Holy crap this place is expensive! I know that juice of this quality is expensive to make and you get what you pay for blah, blah, blah — but don’t expect change for a $ 20 if you buy a drink for you and your woman…

This is my absolute favorite place for a smoothie — which is so complete it becomes my lunch. I’ve gotten in a rut with the Mo Jo because I crave it. I also had a mushroom latte, I don’t remember the name but it too was epic. I went in when I was coming down with a cold, had that latte and some shot of pepper or something that they recommended and poof, I did not get the full on illness that was going around. Bless them! I also bought their water kefir grains and am using them in coconut water at home. They are great. I tried kefir grains at Whole Foods and they had milk in them! I wanted vegan so that did not work. Self perpetuating water kefir grains are actually not easy to find so thank you Nectary for sourcing them, and in my home town. I actually carry their frequent smoothie card and I don’t carry many repeat purchased cards. I’m thrilled they are in the Barlow and the Nectary is the main reason I go there most times. Yes the«juice» is expensive, but real food carefully produced is. A $ 10 smoothie beats 3 Starbucks any day and is as filling as a sandwich and drink in my tummy, and so much better since I’m gluten free.

Soooo fresh and tasty! G-Love’s Special Sauce is my favorite so far. Minus one star for being $ 9 though… This will have to be a rare splurge!

This is a really beautiful juice shop. If you’re looking for a unique selection of juices, superfoods, and raw treats, this is the place. A tad pricey but this is to be expected with high quality and delicious cold-pressed juice. Definitely worth treating yourself too!

So it’s a new year and you want to do the juice thing– either for weight loss or for«cleansing» but if this is the case, the Nectary is a great place to get started. It’s not cheap– I ain’t gonna lie. With bottle deposit, a lot of juices are going to run you in the $ 7-$ 9 range. But, it is all organic, wonderful ingredients and worth every penny. A few months back I was starting to get a nasty cold that was going around the office. I went and got a juice of carrot, beet, ginger and turmeric and I kid you not when I say that cold was knocked out by the next day. I started to get another cold recently and tried again with not AS great of results but I did feel better after drinking the juice. My son loves their kombucha and I’ve loved every juice I’ve gotten there. At any given moment there’s usually one or two of their returnable/reusable bottles rolling around in the back of my car. Good stuff.

Am I the only one that felt that the juice was overpriced? I guess I’m not that used to cold-pressed juicing or whatever, but I got a bottle of Kalalau Green and it came to $ 10… Tastewise, it seemed pretty good to me, but«healthy-tasting» and vegetal, so I can see some people disliking it. The fruitier options might be better for some. The space was nice and clean, but I can’t see myself being able to afford enjoying this very frequently at all. I browsed the raw foods for a bit, but they were expensive as well. As a chia fan myself, I know a pound bag of chia seeds is not that expensive at all. You splash chia with some almond milk and add what you want to it, and it becomes, magical chia pudding. But it should not cost as much as it does here… Not sure if I will check it out and try again…

I’m so happy a friend suggested this place! Their all organic cold pressed juices, smoothies, warm tonics and raw desserts are so delicious. After eating and drinking here you feel energized. Thank you to all at The Nectary for making a visit there pleasant and inviting.

Wow, I can’t believe I’m only now discovering Sebastopol and the Barlow. A+ for creative menu, killer atmosphere, friendly staff. The juice is good too, I had a Napali.

Wish the juice was made as you wait(I’m not a cold pressed fan). But they have delicious smoothies & other lovely goodies. SO happy this place opened!

I’m addicted to their Mojo Rising smoothie and love their raw desserts and ayurvedic influence-this is the only place I will buy a smoothie as they are so easy to make at home-but their combinations of ingredients are divine. Everyone who works here is also very pleasant to interact with.

