As far as discount stores this place is great. It has cheap cheap cheap stuff. And it seems to always change what they carry. You never know what your going to find there. It’s great for stocking stuffers. Only reason they do not get five stars is service related. I had wandered around for a while looking for someone who ask a price. Thad a problem in itself. A lot of things have no prices on it. How can I buy it if I can’t tell how much it is? So besides that item I did end getting a lot of cool stuff. Worth checking out. Oh yeah and they have cheap furniture too which is great if you have messy kids or destructive pets.

They don’t have much in this big store. Every time I come here I always wonder why. I seldom find what I need. However, when I DO find what I need, the product is usually cheap, but durable. I like that. They have nice bedding and bathroom and kitchen stuff!

I discovered Big Lot’s years ago when we had one in my area, but it only lasted about 2 years until they closed, then I discovered this one. They moved to their current location about a year or two ago, and its so nice. The store isn’t overcrowded with furniture(but has a good selection) and its always neat and clean, the employees are friendly and personable and they have a great selection of holiday items, tons of summer items, groceries, electronics and whatever else you may be looking for. Its like an upscale Ocean State Job Lot(anything is, but that’s besides the point!) I went in there today to kill a little time after getting a haircut next door, and for the first time ever got out of there for less than $ 10. tons of DVD’s for around $ 3 and the blue-ray DVD’s were $ 5, decent selection for the price too. I’ve done great here with cooking and baking supplies, I once found a cookie scoop for $ 3, same one sold in an upscale cooking store for $ 15. I’d recommend this store to anyone who loves bargains!

I used to practically live at Ocean State Job Lot. Then I found Big Lots and it was all over. This particular location recently moved to a new building, within the same plaza and I’m glad they did. The new store is MUCH cleaner and much more organized. If you’re looking for reasonably price quality furniture/mattresses, you should most definitely check out Big Lots. They carry just about everything you can imagine from art supplies to home decorating items, furniture, cleaning products, canned/boxed food items, personal care items, pet items, electronics, etc. The prices are so cheap! I can easily go in here looking for one thing and walk about having spend $ 50!

I’ll tell you what, if you’re looking for brand-name furniture sets, this is the place to go. They have a pretty huge section with recliners and living room sets in microsuede and leather. Other than that, it doesn’t have a giant selection of homegoods, but what they have is all cheaply priced and sometimes you can find some pretty neat stuff.

I wish one of these were in the area! Stopped by because I had to go to Circuit City. This place has $ 2 – 3 DVDs(good stuff!) and lot of cheap food and stuff. Considerably less DVDs were there compared to when I went a few months ago, but still a good selection. If you’re an animé fan, a lot of single-volume DVDs end up here, too.
