I’ve been to this Gamestop for over 10 years now, and one of my biggest praise is that the staff truly care about games and are willing to help you find the one game/​system that caters to your needs. On the downside, it is the only Gamestop near area, so their selections of new and used games are really limited. That being said, if they don’t have it, they’ll find a store nearby and point you in the right direction.

I love this Gamestop. It has been my franchise outlet of choice since moving to the area in 2008. Great location, enough room to move around, and staff that always wants to chat about games and consoles. I get great advice here, they readily present you with deals and tips, and I never leave disappointed. Great stock, and if they don’t have something they will be happy to help you track it down.

I’ve been here over 5 times, and every time I have the staff seems absolutely miserable. They’re either complaining, making jabs at people who «liked so and so game, that’s so yesterday» (so to speak), or just walking around looking like miserable orges. There’s only one friendly person I’ve dealt with there, and I use «friendly» loosely– meaning I actually got a hint of a smile.
If you’re going in there because you know what you want and you can grab it and go, then fine. But if you’re looking for customer service without getting the «Are you freggin kidding me?» angry stare the whole time, save your money and hope down to Providence Place or better yet, South Attleboro. The people who work at the South Atty. store are insanely friendly and helpful.
