The steak fajitas are excellent! Hudson was a fantastic server.

Second choice for the evening, but should have been our first! Very accommodating and helpful staff. Jalapeño margarita was yummy… And my dining partners have been on the hunt all weekend for Oak Creek Hefeweizen. They serve it by the pitcher here so they were happy. Salsa was yummy and served with warm chips. Definitely should try this place.

Service was Excellent! Guacamole Excellent,! Chips were fresh. 3 street tacos for $ 18?! Ridiculous The pork tasted like cinnamon, fish was fishy, chicken was bland. Not authentic. Even with the 10% discount from the hotel not worth it.

The chips and salsa were great but everything else was subpar. My wife and I will not be back.

The location was good and sitting on the patio for lunch was a great way to wind down after a long day of hiking. The food was okay, not amazing and not very authentic but pretty good. I ordered the tacos and a side salad. The dressing that came with the salad was very similar to traditional Italian, there are so many ways to make a quick fresh tasting dressing that this was disappointing. The tacos were okay but the steak was overly sauced and I would prefer more limes and cilantro over lettuce, tomato and sour cream. Overall it’s fine, I would get drinks and snacks here again but not put at the top of my list for a meal.

Nice outdoor patio hour and a limited happy hour menu. Ordered the nachos with shrimp — pretty good with lots of cheese. The service was subpar; definitely felt like I was bothering my waiter — you know that low key stink eye. Happy hour margaritas are $ 5 — only get on the rocks. The frozen margs are terrible; watered down slush. Pricey menu — not worth it.

We were in a hurry so we didn’t order any full entrees. just the guac flight and my hubby ordered the sweet corn soup. Both were good. My favorite guacamole was the one with bacon and shrimp. super yummy. They also have very good Margaritas even though they served the prickly pear one in a small glass. For $ 9 I felt that was kind of a jip. The service was good. Our waiter eric new we were in a hurry and had all of our food prepared in time for us to make our trolley tour. Overall it was a good experience. It was a beautiful november day at 50 degrees so we said outside on the patio that is attached to the restaurant. it was nice seeing the other shops and people watching.

Service was awful. Food came out cold after waiting almost 30 minutes for taquitos and a chicken enchilada. And you have to pay for chips and salsa? At a Mexican restaurant? There are plenty of other places to eat on the strip. I wouldn’t waste my time, or money here.

Very average food at resort prices. My first $ 20 burrito. The black beans straight from the can? Music blasting so loud you can’t converse across a table. What can I say positive, Service was good. Local beer was good too. There was no joy in this eating experience.

This review is only for the happy hour from 3−5pm. We found this restaurant while walking around Sedona and a decided to check out their happy hour which included $ 4 bottomless chips and salsa and $ 3 draft beers. The chips and salsas were really good and it turns out they are made fresh at the restaurant. The $ 3 beer selection included Negro Modelo, Corona, Pacifico The patio is dog friendly and offered a nice view during sunset. Vinnie, our waiter was awesome. Friendly, fast and even brought out water for our dog. The fajitas smelled amazing but we didn’t get a chance to try it. Maybe next time.

We didn’t spend a lot of time during our visit on the ultra touristy«strip,» aka Uptown, Sedona, but you can’t go to Sedona(at least as first time visitors, like us) and NOT hit this location. TONS of shops, restaurants, tourist info(don’t miss the Chamber of Commerce hub here!!), a GREAT camera shop, the legendary Pink Jeeps, etc… BUT, of course, you shouldn’t spend ALL your time here either! We finished up one of the aforementioned Jeep Tours(see future reviews, we did two!!) and were hungry, so we asked for recommendations(for Mexican) and of the two options here on the«strip,» both locals recommended 89 Agave over the«other place,»(which they said has slipped recently, but I’m sure would have been fine as well…) We chose to eat outside on Agave’s café-style sidewalk(how can you even consider eating inside when twilight is as beautiful as it is here, even on a super busy tourist strip?!?) We ordered drinks(an amazing Margarita for me and a local brew for the Mr.) a MASSIVE order of chips and salsa, and a combo of chicken and steak fajitas(not quite as massive, but good) along with sides of rice, refried black beans, and wonderfully flavorful guacamole. It got too dark(and relaxing/cozy…) to take pictures, but this was some of the best Tex Mex we had on our trip to AZ(BEST will come shortly…) and it was a perfect ending to another GREAT day in this wonderful, magical place.

The staff is excellent. They are there for you and never forget about from beginning to end. Super friendly, polite and on it. We ordered the fajitas for two which was perfect for us. Can choose two types of meat and the meal comes with separate fixings for both people. The food was delicious and the chicken was super tender. It’s a lot food for two people.

