We always visit both locations of Cocopah. The shop in Tlaquepace has unique beads and bead kits. The helpful and busy clerks truly love the merchandise. They will stop and help you with any question. The beads are pouring out into the walkway in baskets and you are offered a small hand basket to fill. Another bead lover’s paradise is located across the street. It is like Cocopah with an international flare. Anna is knowledgeable and helpful. A customer was trying on a vintage wedding dress and telling her story while I rustled through Thai red jasper. These are both must sees and way beyond a bead shop experience! I loaded many projects.

Fun store! Moderate selection of beads but what they do have is lovely. The service was excellent. Clerk was exceptionally helpful. Had fun putting together/designing my own jewellery. And very authentic to the area.

Cocopah is such an interesting name and a small little store that sells a wide variety of items that I believe woman would want to get. Mostly jewelry and nice pretty shells and stones that you can put around your house. You can buy lots of little gifts for your friends and family! If you are creative and artistic you can make your own jewelry or buy it made by them either one you have a choice. Sedona has a lot of interesting and quite different stores that I don’t really see often in Los Angeles. But yeah if your into doing something different maybe you could check out this store.

This is by far my favorite store in Tlaquepaque! They have the most amazing selection of cool Art, Beads, Baskets, Jewelry that is locally made and estate jewelry! The store is hardly bigger than a postage stamp and everything in the store is displayed beautifully. The selection of shells from around the world is exquisite. I can not recommend this shop more than I have. A Sedona must see.

This tiny shop is our favorite shopping destination in Sedona. If you’re looking for something other than the usual stock in trade postcard or t-shirt to bring back home to commemorate your vacation, a stop here is a must. At the door, you will be greeted by tantalizing baskets full of unusual sea shells and beads — beads you won’t find elsewhere as they are made exclusively for Cocopah — all extremely well priced. A bead on some silk or leather makes a perfect unique gift — our neighbor’s kids still wear them! And if you are a beader — inside you will find a noteworthy array of beads from hand-painted ceramic beads by local artisans, to stunning heavy antique amber and silver Tibetan beads amongst shelves brimming with unusual curios from all over the world. My personal draw — is the array of 1940 era Pawn Native American bracelets, necklaces and earrings and drool-worthy antique fine jewelry. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend! If you like antiquing or thrifting — where the sense of discovery is part of your experience — you will love this store — and be sure to check out Cocopah North as well!
