Australian themed steakhouse. This location is in the Harmon Meadow Shopping Plaza. Decent amount of booths and tables and it was busy on a Tuesday night. Our group of four waited 10 minutes. Our waitress was super pleasant and polite. I went with the Sirlion and Bleu Cheese Pecan Salad as an add one side for a buck more. The steak was overlooked but otherwise good. I asked for medium and it was more medium well. Otherwise I would have given them five stars

I stayed at the Courtyard and I was about to buy some water and snacks when check in guy said Outback was next door… Well I dropped my bags and went to eat. The staff were friendly. My food was out of this world. Of course I was really hungry, though. So they do deserve five stars for my visit. Thanks.

Adam the manager for the lunch rush on February 12th2016(Friday) deserves a medal and a raise for dealing with customers like me. You know the ones in a hurry … Anxious and rude. I work for a bank and I KNOW how important these reviews are. I was stuck with only a 30 min break compared to my usual hour. Stuff happens at work and we have to all help out for team work. I was already bothered that my lunch was cut in half but hey, it’s not an every day thing. I ordered a soup … And when I ordered it I didn’t leave my job which is only 4 min Away from this location until 30 min after I called it in. When I arrived … It still wasn’t ready. and now I only had 20 min left to my lunch. Finally they brought out my meal and I left. Now as a hungry and starving impatient person the first thing I did was dig my hands into the bag and take a piece of bread(don’t do this while driving lol) I went for another but it was soaked… screamed in my head a little. When I look in the bag, there to my dismay … My loaded potato soup… Spilled … Not properly sealed by the lid correctly… it was something really small and could have easily been fixed if time was on my side today. But as I was in a hurry and on my lunch … Anything that went wrong caused me to flip. I wanted a refund and nothing to do with outback… I called and spoke with the supervisor Adam and he was so kind… And me still an angry mess.(my soup) when I arrived I was livid !!! And then I saw him come out and I just stood there all rude and nasty But Adam was so polite and offered to replace my meal and refund anyway he replaced my soup and gave me a large and I just couldn’t be that rude b! t(hy customer anymore. I know accidents happen and I should have handled it better being that I also work based of my customer service skills. But human error … And emotions got the best of me and I should have been more patient. Anyway Adam and his whole team are great and I hope you guys could forgive me for my actions today. I will definitely recommend you always. Great customer service! I’ll definitely leave a 5 start review on Unilocal!thank you Adam ! Guys come here for lunch ! Super friendly … Better than the customers.

I like Outback for food/price, but the service here us typically not great. Like we had enough time to look through entire menu to before someone coming by to get drink order, the we had to ask twice for bread, then they didn’t bring any plates with the bread and the bread/salad came out before the drinks, the drink was wrong, the food came without the side, had to wait a while to get a refill after the dinner came, and then the waiter took forever to take the credit card and bring it back. The parking is in a garage which always seems pretty full. We were going to order dessert but we’d had too many mishaps we just wanted out. I do come back when I’m tempted with a coupon, but you really get what you pay for.

This visit wasn’t my first time here with my boyfriend, but there were 2 people up front I’m guessing the host and one server. We didn’t get any greeting, just stared at us. I was standing right in front of the podium and they just kept staring at me and not saying anything. One guy came up and they all started having a conversation. We just decided to sit down and wait. After about 10 minutes the hostess finally greets and sits us to our table. The server was very polite but very slow. We stayed at least 2 hours after we have been seated. He came in no time to take our drink orders but hen took 20 minutes to come back to finally take our food order. Took about 45 to get a burger with fries and quesadillas out. The last half hour trying to get our check and pay. Food is the same all the time and it’s good. Other than that nothing all special.

We always enjoy coming to Outback. The steaks are always good and very well priced and the sides are delicious. What we really love is their Wedge Salad. it’s a generous chunk of lettuce covered with blue cheese dressing, blue cheese crumbles, grape tomato and bacon but what puts it over the top is the most delicious sweet balsamic glaze that they drizzle over the salad. it really makes the salad pop and I have never had a Wedge salad as good elsewhere. There is a $ 1 up charge for the wedge but I think it’s well worth it. I get the Outback sirloin, 6 ounces which is more than enough for me with the sweet potato side(so good it’s like dessert!) We also love the very yummy brown bread with butter that is placed on the table. Warm and so good. The service is always friendly but professional and I have always found the servers to be accommodating. Hubby doesn’t eat blue cheese in any form and they always alter his Wedge salad to leave it out and substitute ranch instead. An added bonus are the coupons. We took some out of town friends here for dinner and because we were a large party(7) we were able to get 20% off the entire bill. Great deal, great food and lots of fun. Thank you Kenvil for being such a great server!