Stopped here on my way to Flagstaff. The salsa music and the outdoor mist with great view caught my attention here. I was able to make it for Happy Hour. The food was good but pricey with a limited menu selection. Staff was attentive with the food. Quick and well presented.

This place was good, but not great. We ate here twice during our recent trip to Sedona. The first time was on the 4th of July. My mom and I stopped in around 8:30pm for drinks and appetizers. Service was quite slow. It took over 5 minutes for our server to take our drink order and almost 10 minutes to get our actual drinks. Then another 10 minutes before he came back to take our food order. We ordered chips and salsa and an artichoke dip. Artichoke dip was good, salsa was too mild. I didn’t find out until our second visit that they had a hotter salsa. I wish our server would have told us. The second visit was better. Our server was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It still took forever to get drinks, but I think it’s more of a bartender thing, not a server thing. My son wanted to order the artichoke dip but they were sadly out of it. It took a little while to get our food too, but everything was good. I had the fish tacos and I enjoyed them. They give you a big bowl of rice and beans for the table to share which I thought was nice… and free refills if you want more. They probably get tired of seeing plates come back to the kitchen with only the rice and beans left. The margaritas aren’t the best, but good enough. All in all, decent place. I’m sure I’ll eat here again next time I’m in Sedona.

Taos Cantina has maybe the best view on this«downtown» street! We ate outside and soaked in the view. Food wasn’t bad, I had the corn soup which was good, but the chips and guac and my boyfriend’s burrito were just A-OK. Would recommend the margarita with the pear infusion, yum.

Talk about good!!! We was seated right away. EXCELLENT service!!! EXCELLENT food!!! Wow. Everything we had was delicious. Chicken fajitas were moist chunks of chicken in a marinade. Sooooo Good! Chicken quasadilla was excellent! The chicken chimichanga is the best. The flaky crust ahhhhh… words cant describe this food!!! WILL return to this mexican restaurant. The salsa is really good… with great, hot chips!!! So glad we made a great and better choice.

Great little Mexican food find in uptown Sedona, which is very much appreciated by this diner because our other favorite is now«no bueno». FIRSTIMPRESSIONS: The hostess was new and she was absolutely a doll. Beautiful, sweet, energetic, happy, polite, accommodating … everything you could want. We watched her bus tables and deliver drinks for the bartender. She definitely had a can-do attitude and that was nice. The bar is small(6 seats), but comfortable. The bartender warmed up to us after a couple of drinks(that we had … not her!). She was slammed, so that is understandable. Lets start with the important stuff: THEDRINKS I’m always excited when I can get a good hand squeezed lime margarita with my favorite tequila! I had the Ultimate Margarita — It was $ 15(a little steep, in my opinion), but they gave me a higher end tequila and I passed on the souvenir glass. There were tons of yummy cocktails to select from — Sangria, Bloody Mary, spiced Iced Tea, Rum Punch — All those were in the $ 10 range. I watched the bartender make them by hand and she didn’t skimp on the liquor! Tasted every one with a straw before it went out — total pro style! Pretty decent beer selection and they also had flights of beer and tequila. That’s always fun for the amateurs ;-) THEFOOD: The salsa was good and had a hot little kick to it. Good spice and a little hint of smoke. It was certainly not the«traditional salsa from a tex mex restaurant» — You could definitely taste the different spices and peppers. We had the Sonoran Quesadilla($ 10) and the Chili con Queso($ 8) for apps. The quesadilla had roasted poblano, oaxaca cheese and was served with a very fresh pico, sour cream and some guacamole. We liked the guacamole so much we ordered it when we went 2 nights later, it was so fresh and tasty! The tamales were really good too — slow roasted beef with cheese and a nice red adobe sauce. Not overly sauced and just the right amount of spice. This was served with rice and black beans for $ 18, and EASILY share-able between two hungry people(especially if you add a starter). The Street Tacos are AWESOME. They come three to a plate and you can choose from chili roasted chicken or slow roasted pork, marinated steak, spiced sea bass or spiced shrimp. They’re in small-ish hand made corn tortillas with pico and served with onions and radishes and cheese as a garnish. Those also come with a side of rice and black beans(between $ 15-$ 17). Again — easily share-able! OVERALLEXPERIENCE — Well, we liked it so much we went back 2 days later to go through it all over again. It’s not the cheapest mexican restaurant I’ve been to(nothing is cheap in Sedona!), but I can say with my whole heart(and tummy) that it was one of the tastiest.(and besides … you’re probably on vacation in Sedona, anyway — splurge a little!)
