I came here based on the reviews on Unilocal.I needed a trim with layered cut, Angel helped me she was very sweet and accommodating plus she spend almost 2 hours on my hair to make sure everything was even and right before I left. Although I am not crazy about the cut and need a more razored cut(which I never told her to do) she still did a fantastic job and listened to me and preference. I’d go to her again just because she was accommodating

About a month ago I went to B2 salon for a bridal hair trial.(I was getting over the wedding so it took me a while to write this review) I was really excited because I had heard so many good things about this salon and after all it’s a «Bernard’s» salon. I mean it is why we are paying the price because of it’s prestigious name, right? I had high expectations from this place since I had had 2 trials with other salons(a little on the cheaper end). I was willing to pay whatever price to have my hair perfect on my special day. My apt was at 3p. When I entered, the staff greeted me very nicely. I met the stylist at 3:05pm. I can’t remember the name of the stylist who did my hair. She was nice and listened to what I wanted done. I had a picture to show her as well. She finished my hair at 3:40pm but I wasn’t completely happy. I asked her if she can just adjust few things like the front of my hair and the bun. Her reply was she couldn’t do it because bridal hair apt are only for an hour and she can’t go over that time. Let me remind you my hours was not over yet! I still had 20min to my hour that I am paying extra for.(regular up do’s are $ 50, bridal trials are $ 75). She suggested that I go home, adjust it and see if I like it and on the day of the wedding she will do it exactly the way I like it. What?! Are you kidding me? What is the purpose of the trial? I had gone to lower end salons without a name like Bernard’s backing them up. They did everything and anything to make me happy. Did not even remind me of the time. I didn’t know what to say at this point. I didn’t want to leave on bad terms because I didn’t hate the way she did my hair. I liked it but just wanted to adjust few things. I was considering to use them just in case I didn’t find anyone else. I left with paying extra for no reason and fixed my hair at home. I couldn’t justify spending my money at B2 after that experience. I went to another hair trial at another high end salon with a big name. They were very nice and accommodating to me and my girls. They were a bit expensive but every penny was worth it. My girls and I looked great on my special day. Moral of the story is just because you go to a high end salon doesn’t mean you will get high end service all the time. Hope this is helpful for B2 and other brides.

Amazing salon! I have been coming to the b2 salon based on a recommendation by a friend. I HAVENOT been disappointed! I request Sierra when I have my hair done a d it’s never looked more beautiful. She is truly a color expert. My hair is particularly difficult to work with because it is naturally curly and long and she cuts and colors it like the pro that she is.

Was there recently for a manicure /pedicure from Amy. It was outstanding. While getting my manicure Amy asked about my family, when I told her about my kids, she explained B2’s student discount promotion. i mentioned to Amy that my wife and I had an event coming up. Amy suggested a blow out and makeup for my wife. Reluctantly my wife scheduled an appointment, as she was nervous to go to a new salon. Well, all I can say is wow, it was so worth it! She got a blow out by Gina C an makeup by Becca. My wife looked amazing! She just made appointments for both our kids to go there. Just goes to show, if your not happy where you are, there’s always someplace willing to treat you right! Great job Amy, Becca and Gina C. You gained 4 more customers and as many people I can tell.

This is the place to come in South Jersey! Everyone is very accommodating in this beautiful boutique salon! Let me first start with Amy the salons manager/nail tech~ She not only gives a great mani/pedi she has transformed my eyebrows and made them perfect! She is always very accommodating and courteous and goes above and beyond to make you happy! My hair is done by Gina C. She is absolutely the best stylist & colorist! Most recently she did my hair & makeup for a Jimmy Rollins charity event themed Harlem Nights! If it weren’t for her, i could have never pulled the«look«off! I was complimented all night from everyone! You will look and feel beautiful when you leave! If you haven’t been here yet, you must GO!

Really loved Jacqueline. I went here for the first time after getting a horrible haircut at another salon. My hair has never looked better or laid better. She did a blow out for me and I was astonished that my hair didn’t flip at the ends, no stylist has ever been able to do that. I will most definitely return. I was offered water when I sat down, stylist was on time and friendly, salon was clean. +++

I came in for my appointment armed with a Groupon Now deal for $ 50 worth of services. On the b2 site they advertise brow wax being $ 15 and brazilian at $ 35, sweet– total of $ 50, right? NOT! After waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time the receptionist says«ok, I’m ready now” — why is the receptionist and the waxer not two separate jobs? The brow wax was just alright– but the brazilian is something I would never go back HERE for again. I’ve had much better experiences elsewhere– I’ll spare you the details, it was horrific. When I went to checkout the receptionist/waxer(again, wtf?) says that’ll be $ 65. I question the prices that were on the site and then pointed to the prices that they had on the service sheet at the desk. The response I got was that they are updating the prices(ok, then take the service sheet down). I paid the extra $ 15 plus a good tip(I’m still not sure why). What enfuriates me is that I just checked their site(this is 5 months later) and the prices are still the same. Don’t be fooled by the Bernard’s affiliation.

I went to b2 Salon for the first time to get a pedicure and it was great! The thing that impressed me most, besides the pedicure itself, was the new pedicure station that they have. It uses a new plastic lining every time someone new gets their toes done. It was so nice knowing that my feet were in a new place and not somewhere other’s feet have been, and there are no jets that could store bacteria and mold or even skin from other people’s feet. Defiantly going back there again! I can’t forget all the groupon deals and coupons they have!

I was waiting a few weeks to calm down before I posted this review, in hopes that my hair would settle/I would grow to be able to deal with it. Nope, I’m still just as angry. I came in with a groupon for a full highlight and a trim. I had two requests — that I not look like a zebra, and that I wanted as little of a trim as possible. When I pull my hair back, I have to use a TON of hairspray since she put so many short layers into my thin, shoulder length hair that they won’t stay back without a can of Rave. I look like a zebra when I pull it back, but when it’s down it’s worth. She gave me the Rachel. A trim does NOT consititute heavy duty layers. And she even confirmed before cutting«so we’re just trimming it up, right?» I don’t know WTF happened, but I should have insisted on seeing the back of my head before leaving. Maybe I wouldn’t have tipped quite so much. A trim should not leave you with layers that don’t hit the bottom of your ears, when you didn’t have any to begin with. If you can’t do highlights thin enough to not be stripy, you shouldn’t take the appointment. My hair is a mess, and that has not changed in two and a half weeks. Do not be fooled by the Benard’s name. I’ve had better hair cuts at Great Clips.
