This Quality Inn it’s working on its look and rooms. Thank God I spend the extra 10 $ to upgrade to remodeled room 131. The room has all the upgrades including new mattress :) and free Wifi. As for the breakfast, that definitely needs improvements, broken toaster, only a few options available and food was cold.

My dog and I stayed for a week while I looked for more permanent housing. Front desk lady totally understood having a dog and put us in a new room near where I could potty the dog but away from the hustle and bustle of people coming and going. My only complaint about the room was having to run the water for about 5 – 10 minutes before it got warm enough for a shower. I assume this was because I was at the end of a pretty much empty building. Wi-fi was terrible on my phone, but usable on my laptop — good for checking email and general website surfing, not for watching videos. The breakfast wasn’t too bad, pretty standard fare for continental; though if you want eggs go early, I had one late day where they were hard as a brick. The worst part of the stay was the gas cap on the U-haul truck I rented being stolen the night before I was going to return it. I recommend parking near the lobby and walking to your room because of this. I was able to send off two faxes and do a little printing from their ‘business center’ in the front lobby. They are in the process of remodeling the building, so during the day there was some noise from construction workers but they were all very courteous and nice.

For around $ 50 maybe the room would be acceptable, but its race week and price gouging is in full effect. $ 200/night, what a joke. A/C unit does not turn off and appears to be leaking, about 1⁄3 of the rooms carpet is damp and the whole room smells like mildew(or wet dirty carpet). Wifi is basically non-existent. I managed to connect to it once, managed to load one page before it disconnected again. Bugs flying around the room(I was told they had the door wide open trying to dry the carpet out before guest arrival). The bed is extremely uncomfortable(you can feel the springs) and the pillows are cheap, thin and lumpy. Shower water temp Is very inconsistent. Went to grab some toilet paper and the entire holder came out of the wall. Half the vending machines don’t work and the other half don’t give you change! Hotel does not stand behind them.

One star and that’s only because the toilet flushed. Yes they have remodeled a few rooms but not this one. Furniture looks to be about 30 to 40 yrs old. The tv was about 20 yrs old. The tv was so bad that we called the front desk to get it looked at or possibly change rooms. The front desk dude lyed and said they were booked but he would have the repair man to come look at it. Within 10 minutes the non English speaking repair man showed up. We could not understand him and think he said«tv no all day». I looked online they had more rooms available it was just that they over charged us for this room and the rooms offered on line were half what we paid. Moving on to other entertainment. There is a restaurant/bar attached to this cesspool of a hotel. We did not visit the restaurant/bar. As with most bar/hotels hookers are always present and all you need to do is visit the parking lot, I believe we spotted 2 tonight. The shower was an excersie in jumping. The shower would go from a comfortable temperature to freezing cold back to comfortable then to scalding hot then back to a comfortable temperature. Trying to locate an ice machine was horrible. The only one working was the one by the office but sadly none of the employees seemed to know it was there, when asked they would send me to the same non operating ice machine. For one night I guess it will not kill you but for the money we paid we definitely feel we were robbed and will not be staying here in the future.

Quality, my ass. This dump is a quality POS but not much else. It used to be a Holiday Inn and I couldn’t tell if its makeover as a Quality Inn was an upgrade or a downgrade. The bathroom was covered in rust and even though we were in a non-smoking room, it reeked like smoke and some other funky scent I couldn’t identify. The fabric covering on the chairs was stained, which never fails to remind me that a large percentage of the homemade porn videos I’ve seen on the internet are filmed in cheap motel rooms. About the only thing going for this place is the price(it’s cheap as dirt), the location(it was close to where we needed to be), they offer a discount if you reserve a block of rooms(great for last-minute family functions), and if you happen to forget your cell phone charger in the room after check out, the staff is more than willing to pleasantly track it down for you(the only reason they earned an extra star here). Oh yeah, and if, by chance, any cousins who find themselves aged between 21 – 40 decide to unwind from an emotionally charged day with Coors Light and wine, the parking lot of a dump like the Quality Inn is the ideal place to let your white trash light shine.

wow were we disgusted! let me tell you… if you want to stay at a sh*t hole, then this is your place of choice. VERY deceiving by the outside indeed, and the town itself is like the twilight zone… ewwwwwwwwww…never again
