Outstanding dining experience. The margaritas are made with fresh squeezed juice. I had the pomegranate-pineapple one. It was great. For dinner I had the meatloaf and my wife had the porkchop. Both were excellent dishes. Prices for dinners range from about $ 12 to $ 26. It’s well worth the price. Go!

Came here after reading the reviews. Not to be missed. My husband had the Breakfast Burrito and I had the Orange-Blueberry-Ricotta Pancakes. Both were fabulous. The burrito wasn’t obscenely large and it was well seasoned. The Pancakes were of a decent portion as well. It came with an egg and candied bacon. Both came with some of the best home fries I’ve ever had. I’m a breakfast person and this place certain of met the mark.

What a great place to eat! The wait staff is so attentive .the food is beyond delicious! I had a burger and fries and it was so good, the bun was a soft roll that melted in your mouth. The atmosphere is very hip, new age, with reminders of what really matters in life. Gratitude, love, kindness, and peace. If you are traveling through Sedona this is a must try eatery! Be sure to check out the sparkling glitter blue floor! And check out my photos! Namaste.

I must admit I was a little hesitant when we arrived at the Karma Café and looked at the outside. It looked kind of plain. But as soon as we entered we were given a warm welcome by the employees and started enjoying the relaxing and energetic space, walls decorated with art, and positive statements on the lamp shades and employee’s shirts. We had lunch one day(vegetable strudel, onion soup, chorizo stuffed jalapeños, green chile torta) and breakfast the next(breakfast burrito, grilled vegetable omelet) and it was all EXCELLENT. The food was fresh and delicious. My favorite was the chocolate lava cake, which was to die for. And our waitress on both occasions was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!

To be very honest my trip to Sedona was interesting… the view and scene was amazing(breath taking) but it was so hard to find good food. I Unilocaled all the restaurants choosing only the restaurants with good(and lots) of reviews. With no luck i stopped by this place cus of its odd name«karma» and surprisingly their food was pretty good. We actually(for the first time in 4 days) finished the whole plate and then to-go more food for dinner! The trio pasta and sandwich is what we had and i would totally go back to get more!

I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately my meal was bad. So bad I couldn’t even take the meat home for my dog. I ordered the pork chop and it was so salty. Like something is seriously wrong salty. Idk if they have them soaking in salt water? it was Weird. But I was hungry and tried eating it with all the vegetables they put on it which helped a tad, but they were very vinegary and they were also hard to eat. I should of said something to the very nice waitress we had but we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant and for some reason that evening I was not up for confrontation. Like somehow they were the victims. The price for the food doesn’t make any sense. I knew I wasn’t paying for décor or ambiance at the place but was hoping the food would be fresh and tasty. No luck. My boyfriend had the fish and chips and he said they were definitely acceptable. We also got a salad and the salad dressing didn’t taste like anything and the spring mix lettuce was wilted. Ugh very disappointed with my dining experience here.

This place was pretty good. It took a bit of maneuvering to get into the shopping center where it’s located. So I feel like unless you’re familiar with the area, it’s not a great location. Our waitress was very welcoming and friendly. The interior is very blue. Not a bad thing — just interesting. Hubby and I both got the philly steak sandwich. And we got the sundried tomato hummus to start. The hummus was delicious, especially on top of the warmed pita. Our sandwiches were ok. I added chipotle mayo(which was a nice option), and it gave the sandwich a bit more flavor for my taste. I really liked the fries. An interesting thing was that it wasn’t very busy. There was a large family there before us, and perhaps another small table or two behind us. It took a while to get our food, and our waitress apologized, saying they didn’t get her order ticket. Not a huge deal, but strange since it didn’t seem busy. Just as we finished, we overheard another waitress(or maybe the same? I didn’t see) talking to another customer that they didn’t get the order ticket in the back, and so the customer would have to wait a bit longer. I think we’d be back for the hummus, but probably not for another meal.

