Publix Super Markets

Clean store, and lots of helpful and outgoing employees. They must have a great training program for their staff. Teenage kids seem to be everywhere, and they are delightful – really interested in doing a good job, which is nice to see. Excellent wine selection, good prepared foods. Would really like it if the produce were more reasonably-​priced.

The best grocery store on the planet!
ALDI, Trader Joes, Whole Foods: you all tried very hard. But none of you can sway my love for the big P-​U-​B-​L-​I-​X.
Publix, you never fail to impress me when I enter your stores. Nothing beats a nice, quiet, reasonably refrigerated store (I’m talking you Walmart). The stores are always incredibly clean and pleasant.
The first work of art you’ll see to the left is the tea case. Publix makes their own brand of tea and it is amazing! It’s the only sweet tea that I like (other than the family recipe, of course). Next to that is the deli and sub area. The deli employees are so friendly and some even remember regulars’ (like me!) orders. The subs are awesome. Where else can I get chicken nuggets on a sub! Similarly, their fried chicken here is amazing. Definitely my favorite!
The bakery makes some pretty tasty treats and the produce is always fresh. Meats are of good quality, and the seafood here is good and there are frequently sales.
Now, the moment y’all have been waiting for… BOGO!!! Definitely the best thing about Publix. The only bad thing is that you have to buy two items (Publixes…Publi? in Georgia simply charge you half price, so if you only want one, you don’t have to pay full price). But these are still awesome deals. For example, I got four bottles of contact lens solution for $ 6, with an attached coupon and BOGO!!! Usually, this solution (Revitalens) sells for $ 9 a bottle.
There are also tons of two-​for-​however much throughout the store. Luckily, you can buy one to get the deal.
When you check out, you’ll find friendly workers sporting their signature green vests. The separate baggers make everything fast (cough cough Walmart and Target). They always offer to take your bags out and load your car for you, but who needs that? It is a nice gesture however.
I never thought I would write a review this long on a grocery store, but I think it’s warranted. I love you Publix!!!

The deli at this store is way too busy and always understaffed and crowded (why is it so small?) many times they are out of items in the hot foods area as well because they don’t have enough workers. Highly recommended that you order ahead online so your orders ready when you get there save yourself the wait.

Love this store. Always clean and very friendly service. Sushi is always delicious. Sandwiches good too. Really a nice Public.

I am a regular customer at this Publix. It is always clean and the employees are very friendly. I am writing this review to highlight the bakery, specifically Julie.
My sons Confirmation was approaching and I did not have a cake ordered. I had photos of what I had in mind and it was elaborate. Julie, having owned her own business’s for many years, knew what my expectations were and that they were very high as this occasion was one of the most special occasions of my sons childhood. The bakery did have a large amount of fondant, which was the icing for all the cakes I selected. They also did not carry the gold dusting I wanted for the edging. There was not enough time to order it either.
Julie had her assistant call to other Publix stores and go collect all the fondant she could get her hands on & she brought the gold dusting from home. When I picked up the cake I started to cry. It superseded my expectations. I highly recommend Julie for all your baking needs! She will NOT let you down!

Your typical Publix. Which means it’s AMAZING! They have a liquor store connected to the building that’s pretty good too. Never had anything but great service and selection here.

I LOVE publix markets! I wish there were some in Maryland or elsewhere on the east coast, but so far i’ve only seen them in Florida. Good prices, great quality of food, and they always have coupons!
