This place is not good but its not bad. The Phở is not match with the price. For the 9 $, I barely had 5 pieces of meat. The noodle is slightly overcook, and the broth is mediocre. The dipping sauce for the spring rolls/fried egg rolls is blended and almost no flavor. And the Vietnamese coffee, it had almost no flavor, too watery. The quality is not too bad for someone, who didn’t eat Phở so often. However, its not really good for someone who eat Phở frequently. Overall, it was mediocre, the service is on point and would not recommended.

OMG man, the food we ordered was amazing … from the spring rolls, to the rice with chicken meal and beef phở … amazing flavors!

If we could give out negative 5’s then we would. We were visiting Sedona and saw the good rating for this place on Unilocal’s, so we decided to give it a try. The one and only mistake of this whole entire trip was to eat here. No matter what this place claimed this is NOT a Vietnamese restaurant! I am an American-Vietnamese and I do cook and eat Vietnamese food. Their Ph was extremely disgustingly NOT Ph. We had eaten better Ph from a dry Ph package that we bought at Mekong Supermarket in Mesa. This place is not even a sad imitation of a Vietnamese food but an assault on the Vietnamese food palate.

They serve same menu as their Scottsdale restaurant where I go there for lunch often. We came here in a cold night, a hot noodle phở really hit the spot. Service was really good. The same person who took the order at the counter did the serving and cleaning up. It was pretty busy considering the restaurant was going to close in one hour. Tea light special includes two spring rolls and one summer roll, and it’s only $ 2 more than just a noodle soup. This option is available for dine in only. We also ordered boba drink. Unfortunately the type of tapioca they used became hard very quickly. When tapioca becomes that hard, it lose the texture and no longer taste good. Nice little place to come when you are hungry for hot noodle soup.

Big portion, great taste! Wasn’t expecting to eat well on our stop over in Sedona. It was especially good after a hike. We got the porkchop plate and they gave us two large pieces of pork.

My hair salon recommended this café. I had never heard of it. It was right nextdoor, so I gave it a try. The atmosphere is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and very casual. The menu is limited, which I find refreshing as it made it much easier to choose something. It helped that everything sounded and looked so good. I had the #3 Egg Rolls with Marinated Chicken. It arrived in a large bowl with a bed of rice noodles with lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, bean sprouts, cilantro and mint. There were chunks of egg roll on top. The best egg rolls I have had in a long time. On the side they provided an oil based dressing which was delicate and tasty. I heard another customer request fish sauce, and it was provided. This dish is also available with beef, pork or tofu instead. It was fantastic. Very fresh, delicious, nice presentation. I also had their iced green tea which was very good and refreshing. The staff was attentive and friendly. I have a new favorite on workdays. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

Over the Labor Day weekend, I visited Tea Light Café for a quick sit-down lunch on a Saturday afternoon. My friend and I were cruising through Sedona for a day trip and we stumbled upon this place as we arrived. I love the convenience of this location. This is what I say: if you’re visiting Sedona and are coming into town with your only nutrition being a breakfast eaten hours prior, it’s fantastic to have a lunch spot waiting as you get into town. My order: a Grilled Chicken Steamed Rice Plate, which I enjoyed thoroughly. There were plenty of veggies and the chicken was cooked just right. The rice was also fluffier than a down pillow. PS: the sauces really tied up this particular meal nicely. I definitely recommend Tea Light for a relatively quick and inexpensive midday meal, as well as an ideal eatery for those who veer on the side of health-conscious.

Our experience at Tea Light was overall good. We each ordered the Tea Light Special which included handsome portion of phở(smaller than the regular order, but a good amount still), 2 egg rolls, and 1 shrimp spring roll. The outdoor seating area was charming, and our server was very helpful and friendly. The bean sprouts were a bit brown and the beef was not of great quality. To have phở in Sedona, however, is a nice luxury!

Started pouring in Sedona and so started craving noodles, an Asian thing. Came over for Vietnamese noodles and pork chops. The soup was a bit salty and the pork was bit too sweet but this place satisfied our Asian fix. The staff were very friendly.

Location: it is only 5 minutes away from uptown sedona. The restaurant has approximately 5 tables in the inside and 3 – 4 small tables in the outside. It might be a bit hard to find, but I’ll never pass up a chance to try Asian food in Sedona. Service: you basically order your food and they deliver them to your table. The first few times when I was here, the owner was running the show. Now that this business is up and running, the entire place is ran by only one lady who takes the order, serve the tables as well as cleaning up after customers are gone. If the owner is reading this, I want you to know that she is a good worker and did a very good job while you aren’t gone. Food: I ordered the Beef phở and it was just OK. There aren’t too much beef in it and it has way too much onions in the broth(and I love green onions). The beef isn’t fresh and I was a bit disappointed. Nevertheless, the broth is very good. The green tea drink, however, is absolutely delicious. It has a strong green tea taste due to some powder they put in it. It is healthy and tasty. Rating: I always stop by here whenever I am in Sedona vacationing. I’ll continue to stop by here again and possibly try something else.

I was very skeptical of Tea Light Café due to it being the only one of its kind in Sedona as well as the fact that the two gentlemen working there were not Asian. However, my skepticism(and perhaps racism) was completely unfounded. I ordered the chicken bun/rice noodle bowl and was impressed with its use of very fresh ingredients, including cilantro and garlic. The egg roll, known as a spring roll in other Vietnamese restaurants, exhibited equally fresh ingredients. My only complaint was that the grilled chicken was overcooked, but the chicken did not detract from the overall taste of the dish. The Asian-run places in the New York City area really ought to be ashamed of themselves. Many of them do not even bother with fresh cilantro and garlic. Perhaps such places simply need to go back to the basics championed by Tea Light Café. If you are looking for a relatively less expensive meal in touristy Sedona that is not at a fast food restaurant or a deli, consider Tea Light. You will not be disappointed.

A small vietnamese café on the first floor of the shopping center, with both indoor and outdoor seating Foods tried –Chicken bun: the marinated chicken was flavorful and it came with lettuce, pickled carrots(very tart), cucumbers, and rice noodles. Above average for a bun –Taro boba: tasted very powdery and they were out of boba straws(what the heck?) so we had to drink it with a regular straw. The tapioca balls were well overcooked and mush! Would not recommend –Shrimp spring rolls: very little shrimp, mostly lettuce and herbs, the dipping sauce was VERY tasty. Average for spring rolls Overall a good option for a relatively cheap(for sedona) lunch or dinner and pretty healthy. Friendly service.
