If I wasn’t comparing to San Diego Mexican food, this place might have gotten more stars. As it is, it’s realy more 2 and a half on tastiness of the food. The food was pretty good, service was great, ginourmous margaritas had a little bit of a bitter taste(clearly not fresh-squeezed lime juice), but decently strong. Others mentioned the lighting was a bit like a Subway and I guess that’s true, but it did not detract from our enjoyment.

When this place opened about a year ago, I thought their Mexican food was as good as any I’ve ever had. Our last two visits weren’t as good, but nonetheless enjoyable. Not sure what changed, but in our early visits the sauces seemed complex and balanced. The picadillo filling was still extremely good. The service has always been friendly and enthusiastic. They sell a very reasonably priced happy hour margarita… the higher priced ones are worth the extra cost.

THE most legit mexican food in Sequim, after staying here for a month or so for work and eating out almost every night. Very nice and clean too, although the décor is a bit strange haha. Baja cantina is good, but this is slightly better.

This is the best mexican food ever! We were so sad when they left silverdale, we had no idea where they went! We were at the Sequim Relay for Life and found them! They remembered us from how many times we go in. The employees are so nice and wonderful. Definitely recommend this place!

Hands, down-best Mexican food in Sequim. Great service, our server remembered how I like my carne asada tacos and the staff is all very nice. My husband maintains that the chile rellenos are the best he’s tasted and he’s ordered them all over Silicon Valley, CA where we just moved from. I would definitely go back, the menu was quite diverse.

Ate here yesterday after work. Their Polo al a Crema is the best I’ve ever had!!! Server was great and the inside of the restaurant was cute. I love the colors they chose for their walls.

Wow! Really surprised at how good this place is. Don’t let the location or décor fool you. The mole was delish as was the sangria!

Wow, I have to agree with other reviewers. This place is a nondescript little restaurant near a Wal Mart that can use some better interior decorating, but the chile rellenos! I used to live in Denver, and the chile rellenos here rival the ones I’ve had at the best, most authentic Mexican restaurants in Denver. The tortilla soup and chicken enchiladas were great as well. The wait staff are very sweet and attentive as well. If you’re driving in the Olympic peninsula and suddenly have a craving for good, authentic Mexican food, this is the place to go. I highly recommend it!

Great food and excellent service. It had a small town feel and chef plate could have fed 3 people!

Very good Mexican food. I measure Mexican places by their Chimichangas & theirs was delicious & reasonably priced @ $ 6.99 for the lunch combo plate with rice & beans. Husband loved his pork carnitas plate. Love getting a plate of refried beans with the chips & salsa. If we lived near here we’d come frequently.

Holy sweet crap. This is the FIRST and only Mexican restaurant in Washington that we have found that actually serves«crispy» taco shells that aren’t those lousy corn thingies that come out of the box. The corn tortilla was actually fried and crisped up a bit. I almost cried with joy. Joy I say!!! I wish there was a Mexican restaurant closer to us here in WA that was as forward thinking about their tacos as Los Cabos.

Three words ladies and gentlemen«tacos de asada» never in my life have I had such delicious Mexican fare! The beef was tender and oh so flavorful — the the beans and rice were delicious! If only I was a multimillionaire — I would definitely eat here at least weekly if not more! We will be back and often!

Great food and great service. The meal was hot. Our family of 3 spent only $ 20 for lunch. I highly recommend this Mexican place! !!

The food was great but the atmosphere wasn’t. It’s located next to a subway and had the same bright, fluorescent lighting. The carpets are worn and dirty and the booths are a little beat up. My wife and I came on an anniversary weekend and after a big night at the casino we stopped in for some comfort food. The staff was great, the food was great but we were missing the cozy atmosphere of a family Mexican restaurant. We were started with chips, salsa, and warm bean dip. Yum! My wife had the marinated pork loin which was the star of the show.

This place is far superior to any Mexican restaurant in town(not very much competitors being a small town though) the Carne Asada is heaven on earth. A oh so juicy steak served on a bed of green, red peppers and mushrooms; and I don’t usually like mushrooms! but these were pretty good:) I just love the charred juicy steak:) the salsa and chips are amazing and they even give u refried beans and pico to dip them in!!! The salsa is sooo freaking GOOOOOOD!!! the service was awesome(i just love speaking en Español to the waiters and waitresses:) The margarita was ok. it didn’t with limes and it tasted too sour like store bought pre-mix. Just FYI: THEPLATESAREVERYHOT. I’m used to it though:) ¡Que Bueno!

Excellent food and very efficient and friendly service! In Mexican restaurants I usually get my food almost immediately after ordering but here it took a while – indicative of it being freshly prepared I believe because that’s how it tasted! Definitely THE place for Mexican food on the Peninsula! The lunch menu is slightly more affordable than the regular menu.

Delicious food! Fast service, clean place. Really liked my combo — a cheese enchilada and a beef chimichanga. I would definitely come back. Great seasoning, not too spicy or salty, big portions for a fair price. More please!

We were excited to were excited to try a new place in town, but left feeling disappointed. The restaurant was relatively empty, only 2 other tables were occupied when we got there. Even with so few tables occupied, we still had to wait(and wait and wait and wait…) to be seated. After ordering(2 chile relleño lunches and 2 kids meals) our food took about 25 minutes to come out. The good was… ok. My chile relleño was very greasy. Every bite I cut grease oozed out which is very unappetizing. It reminded me of a TV dinner in taste and quality. My daughter ordered macaroni and cheese, and it was boxed Kraft, which is a huge pet peeve of mine. Over all, I felt that it was fast food quality and taste at restaurant prices. A few positives, the salsa was actually quite tasty. Also a waitress heard us mention it was my husbands birthday and brought out a little treat. Also their lunch prices and kids meals are about a dollar and a quarter cheaper than other Mexican joints in town, so it saved us about $ 5.

Very good Mexican food. Portion sizes are huge. Four of us ordered three dishes and could not finish them all. I ordered veg enchilada. Tasted very good. We were welcomed with Starter salsa and warm chips. Service decent and friendly.

We ate here for the first time on July 1st, 2014. My daughter had the Chicken fajitas, my wife the Seafood Burrito and I had the Camerones a la Diabla. My Food was great, really fresh and cooked perfect.
