I had a pie delivered for a birthday (bourbon peach) and I was told by my friend it was the best pie she has had in a long time. I ordered 2 strawberry rhubarb pies for Thanksgiving and my family raved about them the whole holiday weekend! They were tangy enough for my family’s liking (they often complain of other pies being too heavy on the strawberry and too light on the rhubarb) and the crust was a perfect combination of flaky and chewy. Working with Courtney was a delight. From our first email, she was very responsive and friendly. She explained that, since rhubarb isn’t in season, she’d be using some that she’d frozen. Though I had assumed that in advance, I was glad for her transparency. Picking them up was a breeze, Courtney was friendly (just like in her emails!) and the packaging she uses is very cute. Thanks for everything!

So, I was looking to get some fresh baked pies for Thanksgiving. Searching the seattle area, I found plenty but they all had the weird flavors like: pumpkin pie. with curry, or apple pie with … ginger and sriracha. ummm, no. I needed traditional pies. LuckilyI found Yippie Pie Yay. Yummy apple pie and scrumptious pumpkin with a non-​traditional but oh so yummy crumb crust. Courtney is the bomb and had my pies ready and packed and I was on my way. I will definitely return for more in the future.

I tasted my first Buttermilk Pie yesterday from Yippie Pie Yay and I was speechless. It was absolutely amazing and literally made my toes curl with delight. It was the perfect mix of sweet and tart as it hit my taste buds leaving me wanting more. I’ve never been a fan of buttermilk and have generally preferred cake over pie but one bite has made me rethink those issues. I can’t wait to try more of their wares. Best of luck with your venture. You are doing it well. ~A guy who never knew how good pie could taste.

Oh Dear Yippiepieyay, why is it that you are so far away? I had the opportunity to try a few of your «hand pies» and loved them. Everything about the taste, the freshness and even packaging has left me wanting more! I wish that you were in every state. I am now stuck in a state that is far away from you.
I can’t wait to get back to Seattle for more Yippiepieyay and its yippiepieyumminess!!!
If you are reading this review and are looking for pies that can be delivered to you and will taste as good and as fresh as when they had come from the oven, try Yippiepieyay! They are great for parties or to deliver to businesses (for those of you in sales).