Excellent homemade food! The chicken vegetable soup was amazing, as was the jalapeño poppers(they definitely had a nice kick) and the hummus plate! Highly recommend :)

Lucky enough to have tried them out during Sedona’s «Restaurant Week». They had an amazing $ 22 deal that included an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Their fried green tomatoes with shrimp appetizer was BANGIN’! The entrées(meatloaf and chicken fettuccine) were delish and the desserts were yummo! Service with a smile!

I ate here twice during my short visit to Sedona. Breakfast and dinner were both wonderful. Menu has abundant choices for healthy or hearty eaters alike. If you are vegetarian or vegan, bookmark this now. The quality of food is top notch. Everything is freshly prepared and tasted much better than many upscale restaurants in town. They even open on thanksgiving day offering regular menu(special thanksgiving dinner also available if you really must have turkey). Really, this place is an absolute bargain.

I had really hoped to give this place a great review. But… The fact is, the last time I ate in this establishment it was a Denny’s. Now it is the Karma Café. What a great name ! Great name, everything else not so much… First of all, I’m not quite sure what they intended with the new interior design. Though the menu is geared towards the upscale, they have mismatched tables and paper tablecloths. They have a nice full-service bar set up in the rear room but no bartender or bar stools. Again ??? Plus, they have paintings and art works for sale on their walls ??? Now, let’s get to the food… The menu is designed to provide a unique dinning experience. And, in fact, the food(at least what I had) was pretty good. Big problem, however. The first bite I took had some weird, hard and spiky, spice in it that totally poked my tongue.(See photo). If I had been a child or an elderly person biting into it that could have been a serious problem. The owner was nearby. I asked her what it was and told her of my experience. She told me it was a spice and completely disregarded my unpleasant experience. That is simply not the right way to operate a restaurant! Onto the cooks… And, I use this term very descriptively. A restaurant like this really needs at least one Chef. Not several cooks who are arguing and cursing in Spanish in the back — over the food counter where the guests can see and hear them. This is simply unprofessional and poor management. And, most importantly, perhaps if they had an actual Chef on duty I would not have been fed a large pointy, «Spice.» While I was there, aside from what happened to me, two people asked to see the manager, the cooks argued, and as we were leaving one of the severs was chastising another server as the owner looked on. As we walked out the door, no thank you, no sorry about the pointy spice in your food, no nothing. I think that says it all.

The last time we were in this space two years ago it was Bodacious Burgers. Last night Alan, Jim and I had dinner at Karma Café. The most striking thing as you walk in is the floor, which is a blue between cerulean and turquoise, w/sparkles. Great color. We were greeted by Mark, who was also our server. He seated us at a table for 4 and gave us menus. The walls are hung w/art by local artists. There’s a wooden table w/a variety of cool t-shirts and over by the window there’s a rack w/soaps on it for sale. The pork chop had been well reviewed and as Mark was delivering on to the woman sitting behind us, he swooped it by tantalizingly so I could see it. I was sold. Alan was interested in the fish and chips and Jim wanted a hamburger. We all decided to start w/salads. I ordered the mixed spring greens, which came w/cherry tomatoes, red onion, goat cheese and fennel tossed with basil vinaigrette. Alan and Jim both ordered the Karma salad, which consisted of spinach and arugula, roasted vegetables, zucchini, red peppers, carrots, fennel, feta cheese and roasted tomatoes in a sherry wine vinaigrette. The salads were $ 7.50 apiece and were generous. I had a glass of Rodney Strong Merlot, Alan had an Oak Creek Brewery Nut Brown Ale and Jim stuck w/water. We ordered our mains. Both men had sweet potato fries w/their meals. My pork chop came w/house made sauerkraut hash with German potatoes and roasted vegetables. The pork chop was topped with a mustard cream sauce and pepper jelly. The chop was moist and delicious, well trimmed so there was almost no fat, the sauce and the jelly adding lovely notes. The hash was extremely tasty. Alan wasn’t as happy w/his fish, which came topped w/a lemon sauce of some sort that wasn’t on the menu and was a surprise, though the fish itself was very good, as were the fries. Jim was very pleased w/his hamburger and fries. Prices were reasonable, service was genial and I loved that floor!

