Stopped by for a quick peek after grabbing a cup of coffee and was surprised by their awesome selection of teas! So neat that they offer tea tastings in house as well. Wish I could have spent more time perusing the selection, but we were on a time schedule to get hiking. Prices seemed reasonable for what you get, can’t wait til I’m back in town to check it out again.

This is one of the best tea locations I have ever been to. The kindness and expertise is unparalleled, not to mention the great selection in tea.

Wow, I can’t believe I’m reviewing a tea shop in Sedona And it’s 5 stars! First off, this isn’t really a teahouse, rather more of a tea merchant. In other words, while I think I saw a table or two and a sign serving«matcha lattes,» the vast majority of the stock here are teas and tea accessories, for you to take home and make the tea there. They have a ton(hundreds) of different kinds of teas for all tastes and budgets. They have all kinds of fun flavored teas(like cactus iced tea) which make good, TSA-friendly souvenirs. They have a very cool Chinese/Taiwanese tea selection from the lightest chamomile and herby type teas to the darkest of the puers. They had those fun flower teas that bloom in hot water. They even had a selection of brick teas, which I was really surprised by, seeing as I was in the middle of the desert… What I REALLYLIKE about this place is that they will sell as little as an ounce of tea(«sampler size»), for even the pricier teas. This allows you to try lots of different teas without too much of a commitment. Also I appreciate that Trailhead doesn’t do excessive packaging, which in this day and age should be minimized at all costs. Everything comes in a heavy lightproof ziplock bag and you can ask for them not to be heat sealed so it’s easy to open and close the bag. Wish everyone did it that way. While they have a website, I think the best bet is to go to the shop, because it’s a small local type of operation, so that’s probably easier.

I am so pleased with the customer service at Trailhead Tea. I have a friend who lives in Sedona and I wanted to send her a special gift. I live out of state so I needed to find a local business that could help me with a gift for my friend. I called the store and spoke with Eileen. She was helpful in selecting the perfect items for my friend. She wrapped them up in a beautiful basket with a cute note and delivered it to my friend’s home. My friend was delighted with the special gift basket and I was so happy I could give a unique personal gift that can’t come from an Amazon shipment. Thank you Trailhead Tea!

Stopped here to have latte in middle of all the hikes. I loved their cold Jasmine tea latte. definitely worth a stop. There is a small creek that runs behind the the complex where you can sit and relax while sipping the tea!

We recently visited this tea shop during our first visit to Sedona. My wife and I are big loose leaf tea fans and found this shop on Unilocal. The husband/wife team that run this shop are very knowledgeable about tea and their shop has a huge selection of loose leaf teas, including black, oolong, green and white teas as well as herbal, rooibos and mate based teas. They also have a large selection of teaware to get filters, pitchers, mugs and other aids for making and consuming great tea. They offered us a free taste test of one of their black blended teas. You can purchase dry loose leaf tea to take home or you can get some made(steeped) and optionally iced to go. We found the owners very friendly and helpful. Prices seemed a little high but reasonable. If you are in Sedona and love tea, then we highly recommend this wonderful tea shop!

We spent an hour here trying different teas and talking to the staff. So friendly and knowledgeable! My favorites were White Roses for Donna, the Trailhead Mix, and the Mandarin Chamomile. Their tea make great gifts, especially for out of town guests like me. The prices are reasonable($ 11-$ 15 per bag) and they teach you how to brew the tea, the best temperature to brew, etc. After a long hike and a filling lunch, this was the perfect last stop in Sedona before coming back to Phoenix. If you have time, I would highly recommend stopping by for tea tastings & buying gifts.

Tea lovers stop here! There is a wide variety of teas for purchase. Loose leaf teas displayed in jars so you see and smell them. Fresh tea also served hot or cold. I recommend the Matcha Elixir; it is a beautiful mixture of matcha, rice milk, vanilla, cinnamon amd agave nectar. The shop is owned by a friendly couple who work there.

