No refunds says the sign on the counter. I stayed 4 nights and had I known beforehand… Upon entering the back door near my room, I was assaulted with horrendous cigarette smoke. It was disgusting! I sprayed my room with lavender scent so the horrible smelling hallway wouldn’t permeate my room. In my room, there was a red high wing-back chair that had a 4″ slit and the arms were black with dirt. The whole chair was dirty but the arms were the worst. I told Andrew and he wanted me to put something over it and still sit in it. Um… no. I told him it should go in the trash. Disgusting! When I got back from work, the chair was gone. The only saving grace was the bed. The sheets were silky soft and the pillows fluffy. The window looks out over a small grassy area with a palm tree and the Shell station. The tv didn’t work, so Andrew was called to fix it. There was 1 channel that didn’t come in and he told me he would bring a different tv the next day. No tv showed up. Breakfast is a joke. No fruit, no yogurt, no eggs; cereal and pancakes only. My 2nd night… found a cockroach next to my bathmat on the bathroom floor, took a picture of it, and brought it to Andrew’s attention. He laughed! He couldn’t stop laughing. He blamed other guests, the ‘old’ hotel, the restaurants nearby, etc. And do you know what he did with that cockroach? Absolutely nothing! He left it on the bathroom floor! He told me I could sleep in another bed and leave my stuff in the room with the cockroach. All my stuff comes with me, I said. And so I changed rooms. I was flabbergasted that Andrew took this so lightly and didn’t remove that roach. If you think you’re going to be safe here, think again. On my last night, I noticed the back door was left open. I figured someone was moving in as Andrew had instructed me to keep the back door open while moving my stuff in. This morning the door was still open. Just makes you wonder how really safe you are in this hotel.

I make quite a few trips during summer to the Fresno area(but outside Fresno city). I walked into this Super 8 Motel this past Monday evening without prior reservation needing to stay 1 night. I asked the nice gentleman at the front desk if i could see a room before checking in and he readily agreed. He ended up walking me to my room after i did check in, making double sure the ac was working properly and that everything in the room was good order. While not exactly cheap($ 63.00 something/night), it is still abt. $ 30.00/night cheaper then the other place down the road. This is a really nice Super 8 Motel. The people — both front desk staff on checking in in the evening as mentioned and checking out in the morning — are very nice and helpful. This is an older Motel, so rooms are somewhat dated. Absolutely okay considering rooms are super clean. Also, my room had a refrigerator, iron and ironing board, coffee maker with coffee packs, good quality towels and soaps and free WiFi, TV with HBO etc. channels. Obviously the Owners have made every effort to think of and take care of any traveler’s needs. I stayed just 1 night — but based on the amenities provided, would be comfortable for a multi-day stay. Good selection of breakfast food(several cereals/yoghurt/waffles/cinnamon rolls/toast/coffee/juices) in the morning. Suggestion: Can somebody please add a few hard boiled eggs to breakfast for people who don’t like sweet stuff! I’ll glady pay $ 2.00/more per night. Thank you. I would/will certainly stay here again.

Normal super 8, wasn’t necessarily cheap either But I left my iphone in the room and the staff was nice enough to return it to me after i sent them a pre-paid envelope. So thanks, … Normal super 8 quality. Great Staff!

It is in a fairly quiet location and the rooms are clean. The staff is nice and the price was good, especially since they gave me the weekday rate even on the weekend since I stayed three nights. Only thing weird was that the peephole in the door of my room was missing so there was just a hole in the door. Since I was there by myself and not with my lady, I didn’t really mind. I just shoved some paper in it and with the configuration of my room they really couldn’t see anything anyways. It was a plus that there was a refrigerator and microwave and the continental breakfast was handy. Good waffles! I would not hesitate to stay there in the future.
