Everything in my heart tells me that I should hate Coconut Kenny’s, but damn if I don’t love me a King Mahalo when I am feeling like eating some good ol fashioned junk food. I had a taco pizza there once and it was ok, but their sandwiches on the Hawaiian bread are my fav. If you want to eat some tasty toasted sammys, Kenny’s is the place.

Such a great menu to decide from. They have multiple locations around skagit and whatcom county. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a change of scenery and some nice food.

Food is really good and prices are fair. Good place to grab a beer and some pizza or take the family for dinner!

They have vegetarian options! I’m trying the taco pizza next time. However, service is slow.

Fun atmosphere good food. The pizzas here are the kind that are heavily loaded. We’ve never had a combo that we didn’t like. The sandwhiches are great and creative. Big portions, so I’m happy that they offer half size orders. The wings are nothing special though. Can be skipped. The cheesy balls are nothing gourmet amazing, but they are delicious in there simplicity.. Good family place where kids are welcome. Casual. order your food at the counter and they bring it out to you. The service can be hit and miss since it’s usually students, but I like that they hire local kids and we’ve never had all out rudness.

What is it about this place that some people like so damn much? The food is Meh. The Pizza is Meh. The prices are WTF! Seriously though if you haven’t found a sandwich anywhere else that is of similar or better quality then you are a damn shut in. If you haven’t had better pizza then you also have not tried as you can get better food in any other over priced hipster/trendy cookie cutter establishment. I mean come on, BJ’s Restaurant & Brew House has better pizza and their 15min of fame ended an hour ago. The sandwichs are OK but it is as if they are just trying too hard. The meat is salty as hell, things have seasoning added to them and I’d question if MSG wasn’t added as well. It is simply quantity over quality. Go find a local Pub if you need a sandwich, not this place. If you need a pizza, well to be honest they can’t even get that much right. It is a bad cliché glued to another bad cliché and they pass it off as some sort of «fusion» that would likely just piss off both Italians and Hawaiians as the food is actually representative of neither. The service is so hit or miss it is like the Tony Romo of the Service Industry. I guess the owners could have done worse. It isn’t like they made a Habib’s Kabob & Bagels. Which ironically does actually exist in Maryland.

You will not be disappointed with this place! We were in town for the night on our way thru and didn’. know where to eat. So after scanning Unilocal we decided to give this place a try, and we’re not disappointed. We called in an order to take back to our hotel, since I wasn’t up to gracing their presence with our 5 hungry, grumpy children under 8. We got a large Waikiki and a gluten free Hawaiian for my wife and son. The Waikiki was amazing! But even more so, my wife could not get enough of the gluten free option. She said it was by far the best she has ever had, and with pizza being an important part of our family routine, we have tried a lot of them!

Ordered food for take out. Firstly the guy on the phone… Rude…I almost didn’t even want to go pick up my food. I went anyways. Their was a super sweet wonderful little blonde who helped me. So so nice and helpful. The guys in the back looked like they hate their jobs, slamming stuff in the back and I was so glad they weren’t helping me. I got home and started with my side salad. And a bug came crawling out. It was a little fly. Okay. Could have been my car. I just kinda ignored it and went on eating my salad. The honey mustard was truly tasty but then I have a little black curly hair in my food and I could tell you which guy in the back made my salad. *sigh* didn’t eat it anymore. This does seem to happen to me. Maybe I should stop examining my food but their is a reason! I also ordered the White Pizza and added pineapple. The pizza was very good. Very filling. Very cheesy. Lots of toppings. My boyfriend had the king Mahalo. He really liked it. Found no bugs or hairs. I’m giving it a two star not necessarily cause of the hair but because the guy with the attitude. Made me uncomfortable.

OMG I love this place! Best sandwiches ever(King Mahalo and North Shore are my personal fav’s) but everything else is really great too(cheeseballs and pizza). I really like the new beers that Anacortes brewery is brewing specially for them also. The one with pineapple in it screams sunshine and is delish!

Best pizza in Skagit County… Whatcom too! We started eating here in Bellingham and then were fortunate enough to get a CK in Woolley. The sandwiches are great… Take half home. Atmosphere, cleanliness, and service are A plus. Just visited Burlington and throwing an event there… everyone will love the food. This is always on our«to go to» list.