I have never been to this store personally since i live in ny. The only reason i heard of this place was because my coworker visited her family in az and visited this store. She bought the three sisters tea which is a beautiful blend of peach, ginger and orange. Ive drank tea from davids tea and teavanna but the qualify of this tea is magnificent. We drank this tea every afternoon and soon it was gone so i reordered the same tea from az. Dan, who i spoke to over the phone, was very pleasant. He also included free sample of raspberry tea which i thought was so nice. Wish i could one day go to az and browse their tea

Went in on a recommendation from a shopkeeper in town. I was looking for the cactus flower iced tea I had at the Frank Lloyd Wright home. I ordered it and was about to buy BAGS of it until I saw it was a different color than what i had tasted before. The sales person was very accomidating, giving me a taste of another I might like better. WOW, she cancelled my purchase, and helped me with my new found favorite! She was so pleasant and helpful. Their inventory is excepyional! I was on vacation, but she promised they would send me refills at any time. Six bags of loose teas, my own fillable tea bags later and a gift, I left. From what I hear, prickly pear is pretty much an AZ thing. Will check it out Boulder, CO !

This is a cute little tea shop that we stumbled upon after a meal at Creekside! They had soooo many loose leaf teas in containers so that you could smell each flavor before purchase, and they even offered really good sized samples of the teas, just in case you need that extra push before you purchase! Tip: the Sedona Wedding(chocolate covered strawberry) was by far my favorite. They also sell kombucha, but maybe skip this purchase, because it’s half the price down the street at the grocery store(though if crunched for time, it is definitely a better deal than you’ll find at any of the restaurants in the area!).

After lunch at a nearby restaurant, my husband and I stopped here to check them out. Upon entering the shop, we were greeted by the two employees. Both employees were helpful and friendly with recommendations. They asked what type of tea I normally drink or if I had a taste preference and then were able to direct me to the section of teas that might suit my taste. Teas are broken into green, black, and white. Every tea has a small jar in which you can open and smell the contents. There were what seemed like hundreds of different teas but realistically had to be around 50 or so. We smelled every single one. After much debate, we decided on a slightly fruity black tea. It was a good choice(we’ve tried it at home since purchase). If I’m in the area again, I’d definitely stop by and pick up another bag or try another flavor.

Trailhead Tea is such a great shop. They have hundreds of teas, pretty much any type you could ever think of. I was in Sedona for a week and kept coming back here almost daily — such a little piece of heaven for tea lovers like myself! Can’t wait to come back.

Trailhead tea isn’t just a store. It’s an experience. The owners have a passion for the finely steeped leaves and it shows in every high quality, specially picked product in their store. Black, green, white, yellow, oolong, blended, herbal, puer… and the list goes on. Virtually every type of tea you could want can be procured here. Upon talking to one of the owners, it was amazing to take in the depth of knowledge about the different teas and how to brew the perfect cup. Both the owners were extremely gracious and were kind enough to let us sample a few of their lovely oolong teas, letting us try a first and then second brew. I’ll definitely be frequenting this store again to feed my tea addiction!

My friend and I were hanging out in Sedona last weekend. She is a tea lover and Unilocal leads us to this awesome tea store in nearby uptown area. I drove by this place at least 20+ times and I am so upset at myself for not finding this place sooner. While most people enjoys wine tasting, I don’t get to enjoy it myself since I am not a wine drinker. Now I CAN! This place allows u to do tea tasting at a reasonable costs depending on the types of tea that you want to try out. If you do plan on buying their products, they might even let you do tea tasting for free(3 different flavor max). When we first walked in, the owner spent time explaining different ways to enjoy and brew tea without giving us any kind of attitude. It is obvious to me that he loves what he sells and certainly knows a lot about it. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 star is because of the cost of their tea accessories. I’ve seen similar products at much cheaper costs elsewhere. It is understandable due to its location. I’ll definitely come back here again for tea tasting.
