A nice, local coffeeshop just down the street from where we were staying. We just stopped by for some coffee and a bagel on our way to a hike. Their iced coffee was great and the lady behind the counter was polite. Would come back again!

As a semi-local(grew up in Flag, parents live in Sedona), this is my go-to coffee shop anytime I’m down in the red rocks. Kari(the owner) is phenomenal and friendly, and her staff of well-trained baristas will take care of even your most complicated order. Tucked away right off the main drive, Theia’s is a treasure for locals and tourists alike.

I dropped by this morning –on my way to Sedona area exploration– and was hoping to have a nice intro to the city on my first day in town. Coffee shops should be warm, quaint, quirky and inviting; this place has most of these elements and makes a decent latte. But I apparently stopped in at the wrong time and interrupted the barista in full flirtation mode with an out of town patron who was sitting at the bar. I thought the other guy had already ordered so I stood in front of the register. The barista then came around and just looked at me while the other out-of-towner stood up and queued behind me. Not knowing that he hadn’t yet ordered I offered to let him go ahead, but he smiled and said it was okay if I went first. So I placed my large latte order and paid the tourist-corridor price — and added 20% tip on the iPad POS. She then asked if it was for here, I smiled and asked for it «to-go». Then I waited. I waited while she and the gent continued the flirtation that I apparently had so rudely interrupted. I waited while he placed his order and got his drink first. I waited while they talked about heir work-out routines and discussed how happy they are that it’s warming up. Then I waited while they exchanged numbers via text message(to ensure that they had each other’s correct numbers) while they walked out to the parking area to «take a look» at the gent’s vehicle. Then the barista came back in and walked past me as she gave me an annoyed glance before making her way to the espresso machine to make my latte. A group of foreign tourists were coming in as she half-volume said«large latte» while setting my drink on the bar. No eye contact. No «sorry about the wait». Nothing. 15 minutes after ordering my latte I was on my way to check out beautiful Sedona. I wasn’t looking for ass-kissing customer service. And I wasn’t looking for«the best» coffee I’ve ever had. But a simple«hello», «thanks» or «sorry about the wait» would have gone a long way to make this coffee shop experience deserve more than my inaugural 1-star review. Congrats.

One of those special local places you don’t want to miss! Dark chocolate cherry lattes with almond milk on Valentine’s Day in Sedona — couldn’t be more perfect! And Karie, the owner, is delightful. Free wifi, quiet atmosphere, gorgeous view.

My favorite coffee shop in Sedona, probably in all of Arizona. Lovely soft and cushy chairs, wonderful views out the door and the best dark chocolate mocha I have ever had. This is what a Coffee House should be folks. One taste and you’ll swear never to haunt Starbucks again.

Incredible views of the Sedona canyon, cute ambiance with a live guitarist and an in house artist. The major downside for me was very thing that is supposed to make a successful coffee shop a a successful coffee shop… good coffee. Coffee was incredibly burnt and tasted like I was drinking it out of an ashtray. If you are looking for a solid cup of coffee in Sedona you won’t find it. Maybe wait until the next town. If you want a nice blueberry scone though it might be worth a visit.

Cute yet spacious coffee shop. So far, the best reviewed coffee shop in this area. I ordered a berry protein shake with coconut milk, hemp protein, and green superfood. It was delicious and made with real berries! There is a lot of parking in front. Two very nice female employees, as well! I would definite recommend this café!

Perhaps I didn’t see this place on its best day, as I’m not raving about it in the same way many others do. However, I do like the idea of the place. I like that it’s an independent coffee house with live music, interesting art, and a clear set of regulars who make up the ‘family’ here. I wasn’t as big a fan of the seeming uncertain of the people taking my order and making my drink. I also really didn’t like how much milk(actually half and half, as I ordered a breve) was in my coffee. I pretty much had a cup of half and half with a dash of coffee it seemed. It seemed I would’ve done better to order one of their speciality, flavored, sugar-laden drinks, which I don’t really drink. Kudos, nonetheless, for keeping the indie coffee shop alive!

Great coffee, I mean, so good! Unfortunately, I waited 38 minutes to get 4 drinks. Kind of a bummer:/

Nice quiet atmosphere. Air conditioning. Delicious coffee. Kid-friendly seating and toys. Pastries leave a lot to be desired, although we did arrive mid-day. I just really wanted a doughnut.

I came in on a rainy Sunday afternoon to relax with a cup of coffee while I read a book. This place provided the perfect atmosphere to accomplish my mission. I had a great caramel latte and sat in a comfy chair with a nice breeze coming through the door. The place was nice and peaceful, even as patrons came in and out. Will definitely come back next time I am in Sedona.

Trying to be a quaint local coffee shop, but again, service was painfully slow. It took the barista about 10 minutes to get 2 expressos and a cappuccino. Don’t get me wrong, the coffee was good and strong, but maybe I’m not used to the small town coffee house. And no I’m not a Starbucks junkie!

Came here earlier this morning for coffee and it was delicious. I got a cold brew & my dad got hot coffee, very high quality at great prices! The coffee gave me energy to hike Wilson mountain.(5 hours &10 miles later) I came back after my hike to get a recovery smoothie & it was the best decision! I got strawberry banana & my dad got chocolate protein. Both were amazing. The atmosphere is great and the owners & staff are super friendly and pleasant. Definitely coming back. Theias gets a perfect score from me I HIGHLY a recommend stopping by. The baked goods looked awesome too! Enjoy :)

I was chilled to the bone and needed something hot. I Unilocal’ed this place and it gave me walking directions to this non tourist trap off the beaten path Central Perk of Sedona coffee shop. I was in a bad mood as I kept sticking my head into places and I knew that is not why I travel. I wanted local and this hit it. They have couches and over stuffed chairs scattered about. Looks like your first apartment out of college. I checked out the menu and saw the king size hot chocolate. I am thinking it was 20oz, but don’t hold me to it. It was served in a coffee mug that I have only ever seen on Friends. Big! I was set for the rest of the day after that gobbler! Happy days and friendly faces! Yum!
