Hampton Inn

We stayed at this hotel while visiting the Florida State Fair and this is one of the best Hampton Inn’s I’ve come across recently. We arrived almost at 10pm and Gio at the front desk was friendly, courteous and immediately took care of our check in. The lobby was spacious, clean and looked new and modern.
The room was comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. We had two queen size beds and I found these beds to be extremely comfortable. Our room had a large Samsung flat screen along with a microwave and mini fridge. The hotel offers a small outdoor pool but it was too cold outside to enjoy it.
This HI is located in Seffner which is practically in Tampa. It’s only about 5 minutes from the casino and the fairgrounds and the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to and from the casino. Some reviewers have mentioned that the neighborhood is not so good and I completely disagree. It’s right off I-​4 and I found the surroundings to be safe, there’s nothing to indicate otherwise. There is a Bob Evans right next door in case you get hungry. The hotel offers free breakfast from 6am to 10pm for guests and even though the quality isn’t the best, it’s included in the price you pay for the room which for me is a plus. I will definitely consider this hotel on my next trip to Tampa.

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn on a number of occasions and so far, it’s been just great each time. Check– in is lightning fast and no hassle whatsoever.
My visit is usually linked to visiting the Hard Rock Casino in the area and this Hampton is a short 5 minute drive away AND runs hourly shuttles, for maximum convenience.
The staff is very friendly and personable, including the general manager, who, at one point, picked me up at the casino in person, so as to not call in a driver for just one pickup at 11 pm. Very nice service!
Now, if this Hampton wants 5 stars from me, I’d like to request the following;
1. Add a spa/​hot tub in your pool area.
2. Make the shuttle a 24 hour deal. Unfortunately, as it is, it only runs until 11 pm and after that, you need to take a taxi to get back.
All in all: I LOVE this Hampton Inn! Thank you for a great stay, over and over again. A+++++

DO NOT STAY AT THIS Hilton property!!! Area is poor, quality of rooms poor and the Management staff is worse! Their satisfaction agreement is enforced after basically begging. I’m a loyal Hilton Honors Associate that will NEVER stay at this property again.
