Don’t go here with your toddler. The old lady will give you a hard time when they want to touch any of the books that are displayed at toddler level. I have been spending money here to buy nice hand made toys for a while, but I will be supporting the makers of the toys directly by buying from Etsy instead of supporting this business who makes their money by selling other people’s crafts and charging way too much! If you like grumpy service, and you like to pay lots of money for toys you can get custom made for a lot less on etsy, directly from the maker, then this is the store for you!

This is an amazing store; apothecary soaps; all kinds of crystals, rocks, arrow heads, amethysts, etc,; great children’s books; handcrafted stained wood figurines of ALL types; natural yarns; and a whole lot more. A must stop in if you are in the area. Some things are expensive and other are totally reasonable.

The«Soap Cauldron» inside of this toy store is really lovely. I am enjoying the Gravenstein Apple and Clove bar soap right now. It smells amazing, feels gentle yet still clarifying. I even use it on my face and the ingredients are all natural, which I love. Looking forward to trying some of the other soaps.

Great little shop. They had a Sugar Skull decorating activity for the Dia de Los Muertos. Very fun activity. A lot of parents and their children present, but I brought my husband and we decorated the sugar skulls as a date activity:)

Books and toys for children of all ages! They have a lot of quality toys, wooden or otherwise, that are imported from France, Germany and other places. Their toys are the kind that could possibly last a lifetime or passed on to the next generation. So while these toys may be more expensive that you would buy at Target or Toys R Us, they are non toxic, hand made and just really beautiful. We went in here to look for a gift for my niece who is turning one soon. We found a couple of things that I think she would appreciate for a while. We got a hardback Madeline book, and a music box with a ballerina that plays music from Swan Lake. I can’t wait to read the book to her! They have a wonderful display right now of everything Easter! Paintable Easter eggs, wooden and plush bunnies and various books about Easter from different cultures are on display for your buying pleasure. When we’re in town again, I’d love to come back to this place and shop for my nieces and nephew!
