now I hope this is the Lotus Express at the food court at the top of Westlake Center. This place has good food especially shrimp. People are too damn serious about misplaced info on this restaurants information. suck it up and get over it. I personally think that the food here is good except for the rice, a little too moist. Satisfying and let’s be real, if u were hungry, this place would be great for those who love Asian cuisine and foods. For those rating this over something stupid, like misinformation, «it says closed but it’s not» please stop it and get over it. Thank you. –http://Wilytvofficial.com

I get that it is food court Chinese food. I get that food court food isn’t exactly top of the like gourmet cooking, but come on. This was probably the nastiest food I have ever had. The chicken was rock hard. Don’t waste your money here.

The prices are good, the food is average and the service is rude.

First thing’s first: this place isn’t closed. Second: it is what it is. It’s Chinese food court food. Got the Orange Chicken combo and the chicken had nice flavor and had a good crispiness. They didn’t use the best cuts of meat and some pieces were batter heavy, but it helped me get my fix of pseudo Chinese food. The chow mein was decent and the fried rice was a little bland, but price was good($ 7 for a loaded plate) so I’m not complaining. Also, after eating the chicken, it felt a little gross and heavy in my system, but I suppose that’s what I get for ordering orange chicken. Had to reduce my review from 3 to 2 stars because of how lousy I feel right now.

Panda Express is 5-Star compared to this place. It is pretty terrible. I will not be coming back for seconds. I think 90 percent of my Orange Chicken is skins and stuff breaded and deep fried. The lady offered me a sample piece, she must have picked out the best one because the sample wasn’t bad. My fault though, should have read their reviews and stayed away. Now I know.

This place is still open. I don’t know who’s been saying that this place had closed. Talked to the manager and he’s not too happy about hearing this specially coming from a very reliable app like Unilocal.Love this place! Their orange chicken is amazing. I’m not trying to make a trip to Portland just to eat at lotus express so it’s nice to see they’re still open.

This place isn’t closed! I eat here once in a while and what do you expect from food court food? It’s not the best but it isn’t terrible either. I have no complaints with this place because my expections aren’t high.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! My friends and I were walking around Seattle and decided this sounded good. Bad idea! The food was gross. The chow mein was cold, and the green tea had way too much syrup in it. The service was bad. The lady didn’t even pay attention to anything we said. More to her coworker. Then the food hits you later and you feel like crap the rest of the day. NOT worth what you pay. Basically, bad service, cold food, bad taste, might feel it later) like it was prepared wrong.

Don’t waste your money As I was walking I got a sample of General Tsaos Chicken and gave in to getting a combo. Big mistake, the stuff is not authentic or good at all, and totally fried and unhealthy too. I am avoiding this food court from now on, I like the bacon cheese fries from Charleys but if I ever come here for lunch I am going to chipotle or Beechers, much better.

Yeah the chow mein was pretty gross and the service was abrupt. Weird noodles to use for chow mein. I guess you can’t expect much out of food court chinese food, but I feel like I can at least expect panda express level cuisine and they didn’t even deliver that.

I am sorry another food court Chinese eatery. I like Chinese food but this was not any where the like zone for me . of course the price in the market for not wanting to spend to much and you do get a large portion of rice and then the noodle but what you generally want is the meat . this being over cook chicken on what I wanted . not impressed . this being a food court there is other food to choose from that my or may not suit your taste

This place is terrible. I’ve given up on eating it any more. I’ve tried it quite a few times when I had a hankering for mall Chinese, and its one of the worst I’ve had. I’ve even been sick to my stomach several times after eating there. Come on Westlake, you can find a better option than this surely. Oh how I wish they would gut this place and give us a Panda Express!

This is bad even for food court Chinese. The primary flavors they deal in are grease and salt, their veggies are limp and meat is alternatively mushy and stringy, and I think I got a mild touch of food poisoning from my visit. Especially considering there are enough decent alternatives in the same food court(Thai Go is uninspiring but consistently OK and the Mediterranean place is usually good) that I won’t be going back. If there is an upside, I suppose it’s that it’s conveniently located downtown and cheap.

Two meat with chowmein, $ 7 deal. Orange chicken and General Tso’s. I got a hankering for americanized«chinese» food, don’t sue me for betrayal my own race. I don’t care anymore with the pure chinese cuisine, I’m not a hardcore blue blooded fanatic. The food failed to impress me, crusty outer layers, the meat tastes like chicken butt(some area that no one wants anymore) that was all stringy and hard to chew. Eating shouldn’t be such a chore. The orange glaze was too sweet that it shouldn’t be paired with meat. The general Tso’s spice was not the spicy I want, it’s the one that stabs you right in the throat. I don’t want to die this way, give me my dignity. Chowmein was a greasy muddle of noodles, I feel like I was consuming all the oil spill at the Gulf of Mexico. Thank me later. I love Panda’s Express more than this. You wannabe LOTUS, you’re only a flower, a panda can exterminate you in one bite.

Lunch($ 5 – 10)(single visit) Food: 3 Service: 3 Décor: 2 Other: 3 First of all, keep in mind that this is food court Chinese food. Keeping that in mind, one can appreciate that the food is not awful. There’s not a whole lot to say about the place, except that it is a fast bargain in the Westlake Center food court. Oh, I do like how they set their prices such that, after tax, everything comes out to nice round numbers like $ 5.75(one quarter back, rather than something like 23 cents). I feel like that’s both efficient and thoughtful.
