Nate, the cashier in electronics was superb! He was able to answer our questions, knew of all deals that were active, up-sold a video game and kept his composure on an extremely hectic day. Such a great experience!

This is my daughters favorite place! We take her here when she has been a super good girl and she gets to pick out a toy. Whenever we have been shopping here they have always asked us if we need help. When we have had questions about anything they have been very helpful. The store appearance is good too. I have seen other toys r us that are pretty messy but this one frequently has associates tidying up. They are all very friendly and always have a smile on their face. I really appreciate seeing that because I want my daughter to shop in a happy environment.

This store just gets under my skin like no other. I can literally call this store to find a product and be on the phone for over 15MINUTES!!! Literally! After waiting that long you would think someone would answer, right? Wrong, I have to hang up and call back, hoping someone might finally pick up. Second time… let’s see, Im going on 13MINUTES47SECONDS!!! I have been inside this store a handful of times and I now remember how I actually set my items down and walked out because customer service seems to be too difficult for this group. BEYONDIRRITATED!

I am a happy new nana to a beautiful baby girl. I am shocked and appalled at how dirty and unsafe the nursing room is at this location. I do not know if they are all like this, this is the only one I have seen. There were dust balls in every corner, the rocking chairs were stained and dirty but most of all, they wobbled so bad I feel they were unstable. It felt like they were both ready to fall apart. They needed cleaned and tightened up or replaced.(I would prefer replaced for safeness.) I am very disappointed that this room was so unacceptable to me that we ended up going to the car to change and feed the baby. I don’t want to get on my soap box but… I feel this is another example of corporate greed, turning their backs on the customer and not recognizing the need to spend a couple of hundred dollars to make this room comfortable. I can go to Walmart and get the same thing, for less. We thought babys r us would be pleasant and a step up from Walmart so I was initially open to paying a little premium but I will not be duped again into going to this retailer. The arms were wobbly on the chair and wobbled back and forth, felt like it was going to fall to pieces. The floors were filthy. The dirt on the fllor was everywhere but real bad in the corners, the stained furtniture, the neglected box of… what? empty! Nothing was in it. It was a disgrace and it made me sad.

Sadly, I understand why this TRU has to do the things they do. They’re in The Forum, they have to put up with a lot and the rest of us suffer for it. Talk about draining the fun from toy shopping — you get carded when buying video games, lots of the inventory is short(or not on the shelf), and the check out system is a mad-cap free for all. But this is what it takes to do business in The Forum. I can only imagine how much shoplifting and shenanigans they must put up with. So God speed to them, soldier on.

I have two young boys and sometimes, its required that they be allowed to run around and touch and play with things. For this reason, we come to this Toys R Us. One of my close friends from a long time ago actually works here as a Supervisor though we hardly ever see him. All in all this place is great. We let our little boys run, touch and play iwth stuff and we, unlike most parents, require our kids to put things back where they belong and clean up after themselves before we move on to play with something else. The staff is extremely helpful and is always poking their head in to see if we need anything. Their prices leave a little to be desired but hey, for the overall experience its not that much more expensive. How many other stores would you feel comfortable allowing your kids to run around at ages 2 and 4? For me that list is extremely short but Toys R Us is at the top!

This review is done by proxy for my friend who lives in San Antonio. This is a bad customer service experience. She had a newborn, and purchased a bottle of gas drops for her baby. The solution was no good, and she needed to take it back. The store initially refused her return on the basis that she was returning it ‘close to the 90 day limit’ even though it was less than 90 days. She spent considerable time explaining the flawed logic of this. Eventually, they accommodated her return, however, they never seemed concerned that they were selling a sub-standard product. The store otherwise, is what you would imagine from Babies R’ Us. Beware that Babies R’ Us is overpriced in general.
