Sedona Memories Bakery Cafe

My friend and I went to the Grand Canyon on a tour and lunch was included from this place. I wasn’t expecting much but this sandwich was amazing. It was HUGE on fresh baked bread. I ordered the turkey sandwich, at first I was a little iffy about it, because it had sunflower seeds and cranberry sauce, but I wasn’t disappointed the flavors blended perfectly.
Since it was a six hour tour the sandwich was perfect as I was able to have one part in the afternoon and the other half in the evening.

We went to Sedona Memories Bakery on the strength of Unilocal reviews. It did not disappoint. HUGE sandwiches on House made delicious bread. The combinations were fabulous and the owner accommodating. This will be a go to place in Sedona from now on. As a general rule share.

Awesome sandwiches, very large portions and never mess up the order, limited hours though.

I can make this a short review with just two words… HUGE SANDWICHES!
My exact words were «Holy Cow!» when it was brought to me. I had a cup of the daily soup as well and it was very tasty. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was great! I admit the bread was half the sandwich and could be less but the flavor was very good. Possibly homemade!
It’s a nice hole in the wall away from the main hustle of Sedona. Recommended!

The owner is a warm wonderful human being, his kindness made me love this place before I even took a bite of the glorious vegetarian sandwich. HUGE sandwich by the way, had to take a small break before I could finish it.

Very good! Highly recommend. Nice thin slices with crunchy crust and very well seasoned pizza. Comes with 8 slices.

Best sandwich shop in town. Fresh baked bread and HUGE sandwiches. Local resident– go there for lunch whenever I can.

Owner was really rude about giving what was already supposed to be on the sandwich — and they run out of staple items that go on your sandwich.
It just isn’t pleasant when you come in from out of town and get hassled by a guy about cranberry sauce. :(

Wow. Just wow. I’d leave it at that, but you have to understand how truly awesome this place is.
I decided to eat here based off of the previous reviews AND the one dollar sign. I’m a picky eater so my instincts told me to make a custom sandwich I knew for certain I would like. BUT since I’m on vacation and feeling adventurous, coupled with the raze reviews I went with the Turkey sandwich they create that comes with all kinds of craziness on it, and boy am I glad I tried it!!! Hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever had. And the price is a steal when you see the size! I couldn’t finish it all so I just pulled out the moist shaved turkey and delicious Swiss cheese! I was one happy girl at the end of this meal. My mom ordered the Special, Turkey BLT on butter bread and she couldn’t say enough good things about it!!! I’d give ⁶⁄₅ stars if I could.

Hidden gem. Every town has these laid back joints.
Key to success is the small menu, wish other restaurants would take that lead in their menu planning.
Ham sammie, roast beef sammie, and the italian… all absolutely yummy in their simplicity!

We all got turkey and personalized it. No problem. We all loved it. The turkey was amazing! It comes with avocado, cream cheese, cranberry sauce, and veggies, but we can also get just mayo and mustard. Service was great and everyone was friendly. We were told by a local that this is where everyone likes to eat. I know why! We would definitely go again!
One warning: the wheat bread is dark brown like what some call rye bread. My kids were mad about this, so if you care about that go for a different type of bread Either way it was tasty!

My wife and I got a couple sandwiches here to take with us on a hike. Cool little shop with a friendly staff.
The sandwiches themselves were amazing and huge and perfect for eating halfway through a hike. I got the roast beef and my wife got the vegetarian. Both awesome. Bread was great too. Definitely seems like a place where whichever sandwich you choose, you win.

Place has very good sandwiches but they aren’t open for very long during the day so plan accordingly or you will miss out. The bread is delicious. This is a nice place to sit outside and chill while doing some shopping in uptown Sedona or after hiking in Oak Creek Canyon. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed this café — even our children did! The menu was simple. The food was delicious and the portions were abundant. The outdoor seating was comfortable and cosy.

Best sandwich I have ever had!!! The bread is homemade and amazing. We also bought a cookie and cinnamon roll that are also made fresh there and they were so good!!! I would definitely eat here again!

Sandwiches are HUGE! Definitely can split with another person. It’s a «hole in the wall», so don’t be scared to try it out based on looks. I would recommend Veggie or Italian sandwiches. ONLY ACCEPTS CASH!!!

Sweet baby Jesus. Gigantic sandwich. So big I couldn’t even open my jaws wide enough to get a full bite in.
Pretty simple and rustic. Get a choice of bread. I had the wheat which was pillowy and soft. The turkey was fresh and meaty. The sandwich itself is loaded with sprouts, lettuce, avocado, cranberry sauce, cream cheese, and sunflower seeds.
The vegetarian sandwich looks awesome so tips for anyone who leans that way ;)
Don’t forget to grab a cookie of the day. Mine had white chocolate and cranberries! Yum!

We stumbled upon this place while searching Unilocal for food nearby. We are so glad we did! The menu is small — there are about 5 sandwiches and you can choose the items that will accompany your meat of choice. The have a variety of fresh baked bread. I thought it was interesting that they use cream cheese instead of mayo, it was great. We got the turkey and the roast beef sandwich… the horseradish on the RB was amazing!
THE SANDWICHES ARE HUGE. the biggest thing I have ever seen, I would definitely share one unless you are a competitive eater or you are really hungry. LIKE, HUGE.
Yummy place to stop for lunch!

I went here on a recommendation by one of the local shop owners. Thank you the sandwiches are fabulous!!! I went during peak lunch hour during the week and I guess the locals love it as much because big orders were being picked up and it was a bit of a wait. But well worth it. Don’t listen to the other reviews get over it the owner can run his business however he wants if your baby cries take it outside have manners. If he’s grumpy don’t go back your loss the food is amazing and the portions are huge share a sandwich unless you are starving or eat a lot.
I don’t think you can go wrong on anything on the menu!
