Imports stores are fun. Global Village is in the same vein as Sonoma’s Global Heart and St. Helena’s Rabbit Rabbit. This one has a kaleidoscope of colorful clothing, and tons of trinkets. The place is fragrant of incense. Sometimes they’ve had the yab-yum figure of a Buddha and his consort. Go around the world in a little shop!

I have great memories of coming to Global Village during my adolescent years with my mom to buy nag champa incense. Now that I’m an adult with a family of my own I still enjoy coming here for natural clothing, gifts, and natural bath products. I recently picked up some pink Himalayan bath salts, which are truly fabulous. Prices are still great and it feels good to patronize a local business.

I went here one day just on my own. I felt really out of place because im not use to being by myself the shop owner was very nice and made me feel at home which is rare for me it was the best. I had seen a skirt in the window a week pervious luckily it was still there. the skirt is just amazing everyone loves it and come up to me to complement it. makes me feel special. unique finds from some amazing places my skirt was second hand sarees sewn together into a wrap skirt by ex prostitutes. just beautiful stories beautiful shop ran by a woman with a beautiful soul.

I fell in love with a ruffled white dress hanging in the front window and I had to go in and take a peek. After perusing for a minute I knew I’d love this place! the owner was pleasant and cheerful and asked me how old my daughter. She noticed that her curiosity was peaking and compared that to her own grandchild. Made me feel at ease as I was walking through. The shop has loads of organic cotton clothing, ruffled skirts, natural stone jewelry, hemp finds, and felted wonders of all sorts. Scarves and accessories to the back. Noticed the items were a bit pricey except for the knitted goods, considerably. Nice selection of purses and bags along the walls. Loved that there were rainmakers to the right as you walk in. Very Sebastopol-esque.
