The ONLY place we could find within walking distance of downtown Sedona at 10PM, so we stopped in for a shot and a beer. There were about 6 people in the place including the bartender and the guy with the funny looking hat singing with his guitar. The speakers were on super loud! Why does it have to be so loud when there so few people there? I didn’t care for the music, I didn’t recognize any of the music, neither did my adult children know any of the music that was being played. He finally went on break and the bartender put on some music from the radio behind the bar… great classic rock! yay! Now, that’s more like it! The shot and the two beers that we had each were fine. The kids had a good time playing darts, but then he started playing and singing again and we couldn’t hear ourselves talk so we started to leave. Good thing too, because there must have been a wedding nearby, because about 50 people bombarded the place as we were leaving. While waiting for(the only Über in town, lucky us!!!) to pick us up people kept asking where our pizza came from(I was carrying my leftover pizza that we ordered from Oak Creek Brewery). They must have been hungry because I got several questions about my pizza. So, the evening was nice. It would have been nicer if someplace other than Mooney’s Irish Pub was opened though(so we talk and be heard!).

It is what it is, it’s a dive bar and probably one of the only late night spots to get a drink in the town. For those expecting upscale Sedona atmosphere look elsewhere but if you are looking for a decent beer selection and good mixed drinks this is probably the only spot in town. You can order food from the near by restaurant when they are open. Had a guitar player doing acoustics when we were there.

Regulars have priority, apparently. If you’re from out of town, don’t come here. March 30, 2016.

Pretty much the only place open late in town. Real local vibe. Good times.

I walked into Mooney Pub and looked at the menu which had burgers, pizzas, chips and salsa. I then walked outside and called my wife to come and meet me. When I walked back into the Pub the bartender ask me what I wanted. When I said we were going to eat, she said they didn’t serve food or even have a kitchen. This after I read the menu. The woman was very rude. I also heard her rudel tell a family that children weren’t welcome. My advice don’t waste your time or money at Mooney Pub.

This has got to be one of the only places in Sedona that stays open past 10. It’s small and a little grimy, but frequently has live music. It can gather a decent crowd. $ 1 per game of foosball seemed a little steep, but there are two(free) dartboards.

This was a cool little spot in Sedona. Not super great but it worked if you are just looking for a spot to have a drink.

Maybe the only place to get a pint of guinness… but im not sure the ride female bartender is worth the trouble… fortunately for us there was live music tonight, which kept us here

Drink some great draft beer and stare at all the dollar bills on the wall people have left. There are works of art that rival what you can buy at the galleries.

Moving to Sedona from Ann Arbor(MI) was scary at first, but I found my home bar almost immediately. My love for Irish whiskey has been fulfilled by this wonderful pub. The bartender Jen is probably my favorite part of this bar and make sure to stop in on a Thursday to hear her sing some Journey, you will be amazed.

A really nice dive in Sedona and just what we were looking for. Cheap drinks, darts and a really good time for when you are in the area. It’s really nice to escape the tourist traps that Jack up their prices.

Well, it is out of the way and I wouldn’t be looking for an Irish pub in Sedona. I think it could be on Bar Rescue. Not too much going on here really slow for a weekend after 8 pm.

Although it is small inside good times were had by all, and the guy jammin out on Saturday night was really good! I would go back when back in Sedona. I like that people can hang out in the front. That was a plus considering how small it is inside.

If you’re looking for your typical, just like back home hole in the wall Irish pub this is the place for you. They have a small patio out front which is a great place to have a drink and watch the sunset. When everything else is closed in Sedona you can usually find people hanging out here!

This place is truly a diamond in the rough. They have great beer and great mixed drinks for a great price all while looking over a beautiful view. The atmosphere is wonderful and the bar tenders are a rare, attentive, and friendly group. You will not find a better bar in sedona.

I would recommend the clam chowder soup, it was so very good! My friends had the Bangers & mash and the Fish & chips, and all of us loved everything. We had a great time and a great lunch.

Not bad, though not particularly memorable? Served its purpose though just fine. Great view from the awkward little outdoor«patio» though! Not dissin’ it I promise — just… didn’t stand out I guess? Maybe it’s a different scene at night :)

Found this nice little bar using Unilocal while driving around Sedona on Thanksgiving day. Surprised to find it open and catch some football before heading to my parents house for turkey dinner. Friendly bartender never hurts. They have a good menu from a neighboring restaurant and they can also make a few small things in the bar itself. It does not really have the full Irish bar feel, but for sure a relaxing place to hang ou and have a few.

Mooney’s was the first place we passed on our way into town from our hotel, so we looked it up to make sure they were open late(not much in Sedona is and Unilocal kept finding listings in Flag) and decided to hit there after dinner. Mooney’s is a pretty legit Irish pub with a fully stocked bar and live music, friendly patrons and dogs wandering around, so all in all a decent place to spend a Saturday night. Since it was open late and close to our hotel, we stayed for a good few hours. It mostly cleared out about 1, except for us and a group of local restaurant employees there after their shift.
