I always treat myself to lunch on Friday(pay day!) and though there are plenty of other options in Harmon Meadow, I usually end up at Cosi. The food is good, plenty of healthier options, but the best part is actually the employees, who are always super friendly.

Had breakfast at Cosi. The food was cool, and the service was delightful. Wouldn’t mind revisiting.

Tried this place for breakfast. Service was very slow even though we were practically the only customer(I can guess why). The cashier had to switch registers 3 times to finally finish ringing us up. She was obviously new, but no one was helping her. The food was mediocre. The cook came to our table and explained that they were out of eggs, so was it okay to make our dish with egg whites only. Whaaat? There was only 2 of us, but even with that, our orders were finished at different times. Then we had to ask what had happened to our beverages and wait some more while they were prepared. There was plenty of staff, but it was hard to tell what they were actually doing. Will never go back. Am writing this review to save everyone else from the experience.

The customer service here used to be great. but today it was terrible. Didn’t get a smile when we walked up to the register and when my fiancé asked what soups they had he pointed to the sign like we were idiots(the soup sign said friday, it’s Saturday). Our food wasn’t brought to us like the other tables and nobody said thank you. Everyone who works here jist seems miserabke… will NEVER come here again

First time here, walked in as only one of three customer. Completely ignored until I asked where I ordered and from the counter was showed. Then, at the counter an insolent young woman took my order. Here on business so when the receipt rolled out of the machine, I wasn’t sure if I needed to sign as there was a place for a signature, but the woman behind the counter ran off with the receipt on the machine. Finally just took what looked like mine and sat down. Finally a ver nice guy brought my food with a nice apology for the wait. The food was marginal at best. I ordered the mushroom bowl, which had one really small mushroom with some kind of rubbery cheese on top and a bunch of mixed rice and a so so piece of what appeared to be their signature flat bread. Overall pretty meh…

First of all the line was confusing. We were on the line but the cashier said its not the line cause her register is jammed. We ordered our food and told us it will take 15mins. 45 mins gone by but they haven’t made our food. When I told the guy, he looked for the receipt and told me that we need to wait another 15mins since they are going to make it now. We got up and asked to get our money back, the manager rolled her eyes and gave the money back. No single sorry nothing. It was def ghetto service. That manager need to slap herself. I will never go there.

I’m not a huge fan of Cosi, I like Panera way better — but because the Chipotle around the corner was inexplicably«closed» at prime lunch hour(there were people eating inside too… ummm) I settled for Cosi, and I must say, this is probably one of the least infuriating ones I’ve been to. I always get the turkey and brie sandwich. It never fails to disappoint, even if it is a little overpriced.

I have always had a good experience at the Cosi in Secaucus, though usually I am only getting coffee or a quick salad. The staff is very friendly! The last time I was there the coffee was free which was a nice surprise! It’s a nice location with indoor/outdoor seating and free wifi.

Bad service by Glenys, the cashier/server” who not only had a bad attitude, but should know the old saying, «The customer is always right!» I ordered a coffee iced, but she said, «I didn’t order it that way.» Even if I did not say that(which my friend with me said I did ask for iced), she should of politely said & offered to make it iced. Instead I received more attitude & just to add ice. Fake pizza was good, people who made it and served it good. Glenys the cashier at the moment, not good. Miserable young girl who hates her job.

Won’t go again. The sandwich is so small. My friend had to order another one.

This is not my favorite Cosi location but it will do as it is located close to the movie theatre and outlets. It has both indoor and outdoor seating for those nice days. Service is usually quick. I just wish they had a soda fountain.

They don’t have anything on their menu and, instead of telling you when they order, they’ll just replace it and you don’t find out until you open your bag and see just a salad and some bread when you asked for a shrimp caesar sandwich. And when you ask them for the sandwich, they tell you that they gave you the shrimp caesar salad, but when you get to your desk all pissed off, there’s no shrimp in that salad. So you paid $ 11 for a plain caesar salad and half a cappuccino like a DAMNSUCKER. Oh, and you waited 20 minutes for it.