Used to come here a lot in 2014 and early part of 2015. Was back in town and so stopped by for dinner. After 3 – 4 minutes in the lobby, I left because there was no hostess to seat me. Went today for lunch and sat at bar for a couple of minutes, but no bartender. If I didn’t have to get back to work for a meeting at a certain time, I probably would have been more patient, but as it was, decided to leave for fear I would fritter away my lunch hour waiting around for service and then food. Not sure what’s going on at Outback.

Standard Outback food. Pretty terrible service. — We had to wait ~10 minutes for a seat even though much of the restaurant was empty(maybe they’re understaffed? seems like a common problem from other reviews) — Our server never offered or brought us water until we asked halfway through the meal(which is forgivable in and of itself. but, see below) — Service was slow overall and we had a mix-up with an order and a forgotten drink — But the WEIRDEST thing was definitely this: our waiter came up to us and asked if he could take away our utensils/napkins to give them to another group(«They already have food on their table»). What? This was so strange. I still can’t believe it happened. Our blooming onion arrived almost immediately after this awkward exchange and we had 1 napkin and set of utensils to share between 4 of us and no plates. It took at least another 5 minutes before we received new silverware. Being the very resourceful people that we are, we started using the lone remaining napkin as the communal napkin to get the deliciously greasy onion off our fingers. I’m pretty sure our waiter noticed this when he brought us new utensils but didn’t offer to get us a fresh one. My boyfriend actually used that napkin for the remainder of his meal which is both funny and kinda gross. Yeah I wouldn’t come back here.

Food 3 stars Service 1 star Not returning My steak was a little dry. Sweet potato side burned at one spot. Asparagus side costs extra AND there were only 3 of them. That’s very stingy. Also, 2 of the asparagus was old and hard. Waitress was no where to be found when we need her. Did not come back to refill our lemonade and water. Kitchen took 20 minutes to put together a haphazard dessert shooter(pictured below). They did not even bother wiping the mouth of the jar off. Isn’t that a basic restaurant presenting rule??? When we asked the waitress about the slow dessert, she was very short. When the dessert finally came, she threw the jar on the table in front of me, and it made a «clank.» What is going on??? Better services at Longhorn Steakhouse. This was a $ 70 meal with $ 60 worth of bad experience.

I occasionally stop here on my lunch break today i ordered togo and nothing was right. No bacon on my aussie cheese fries. The ranch dipping sauce was bad and had a foul taste to it. The complementary bread came with no butter. I will not be going back to this location theres always an issue with my order.

Came here this past weekend since it was right next to the convention hall and we had a little break while waiting for panels etc. When we first went in, we were told to wait off to the side though the restaurant was relatively quiet. The food and drinks were amazing. Also, pretty darn reasonably priced. I forgot how well priced it was for a steak($ 9.99 for a 6 oz sirloin plus two sides). The blooming onion is amazing as always. I got the sirloin with mac and cheese(which was alright) and the garlic mashed potatoes were amazing. The sirloin was pretty good. I mean it’s a chain so you can’t expect the best but it’s still delicious and flavorful. The wait staff was friendly also and on point. Great Outback for sure.

As we walked, in it looked as if they had just opened but the sign clearly says open for lunch 11 a.m. Daily. Shortly after, several families entered the restaurant… We ordered blooming petals $ 4. Salmon with baked sweet potato$ 15.99 .Tilapia topped with crab meat and mixed veggies $ 15.99 and complimentary warm wheat bread arrived with butter… water with lemon on the side(free) haha… our servers name was Frank… Very attentive… Food was hot, fresh and delicious or I was just hungry… Retailmenot had an extra 10% off whohoo… I’m so pleased $ 34.65 total…

I work across the street and decided to get some take away dinner. What I experienced was worst than a fast food place. After receiving my email confirmation and time to pick up my order I proceeded to go pick up my food only to have nobody at the take out window. Once I walked to the bar and asked for some assistance, somebody assisted me and was shocked to have somebody at the take away door. They apparently didn’t even know to expect me because now a second person came to talk to me and find out about my order. I understand sometimes things slip through the cracks and perhaps there was a delay in receiving my order. What made this experience even worst and to the brink of ridiculousness was the food I received. I was appalled at the site of the food that looked like it was scrapped off somebody else’s leftover plate. I can’t even find the correct words to describe it. It didn’t only look bad but it was actually smaller than a kids meal. I’ll let you decide by looking at a picture and you decided if that was worth the $ 13. If they didn’t know I was coming, or they screwed up the order, i would of been fine just telling me and I would of waited for them to prepare the proper meal that I paid for.

