Streat Fare

Jeff and Linda are 2 of the best people and they make some delicious food. My husband and I discovered Streat Fare when we were in middle of finding a BBQ caterer for our June wedding and stopped to grab a bite to eat in between venue tours. At first bite, we knew we found our BBQ and hoped they served weddings. Luckily for us they were open to it and they helped made our planning easy with their welcoming, helpful and friendly personalities. Its been 4 months since our wedding and our guests are still raving that it was the best BBQ they have ever had (and we’re a group of serious BBQ eaters).

The pulled chicken sandwich with apple slaw was amazing. My friend got pulled pork and loved it. Awesome sides include the standard fare as well as delicious healthy options (we got cucumber tomato salad and watermelon feta salad). Loved it.

My wife was in the store so I walked over to check it out. They weren’t open yet but the guy helping me (owner maybe?) was kind enough to make me a pulled pork sandwich. It was awesome! Had vinegar slaw and buttered bun, not much or any sauce. Refreshingly different from a lot of the pulled pork I’ve had which is just drowning in sauce.

Amazing BBQ! The ribs were done to perfection, the potato salad and coleslaw were equally amazing! Moist chicken done to perfection! We only have a few more weeks left!!!

Even though I’m a regular at Andys Market, I didn’t pay much attention to what I thought was a BB joint since I don’t eat meat.
My husband and I stopped at Streat Fare on the way home from the beach last weekend and I was really impressed with the food, service and prices.
I had 3 veggie sides for $ 8 — apple cabbage slaw/​mac n’ cheese/​sauteed kale and peas. All delicious with such friendly service. Since we were there at closing, they sent us off with a complimentary watermelon feta balsamic onion salad. Also yummy.
The only bummer is that they plan to close for the season Nov 1^st, but I’ll be looking forward to their return next spring.
I still have 6 more weeks of good eatin’, nice people and great prices.

Great food in a pretty location. Was on a bike ride with my wife recently and stopped here for our lunch — so glad we did! I have tasted BBQ in many states so I have my favorites, and Streat Fare does not disappoint… the service was quick and friendly, nice selection on their menu and we enjoyed all we had. We had the Pulled Pork sandwich with Apple Slaw with a side of the Beans. Great flavors throughout. And as long as the weather is pleasant (which it often is here) you have a great outdoor dining area in the Apple Orchards of Sebastopol.

There are several things that are important in this world: certainly world peace, love, helping the less fortunate, courtesy to others, compassion, faith, and good brisket. I can’t rate Streat Fare on the first items on the list, but their brisket is sure very good, maybe the best I’ve tasted in the area. It has that good apple wood overtone, good smoky flavor, tenderness and that holy grail of juiciness! I’ve had both their brisket plate and sandwich and I continue to rave about both. Both the potato salad and cole slaw are good, with the potato salad eligible to called very good. But the Brisket; the brisket is about as good as it gets. And the portions are nice sized too.
Staff is friendly and the pit-​master knows his stuff. The Décor is the basic «sit outside on the picnic table» style which is just fine.
Now for the bad news: They told me they are going to stay open until November and then close for the winter. That means we won’t be able to get home grown tomatoes, zucchini, or this really great brisket. That will be sad.

I’ve heard good things abut this place, so I figured I would give it a shot. I have to say I was not let down. I settled in the pulled pork sandwich (I usually get ribs, but for some reason this caught my eye) and beans for the side. it was AMAZING. the portion size was perfect, and the flavors were spot on. The beans might have been some of the best BBQ beans I’ve had around here, and the BBQ sauce was spot on as well. All and all, I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes BBQ and is looking for a good place with a friendly staff.

I echo what other reviewers have said — friendly service and great food. I especially loved the brisket sandwich, homemade potato salad and the lemon cucumber tomato salad. The pork I got had a strong sweetness to it that wasn’t my favorite, but maybe I got a sweet batch. I will take others suggestions and ask for spicy, but they had some good hot sauce out on the shaded tables. I love Streat Fare and I will be getting lunch here regularly!

There are no words to describe what just happened in my mouth. 5 out of 5 stars. I’m coming back & will bring friends.

Had the most amazing meal last night. Stopped by after work spoke with Jeff for some take out suggestions
. The pulled pork sandwiches with apple coleslaw is the best, plus very tasty baked beans and the watermelon salad is to die for. This is excellent BBQ and great vegetarian options too. Do not miss this place easy to find in the Andy’s parking lot. You won’t be sorry. Thanks Jeff for another fine meal.

Ate lunch for the first time there today! Amazing food, great service! I will be going back without a doubt!

I had an order of baby back ribs for lunch today.
They were the best!
I asked for a little extra spice in the sauce and got it.
The place was super friendly, the sides looked interesting.
It was amazingly good. No commercial porky essence, good ‘bark’, juicy, tender
but not fatty.
I look forward to going back.
