Charlie’s Restaurant

went in for lunch and sat for over an hour waiting for our food. unless you have alot of time to spare I would not recommend going here.

I was driving long-​distance through the snow and ice until I reached Charlie’s. Dehydrated, dog-​tired, I was about the only person in the restaurant close to closing time. The waitress who was holding down the fort kept refilling my water while I stretched out in the booth. The food was simple but delicious and for a moderately-​priced brisket sandwich, very ample. I will probably never pass through Seminole again, but if I do, I will visit Charlie’s.

From CO, no doubt this was the best meal I found in Seminole. Way above average ribeye and baked potato. Will visit again if ever in Seminole.

So, I dined here on The evening of January 15^th. I’ll say it’s okay or perhaps a little better than okay. The food was good, not great.
All things considered, the service was actually pretty good. Now then, what I mean by that is the place was very busy and there was just 1 waitress for the entire restaurant. Absolutely unacceptable! Where was the manager? Of course she was running her butt off and doing pretty good taking care of everybody considering.
I made a comment to her when I was checking out that «they need to get you some help», and she replied that they try but people keep quitting. Obviously it’s not her fault, it’s managements! Well she was an absolute trooper taking care of everybody that was in there by herself!
I would also add that as a whole the restaurant is pretty rundown looking… and also, the restroom is off to the side at the entrance and also not very well-​maintained or even heated for that matter.
In closing, I may or may not eat there again, but they really need to get that poor gal some help!
