Despite having fairly cheap gas (though the Gulf station 2 seconds down the road has cheaper), this is one of the worst car servicing stations I’ve ever experienced. They offer $ 20 oil changes, and they barely do $ 20 worth of service. TWICE I’ve had problems with them
The first time, they never reset the oil life display, which caused the oil life to read 50% despite being at 100%. Not knowing how to reset it myself (it wasn’t my job to do so anyway) it went to 0% and I had a check engine light until my next oil change. Admittedly, this is not a huge problem, and not big enough to discourage me from going again.
The second time THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE OIL CAP BACK ON! I drove for a week with no oil cap, not knowing oil was splashing about all over my engine. The car stunk of oil for a week and until I finally figured out what the problem was, I had been driving with no oil in the car. Luckily Herb Chambers of Seekonk took care of all the damage for a minimal cost.
I’m not astute when it comes to cars, but I am when it comes to service. These folks maybe nice fellas outside of this Shell, but to me they are lazy, incompetent, and uncaring for their customers. Never again!

I’ve gotten my auto inspection here for the last five years and I won’t go anywhere else. They’re fast, friendly, and they never try to sell me anything. The guy who did my inspection last night told me «see you next year» and you know what, he’s right!

Staying overnight in Seekonk while on a road trip through the Northeastern US. Parked my car to check in to my motel and came back out to discover the car wouldn’t start. Fortunately this Shell station was just across the street. Went in early on Sunday morning to see what could be done and had the great luck to be helped by George. He sold me a new battery and installed it. Very helpful and got it all done quickly even though he was working alone. Great service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