I really just like their Tomato Basil Soup. It’s good with any sandwich. Cosi is the same everywhere so nothing special. Watch a movie or do cartwheels in the open space in front of it.

I don’t see why this spot get low rating. Went there last Saturday and enjoyed creamcheese bagel, flat bread and wrap. I wish I could have a salad but around 10 o’clock, they only serve breakfast menu.

I like Panera, but sorry folks Cosi is the new standard for upscale quick healthy meals. Cosi ‘s Famous Salad has always been great, and the soups are delicioius. Now they’ve launched these new Rice Bowls. I ordered the Stuffed Portabello Bowl that has Veggies on a bed of Multigrain Rice. The rice was a little chewy, but because of the Red Rice, I think they intended it that way. Also ordered the Pasta Chicken Soup and it was great. The flat bread compliments everything and the Lemonade is great. My fast food choice. Wish Cosi was in California.

Now that it’s become a very popular spot in the area for lunch hour, it’s very crowded, very often. I’m obviously not alone when I say that the food, especially the sandwiches, are still worth the wait in line. But the lines are longer & slower. And now when they get busy, the service really slows down & starts lacking. They’re not any less friendly or accommodating, just check your to go bag before you leave, make sure the order is all in there. The old drive thru check over method, ya know?

Meh. While this place has some good coffee drinks the food is pretty blah. Getting to be too much like a chain or something. Seems to have lost its edge. I would skip for food but try some of the drinks.

Probably only rates 2.5 stars but rounding up for niceness of staff. Saw this place yesterday on the way home from a meeting and was super psyched to see a Cosi in NJ. I haven’t eaten at Cosi since I used to work around the corner from one midtown. Memory: I used to love the aroma and taste of fresh bread straight from the oven and I think I almost always got a roast beef with cheddar sandwich. Fixings were fresh and when it got crowded, someone would always wade through the line and hand out free bread samples. Current: Cold bread, not stale but not super fresh. No more roast beef and fixings on the wilted side. Got the Italian sandwich which was okay but not great. (sob)

How do you pronounce the name of this place? «Cozzi»? «Cozy»? «Cousey»? I’m not certain and it doesn’t seem that anyone else is either. Had lunch here with a small group of work peeps the other day. Cosi reminded me of Panera Bread but a little better(more variety, and less expensive). They offer a nice selection of breakfast items in addition to lunch items(soups, sandwiches, salads, etc). You place your order at the register and then they bring your food to your table. We each ordered something different(steak TBM sandwich, chicken TBM sandwich, Italiano sandwich, and the Bombay Salad). I ordered the Turkey Light, which was grilled chicken and romaine lettuce along with a spicy honey mustard sauce on a warm, toasty flatbread. Nothing like a toasted sandwich, right? This notion is echoed by my coworkers, however, the staff forgot to toast their TBM sandwiches. They were a bit disappointed but they were still happy with the quality of their sandwiches nevertheless. They would have complained, but the line was crazy-long at that point and not worth it. The side options for all sandwiches are either kettle-cooked potato chips(not baked) and baby carrots. One of us ordered the baby carrots in lieu of the chips(here’s a hint… it wasn’t me). The seating at Cosi is wacky. There is a lot of open space where they could easily add more tables. Perhaps this is more of a take-it-to-go place? We had trouble finding a table that could accommodate all 5 of us. What I do like is that they have the calories of everything they serve listed on the menu board and also the to-go menu. Presume that these are guesstimates, as they are never 100% accurate if there is human involvement in making the food(i.e. — not the pre-packaged items), however, it’s nice to have some assistance when you’re looking for something a little lighter on the fat and calorie side. They offer fat-free substitutions for their vinaigrettes, too. Oh, and they have fresh-made S’mores too, those devils!