My husband and I were on our way to camp and stopped in downtown S-W. I was craving pizza and whattya know — a pizza joint right in town. I have to say I was sketched out walking into Coconut Kenny’s. The tacky«hawaiian» themed décor… and don’t even get me started on pineapple and pizza… But the pizza here is REALLYREALLYGOOD. Nothing was really jumping out at me with the specialty pizzas, so we ordered a Large pizza with bacon, mushrooms and olives. Simple and amazing. I feel like the pizza was pretty thick, but not bready at all. There wasn’t really a crust, or maybe there was but it was the same thickness as the rest of the pizza? It was slightly burnt and cheesy, but I feel like that doesn’t really do it justice. The ratio of bread to toppings was perfect. Great flavor. I am just in love with this pizza and so was my hubby. Service was great. Clean restaurant. Good beer + good food = happiness. Defnitely stop on in if you’re in the area.

Hawaiian Meets Italian This is a Hawaiian themed pizza place. Overall it was nice. You seat yourself and have to go to the counter to order your food which they bring to your table. Our salads were the normal salads – nothing special for a salad that was a bit pricey. They have a small selection of beer on draft. The pizza was very good with fresh ingredients, although ours would have been better with more sauce. The crust was nice and crispy, but not too crispy. I wasn’t a fan of the cheese balls nor did I care for the cinnamon balls. The latter were too dry and tasted strangely. The servers were nice and we enjoyed the country music – no hip hop.

Insert understatement here: «The best sandwich I have ever consumed.» Da King Mahola is a whole lot of lovin’ on a plate. I’m having a pavlovian response as I write this.

Complex in flavor while keeping ingredients simple and delicious both when described on the menu and when it arrives. I’ve lived nearby this restaurant for 5 years and only just ate here… it’s tragic that I’d not gone sooner and been eating here all along. Amazing food; I’ll be going there often. –take out was quick and no errors –our first order included nachos, cheesey bread ballz, 2 sandwiches. –sandwich as good or better next day

Stopped by here on a snowy Saturday evening after a day of shopping in My Vernon, cause we heard the food was worth it. Not too crowded for a Saturday evening dine in, but they were doing a booming takeout business. Anyway, ordered the Spicy Hawaiian pizza, and a half order of cheese balls. Usually, I can down a half a pizza, but after the cheese balls(delish), I was held to 2 pieces. Very cheesy pizza with a delicious crunchy crust. It was good. Sandwiches also looked very good. Next time. Can’t wait for them to open in Burlington, so we don’t have to drive so far next time. Great place for a group pigout.

Stopped here on the way back from Winthrop over the weekend and although the town was completely deserted(like scary deserted), Coconut Kenny’s seemed like the best option. As soon as I saw that there was a pizza sandwich, I knew I had to order it. A PIZZASANDWICHYOUGUYS! Not a calzone. A pizza between 2 slices of Hawaiian bread. Umm, it was definitely more than I could handle, but that first half was honestly quite good. Got a pizza craving? Check. Got a sandwich craving? Check. Dunzo.

Loved the Hawaiian theme(since we were married in Hawaii!). I had the Da King Mahalo sandwich and loved it. Husband had the Da Hang 10 sandwich and totally enjoyed the meatballs. The bread is to die for! Next time we would add jalapenos to add a little kick to our meal and only order HALF sizes ~ the sandwiches are huge. It was nice to pay under $ 4 for a full glass of wine. We also decided on dessert, Cinnamon Balls, made from more Hawaiian bread ~ yummy! Food arrived quick and servers were friendly. Will definitely go back. Can’t wait to try the pizza next time!

The food is very yummy here. I highly recommend the Cheesy Balls(made with Hawaiian bread!). The meatballs are good appetizers as well. I also ordered Da King Mahalo sandwich(ordered the half sandwich, which was still a big portion), which was very good. To round out the meal, we got the Cinnamon Balls(Hawaiian bread covered in sugar and cinnamon and a few scoops of ice cream). The servers were very friendly. Just keep in mind, the servers don’t come to the table to take your order, you need to go up to the booth to order food and drinks. We ate here on a Saturday afternoon so there wasn’t a huge crowd of people but the place looked big enough and there were lots of tables. The décor is very Hawaiian with thatched roof/tiki huts type atmosphere. A very fun and casual place to eat some great food!