Wow! great food and bad service since the server was a bit rude and forgot a few things of the order, like no cheese on the salad and the only time when he was nice was when he brought the bill, of course to get a good tip. I’m not thinking about coming to this place again.

THREEWORDS: DON’T DOIT I used to love Outback but they have really gone down hill, especially this location. An empty restaurant and I still waited 20 Minutes for a table. French Onion soup was tasteless I didn’t receive silverware until 15 minutes after our food came The Alice Springs chicken was like rubber. I couldn’t even finish it. My girlfriends burger was burned on the grill and was so dry. NEVERAGAIN. A waste of 45 dollars.

I came here shortly before an event at the Meadowlands to get a snack beforehand. The location is great if you have something going on at the Meadowlands. This Outback is just a short walk from the convention center, and even closer to a handful of hotels that boarder the Meadowlands. My party of 4 was seated promptly and the place was pretty empty at around 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon. The waitress was pretty slow though. I’d like to think she was new, or just having a bad day because the place wasn’t crowded at all. It’s not that she was terrible or I considered complaining… she was just slow and her timing was off. We shared 3 apps, the wings, the buffalo cheese dip, and some loaded fries. The fries were tasty, yet they were a little… limp. I would have preferred a bigger fry. The buffalo dip was really tangy and delicious. However, there wen’t enough chips, and the chips really weren’t strong enough to handle the dip. A manlier chip would have been better suited for this dipping mission. They kept on cracking. The celery was also sad looking. It looked old. I didn’t have the wings, but the others seemed to enjoy them although they all laughed at how unspicey their«hottest» wings are. Like all the other Outbacks, Outback is fine enough. It’s better than an Applebee’s or a Friday’s, but It’s a bit pricey for what it is. This particular location though is super nice if you are in need of a bite before or after a convention at the Meadowlands.

Madison Madison Madison our server was smiles and professional. Very attentive and on point. What a nice relief of service by someone who seems to care. We arrived and were seated right away. We ordered the Teriyaki sirloins steak which was done as I asked BUT not enough for a Man my size. Make sure to order a appetizer or appetizers before eating them. For an appetizer I had the Cesar salad which was good. For dessert the Spotted Dog Sundae with strawberries on top hit the spot. The place is cozy nice music and for the most part clean… The floor needed some attention. Pieces of paper and food just seemed to be part of the design. NOBUENO!!! Other than that this place warrants 4 stars from me… Yes even though its a chain restaurant and despise previous reviews. Thanks to Madison for making our experience worth it. OK so after eating our food and writing this review someone finally came around for a quick sweep.

Came here Friday night for dinner. It was surprisingly not crowded. Interesting. We approached the hostess and hostess which were friendly and they sat us down promptly. However, once we sat down we waited almost 15 minutes without service. Finally, our waiter came to us and he was nice. He got us our beverages and we placed our dinners. I ordered the grilled chicken on the Barbie and my boyfriend ordered a steak cooked medium rare. When his steak came out, it was well done. We sent it back and the manager came out and had us make sure it was cooked correctly. Other than the service(beside the waiter because he was nice and attentive), this review gets 2 stars.

I came in with my bf on a Friday night we were greeted and seated in seconds. Service was very good. Our server was very attentive, I am so sorry that I forgot his name I would usually give credit where it’s due. Food was okay. Blooming onion was kind of soggy after two minutes in the table. The sirloin was ok I love wood fire grill because it gives that smoky on the fire taste to the steak but my sirloin was quite bland. I am quite a fan of outback so I will come again hoping for the best! Kiddos to the bread it was nice and hot when it was served on our table!

One of my old favorite chain steakhouses. They offer consistently decent food regardless of the location. Portions are also well sized. My favorites are the steak & shrimp combo, as well as the blooming onion appetizer. Drinks are good with regular beers on draft not overpriced. They offer good happy hour prices and food too. The complimentary bread offered here also very good too. Always served warm with melting butter. I never leave here hungry or unsatisfactory. Only difference from location to location is the quality in service. Normally it’s good. I’m not a huge fan of their desert menu, which I feel should be improved. They also offer curbside to go window and you can order from a mobile app and take the food home.
