I came here in 2007, and just visited again in 2013. This place has not changed. The Shops at Hyatt Piñón Pointe are extremely well maintained. The architecture is beautiful and has beautiful views 360 degrees around. Part of the reason why I love Sedona so much is how clean the town is and this complex is no exception. The shoppes has a wonderful(local) bakery, Starbucks, and a Coldstone. Aside from these three places, the rest of the shopping is probably aimed towards an older age group like the rest of Sedona.

Info booth was actually helpful. Yes they were offering sales tour for the Hyatt time share but there was no pressure. The concierge that helped us really went out of his way to find out our interests and pointed us to some great places to visit.

Cute place with over 20 shops and galleries in the area. If you want more information about Hyatt or the Sedona area, there is 2 information centers at both ends of the shopping center. The public bathrooms are clean. The women’s bathroom is located next to Cold stone’s Creamery. I enjoyed the artwork scattered throughout the shops. The galleries are fun to walk trough. This shopping area is located off the intersection of Highway 179 and 89A.

New, classy, prominent. Where just a few years ago stood a rock cliff at the Y, dynamite and earth movers have created a new Hyatt resort. The Y is now a four-way intersection, with the fourth way being the drive up to the resort and the shopping center. The shops overlook the cliff, above Highway 89A, with incredible views across Oak Creek. Some may object to the leveling of the hillside, and some may say that yet another shopping center, with yet another cluster of art galleries, is unnecessary. Especially if one takes into account the Coldstone Creamery and the Starbucks, a store which people here swore would never take a foothold. Times have changed. Consider the Bistro Bella Terra. Consider the art galleries themselves, which are as fine a quality as you would find anywhere else in town. Consider that the shopping center is itself a consumer of art. Consider, also, the Hyatt on the hill above. Reserve your judgment, until you’ve seen the shopping center for yourself.