Just tried out this relatively new eatery in Sedona and were pleasantly surprised. Great menu with many vegetarian and vegan choices. Mark, our waiter, was very professional and friendly. My wife had the Veggie Struedel which she said was superb and I had probably the fanciest Fish & Chips I have eaten. The décor was upbeat and trendy. We will definitely return here.

The service was great and the food at Karma Café was delish! My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we decided to try Karma Café. The parking lot was empty & we were a little worried. The restaurant had opened in May, but we had been away & had not tried it yet. I had the pork chops & my husband the filet minion plus a salad. Both meals were some of the best we have had in Sedona with great quality & presentation!(& we have been living here 17 years & tried several restaurants, so that says a lot). I felt bad because the place was empty. When we spoke to the waitress she said, when the restaurant opened they had a bad start. They recently hired a new chef, completely changed the menu! She hopes that the word spreads. I have to say, I do too. Their food is ‘Excellent’, I will be visiting there often & hope Karma Café is very successful!!! ps. pricing is very fair for the quality food!

Where should I begin? My friends are I are very big on trying out local restaurants to support the community. Since this restaurant was closed to where my friends were staying at that particular weekend, we decided to give it a try. When we first arrived around 6:30pm on a Saturday night with a party of 9, this place was completely empty. Decoration was non-existence. No worries for as long as the food was good. We asked the server what the restaurant was known for, his response was«this restaurant is kinda new…» — which means they do not have any specialty item that he could recommend. Since I wasn’t that hungry, I only ordered an appetizer, chicken wings, as entrée. It was mostly burned, dried up and I couldn’t even finish it. Two of my friends who ordered seafood could not finish theirs because it was still somewhat frozen and under-cooked. The server did ask if they want to replace their meals, but we did not want to get sick for eating uncooked seafood since we had a wedding to attend the next day. The owner was kind enough to chase us down on our way out apologizing for the quality of the food that we just had. We certainly appreciate the gesture. Also, the waiter was extremely nice. Nevertheless, I will probably not come back here again on my next visit to Sedona. I truly hope this establishment will improve over the years and serve better quality food in the future for other guests.

I’ll chalk it up to bad luck(Or bad karma?) that our evening was less than spectacular here. We came as a large group and I shared some seafood risotto and had the hummus. The hummus($ 7.50) had an overpowering tomato flavor which isn’t necessarily bad, but not what I’m typically used to since the chickpeas(?) in it played a part in adding texture rather than contributing any flavor to the dish as a result. My husband had the Reuben which was served with turkey meat, a flavorful red cabbage sauerkraut, and melted cheese. Out of all the elements in the sandwich he said he liked the sauerkraut the best. The seafood risotto($ 21) was a different story. The rice tasted slightly undercooked/crunchy and the seafood clams and mussels were either ice cold or frozen. My clam still had a layer of ice coating the clam meat, and the mussel was ice cold when I bit into it. We asked the waiter to take the dish back since we couldn’t eat frozen seafood and they were very apologetic about the whole incident, asking if we wanted to substitute any other item free of charge. When we walked out the gentleman in charge(Possibly the chef or the owner) stopped us before we walked out the door and offered a very sincere heartfelt apology about giving us the cold/frozen seafood. He was upset that we were given a bad dish and I appreciate that he personally offered an apology to us. I’ll give this restaurant another chance to perhaps strike karmic nirvana. :)

We were looking for a brunch place in town and I stumbled across this place because of Unilocal.I ordered the omelet and it tasted fresh but didn’t have much flavor. I asked for salsa and they didn’t have any, but they had a ranchero sauce and let me tell you… They should serve that with their inlets because it is delicious! My meal also came with potatoes, but they were bland and undercooked. The place was dead when we came. I think it is new, but I would give it another shot!

Wow. It just shocks me how«some» people are bashers without cause. Richard G. must own a competing restaurant to have so much hate to spew on a brand new restaurant that is actually quite good. Writing a one star review with details is one thing, but GEEZ… We actually enjoyed our food and our experience. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and it was yummy! Hubby had a burger and was quite happy with his burger! The kid had mac and cheese and it was gone quick! The service was great and we’ll be back!
