Wolffy’s Grill & Marina

This place had such an amazing view !! I tried several dishes and everything was excellent.

Good food in a beautiful setting!
We (husband and I) were here for lunch a couple of weeks ago. Took a drive to the Finger Lakes from Syracuse on the last Sunday of the summer. We settled on this little roadside grill on the basis of other Unilocalers comments. It did not disappoint. The day was a little cool with a stiff breeze but the sun was hot — so we ate out on the deck. With a stunning view of the lake.
The staff was great — our server was very friendly and well trained we learned at the Johnson and Wales University program in culinary arts. So you can expect professional and solid service here. The good was great — I had the half rack of ribs which were perfectly done. They are done St Louis style with a dry rub — great (I know it is heresy but better than Dinosaur). The pulled pork sandwich was perfect. The fries also great. The beers were local. So it had the whole package.

We had our first visit here, and we loved it !! We both had crab legs, and onion rings, fries. The crab legs were the best we have ever had ! The fries tasted like they were fresh cut, and the rings were great too .
The view from deck was spectacular!

This place is AWESOME!!! We came at 3:45 on a Wednesday afternoon, and had the entire outdoor deck to ourselves. It really feels like vacation, listening to Margaritaville radio, and slurping down seriously THE BEST wings we have had in the country. And we travel. A lot. Get the medium sauce, or even better, Wolffy’s signature. They were so good, we wouldn’t let our awesome server take the plate, so we could dip out fries in the leftovers! We only had water, because we’d been out wine tasting, but if we are ever in the area again, we’ll be back! PS. And if you have a boat, you can pull up to the docks and park!

I am always a sucker for scenic dining experiences. With Wolffy’s having a deck that looks out Lake Cayuga, they are already a winner in my book even before I made it there. And the pictures are not lying, the view was great!
We came in for lunch after what was apparently a rainy morning (we were just passing through Seneca Falls during a road trip). But the staff were very accommodating when I indicated we would really love to have lunch by the water. They dried a table for us gladly and we never received hostile vibes from them.
We ordered the broiled fresh haddock fillet, pasta primavera, grilled pork chop, garlic shrimp, and open-​faced sirloin sandwich. The food was plentiful and quite good. My only complaints are that they could add a little bit more salt on the fish and that their vegetable sides could be crispier. But I have been raised to think that I can always add salt to food but I can never take salt out. It is not the cheapest but they will not break the bank, either.
Wolffy’s is a must-​stop if you were in the Seneca Falls area.

Service and food were terrific. The weather was perfect and sitting on the deck was special. Jessica was a great waitress.