I feel like me and Michelangelo S. might get a long really well because I am also equally in love with this awesome little spot that simply serves cold-pressed, unprocessed juice but in a fancy, you can come here for a meal kind of way. We stopped by after Sub-Zero because I was really curious. They had a full menu describing every kind of like 24691479124 juices they had, blends, as well as offer shots. I will admit, these are pricey. You can get a 1 oz or 2 oz shot of pure juice or blend of juices & ingredients for anywhere between $ 2 – 5. The $ 5 golden shot was totally worth it, however, since everyone LOVED it. I am not entirely sold on the whole juice craze, but I will say this is a nice departure from the usual food varieties available at this kind of a marketplace. It’s worth stopping by if you’re a juice fanatic!

this place was suggested to me, when I confirmed to them, I have this wallet draining obession with Whole Foods in-house fresh juices. I was about to damn this person to hell for exposing me to what appears to be another wallet crunching level of fresh pressed juices. I have been 3 times and so far the results have been mixed. Ok, to be fair, I am easily confused. What I do believe i know about fruits and juice which has gone old, is there is a certain sourness or tart when it goes bad, I had got that taste on the first time I went here a picked up a couple of bottles of some elixir with a very fancy name. …the second time, I came here, got another kind, but same thing, but realized it had cayenne pepper in it, which could explain… OK, third time, which was this past Saturday May 30th. Picked up 2 more of the pre-made teas, and after finishing one, saw on the bottom of the bottle, «best by May 22». Ok, not cool — seeing as the entire purpose of a place like this, is to buy the freshest possible, just made type of juice.

The Nectary manages to contain a lot in its tiny space. The Barlow specializes in the open kitchen concept&at the Nectary, you can watch them blend&bottle their juices. I’d be overjoyed if did a reality show about them. They fit the motto«Small is beautiful.» Above their kitchen is a beautiful, Nature-themed mandala about bees. Since it was overcast&cool in Sebastopol, I went for the Ixchel. It’s a heady blend of carob, cacao, cinnamon, vanilla, palm sugar, cashew milk, mesquite, fleur de sel, coconut butter and reishi. It’s a hot tonic, not just with the temperature. It was worth the wait. Their Rose of Saffron, 707, Lavender Vanilla, Mojo Rising and their offerings look worth exploring. The Nectary embodies the best of Sebastopol– local, delicious, quirky and exotic!

Smoothies & Juices That Are Fantastic! SITREP I absolutely love stopping by The Nectary when cruising through Sebastopol. When working in the North Bay area from San Rafael to Rohnert Park, it’s the best place to stop to get the juices I need. THESETUP Their stock is extensive, ranging from«Cold Pressed Organic Juices», even including«Probiotic Drinks»: And Gaia and the rest of the ladies are absolute loves, sharing their knowledge — and their samples — quite liberally to get you to better understand both«the value» MYJUICEACCESS When I was first introduced to The Nectary, I found in them a great kindred spirit akin to my own juice bar — Sun & Soil Juice Company — here in Sacramento. Sun & Soil has excellent options that I like to grab, and even keep in my fridge for a couple days before consuming them. At The Nectary, I’ve become quite partial for the Blueberry-version(because they also do Strawberry) of «The Funky Monkey»($ 9 for 16 ounces) with Banana, Dates, and Raw Almond Butter & Milk. ROHNERTPARK — SANTAROSA — SEBASTOPOL It’s a challenge to take your favorite juices«on-the-road»(especially if left inadvertently Unrefrigerated) because GOOD juice is highly perishable and intended to be consumed as soon as possible. But with work trips up to our Rohnert Park Satellite-Regional Office, it’s a definite plus to get fresh juice from a great vendor! THELOWDOWN The Nectary is a great stop for fresh-pressed juice & smoothies in the North Bay area!

I am coming back with a bunch of girlfriends. This is a great place to sit outside and have a beverage that is healthy for you. I expect to see their beverages in stores near you in the near future. Hopefully, they will still be in glass. Pay $ 1 and bring the bottle back for a refund or a refill. My favs were the G-Love’s Special Sauce and the Lavender-Vanilla Pro biotic Lemonade. I love Gia’s philosophy and all the«shots» we tasted were fabulous.

Had my first taste of some of the finest juice concoctions ever! These are not Jamba Juice smoothies. These juices are loving blended and offered by a local woman who really studies and knows her ingredients. I intend on making future trips over from Santa Rosa just to try everything on the menu. You can sip at the juice bar or you can buy glass bottles(with a $ 1.00 deposit) and take home.

A hole in the wall shop in the ever evolving Barlow center. Owner operated, who has the vision and practice of serving the finest healthy ingredients. I tried 6 liquid concoctions. And they were the most delicious sips I’ve had in years. If you think Jamba juice is healthy, it really is corn syrup laden coca-cola compared to the goodness here. Sit down at the bar and sample or grab from the display cooler & go. 8 oz bottle prices are $ 6 — $ 9.
