This is my laugh now cry later kind of outdoor strip mall. We love it here and visit weekly =). *** Parking and Navigating the mall is an acquired skill *** this is the main reason it gets 3 stars. Now lets get to the cool stuff… this plaza has a lot to offer. To me there’s two sections. 1. The Plaza mall area 2. Other retails spots up the block and around the«corner».(explained below) Lets starts with número uno! — Kerasotes movie theater is dope! — Houlihans has great happy hour deals! — Chilis makes awesome margaritas! — Pier 1 is always having a sale! — Starbucks, Cheese burger paradise and Chipotle are literally lined up together. All great! Now on to numero dos! — Outback steakhouse is in the area. — Olive garden get packed! — Buffalo Wild wings and Red Robin are next to each other. — Home goods, Marshalls and TJ maxx are here. — Walmart is always mobbed no matter when ya go lol. — It’s literally too much to list, but Bobs furniture, Kohls, pet store, Verizon store, Bone fish grill, LA fitness, a Hotel and the meadow lands convention center all reside up the block or around the corner. The mall is in Hudson county and open on Sundays. I think this is the main factor why its like the destruction derby on weekends. Enjoy the shops and the area as its pretty dope once you learn the lay of the land. Enjoy peeps!

The Plaza is so different than what it was years ago. I’m always here at least once a week. There’s a lot of places to go to around the area. Just be prepared the parking lot can get crazy with all the business but you’ll find a spot but it could be far. Just make sure to pay attention some people don’t seem to look back when they drive out of the spot or drive straight knowing someone is backing out. I made it a rule to back into a spot to avoid any mishaps.

This area is a small courtyard of sorts surrounded by a lot of corporate offices. Selection is pretty good, but you can tire of it quickly if you work I’m the area. VERY busy during standard lunch hours. It has ample parking that will get FULL during those lunch hours. If you don’t know the area, it’s confusing. A lot of new businesses added to this area in recent years. A couple of chain restaurants. Nice place to walk around on a nice day.

Why is navigating this mall area such a mess?! I was looking for the Home Goods and came from Turnpike South/Rte 3. I had phone GPS, but my phone died as soon as I got off the exit. I figured there would be signs indicating where I should go. I was correct — they had signs, but no arrows or indicators as to which way the stores were. So, I ended up going in circles for about 15 minutes — first, made a right toward the businesses/exit to Rte 3; second, went straight into the damn crowded Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club; third, turned around toward the entrance thinking that I initially went in the wrong direction, but ended up in the Raymour and Flanigan parking lot; finally, used my last choice of getting on the main road and making a left(instead of right or straight) and correctly got into the area with the Home Goods. Just awful to get around — bad signage, lots of roundabouts, crazy packed and traffic. I’ll stick with the Paramus Home Goods next time.

Lots of restaurants including Red Lobster, Chili’s Houlihans, Burger King, Outback(down the road), Chipotle, and Cheeseburger in paradise. It’s really not a bad area for a decent selection of food, but it’s easy to get turned around because of the no left turns and other weird Jersey Road Rules. Lots of hotels around because of the Meadowlands convention center. Not the greatest space(took the NJ bar here) but there are at least trees, green shrubs, etc.

This place has a horrible parking lot. The selection of restaurants here isn’t bad, though.

This is an outdoor strip mall. It has a couple of decent restaurants and surround a decent theatre that will be getting knocked down soon because they are building a new giant multiplex. They have a Red Lobster, Houlihans, Burger King, and Stefanos at the Plaza and Nikko Sushi & Bento. My review is mostly on the local owned places: Stefano’s at the Plaza and Nikko’s sushi. Damn good! Stefano’s is greek food and freshly cooked to order which means it takes a bit to cook. Its still fast foodish, but damn yummy. The garlic mayonnaise is awesome and I hate mayonnaise. Its so garlicky great that I use it on everything. I usually get the shish touk platter which is a lot of food for about $ 12. Next is Nikko Sushi & Bento which is a SMALL sushi shop. I mean, don’t go there if you have more than 2 friends with you. They have outdoor dining which is not exactly the best depending on the weather. Their miso is fresh and tasty, the prices are decent and they have a ramen bar as well. Prices are spectacular for the food as well. Plenty of parking since its a strip mall and there are a couple of shops there. Ideal place to go for dinner and date since the theatre is right there. Be careful though, these local places tend to close around 8.
