Stopped in for lunch with family on a Sunday afternoon. We were the ONLY table in there and our waitress was MIA. After placing our order, we were told they were all out of burgers… Ok. The table that sat after us ordered… you guessed it. Burgers! This left me confused. The menu is limited but what we got was good. It took us longer to get the check then anything. We weren’t really sure where our waitress went as the place literally had 2 tables in the dining room. Maybe I’d try again. I can’t really base the place on the TERRIBLE service, right?!

It’s a good looking space they have. Place was surprisingly empty given there nice specials. Pick the right bar seat because the door lets in a lot of cold wind draft. Food was ok. Maybe they don’t advertise or market correctly? I gotta for a website they may need.

I love the décor and ambiance, a good place to go if you don’t want that insanely crowded bar scene with long bathroom lines and lung-squishing trips to the bar. Don’t have to worry about the meathead trying to get in your face because you bumped into his girl or worse yet. him. This place makes you never want to go back to LM again!

I’ve been there plenty of times. This review is more for first timers considering going. Upside: really good tv’s for watching games, a lot of beer choices. Downside: Aside from the Irish bartender, who I’m not sure still works there, the service goes from mediocre to terrible. I was there 1÷15÷15 just to watch hockey and the service was bad. Slow to get to us on several occasions at a place that was not crowded. Bartenders spend too much time BS’ing with ppl they know. Many of their good staff apparently have left. As far as food it’s hit or miss. Some of the apps are decent, the main entrees and whatnot leave a lot to be desired. They could also consider their crowd when blasting music. It’s the kind of place that invites conversation, but they prohibits it. I’m all for loud music, but not having to scream at the people I’m with for general conversation. And another case of a bar not catering to the public. When you go to a bar, whether they call themselves a sports bar or not, which I don’t think they profess to do, you should know the schedule of local and big national games of any of the main sports. If a game starts at 7, you shouldn’t have to ask for them to put it on only for them to fumble and take time to figure out changing channels. Don’t get me wrong, the staff were certainly pleasant, but they could have used a take charge manager there who’s on top of things, then I think the servers would make out better with tips.

This place could be great but fails sometimes. Sometimes the drink specials and other times they are not. Sometimes the crowd is great but other times it is dead. My main concern is how they are when it is busy. I got a bill for $ 7.99 and clearly so spent $ 30 plus. When I told the bartender they could not find the problem and Let me go. Since I felt bad I left a huge tip but I hope that some of that tip went to lost profit. This is how places go under. I will go back because I live around the corner but so wish things would pick up and mistakes like that do not happen again.

Left after one beer as the bar stools were horribly uncomfortable! (thurs nite) Several people were standing around what appeared to be a hostess station without a hostess. after about 10 min they sat themselves.(get a sign) Many tables were dirty, no busboys seen in the 20 min we were there. Bartender seemed overwhelmed. three stars as the beer was nice and cold and priced right.

Nice Irish pub atmosphere. Turkey burger was excellent. Someone in our party wanted cheddar cheese rather cheese whiz on fries. That seemed to confuse 2 servers for some reason. Service was pretty good otherwise.

Great beer selection but who’s managing this place? Every time I’ve ordered food here they’ve been out of something! With a new manager who isn’t as incompetent as the current one this place could be great. As is its only good for a beer at happy hour

I was here fir a kinda wedding party. I liked the look of the place but the service was a little to be desired. Since I love my buffalo wings and truly how can you screw them up. I order and order if hit wings, I told my waitress that u wanted them well well done, I guess to some that means raw. I had to send them back to have them done some more after 15 min I got them and truly I was disappointed. The so call hot wings were more like vinegar wings. I only had two and could not eat more. Once I had to go to the bathroom I found myself walking on a river of pee, toilet water and who knows what. I don’t know if it was a bad night or what but really, really.

After ordering beers, we ordered both the appetizer and meals together and the waitress made a point of assuring the would be served separately. They were, by 2 minutes. Our appetizer was a homemade potato chip and toppings dish. It was so saturated with grease that it was inedible. The trend continued with the meal! The menu is limited, I ordered fish and chips. The fish seemed undercooked in the center and again saturated with grease on the dark batter dipped outside. The fries were mushy. When I told the waitress that my meal is greasy, she said«Is that good?» I said no and she said that some people like greasy food. The topper was that she came back in 5 minutes and asked if she could wrap up my food for me to take home. Seriously?

Friday night, live music, happy people. Good vibe to the place when you walk in, but service definitely was slow. Appetizers came out quickly, but dinner came out slow. Certain dishes, I’d recommend, but others I would not. Recommended: 1) Guiness Beef Stew –well flavored. Tender chunks of beef, smooth whipped potatoes, served with toast triangles. 2) Fish and Chips — moist large whole fillets of fish 3) Pesto and bread crumb crusted salmon with a squash medley and whipped potatoes. — It was a special. Not recommended: Pan-seared ahi tuna — not seasoned enough, tuna wasn’t so fresh tasting

I saw the two-star rating, but thought, «Oh, maybe it’s not too bad.» Yeah, no. The reviews don’t lie. Lazy Lanigans has potential. It really does. But the mixture of slow service(waitress looked so tired) and bland food left plenty to be desired. Not to mention, the bathrooms were pretty gross. On a Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Were they not cleaned after the Friday night crowd? This place serves up typical bar food. The mozzarella sticks, at $ 8, should have been better than TGI Friday’s frozen sticks, but, alas, they tasted exactly like them. The turkey burger, which was«homemade,» according to the server, was served piping hot(like burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth hot) and was boring. Yes, a boring turkey burger. The one light in the whole experience was the bartender — a happy person who held a conversation about the end of summer’s quick approach. Will I come back? No, probably not. Would I come back if I still lived in Washington Township? Yes, but for drinks only.

Wings were barely done. 3 out of 4 celery sticks were brown and when I asked for a side of wing sauce there was a white swirl in it… wtf. Wont eat here again.

The husband and I enjoy sitting at the bar regularly! The bartenders are super friendly! We especially love Matt, Don and Heather! The happy hour specials are out of this world! We love the $ 4.50 chicken quesadillas! To die for! I personally love torturing the regulars and a certain Irish bartender by playing 80’s heavy metal on the juke box!

I used a Groupon and I must say I would come again. It has a cute atmosphere. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. the Groupon came with a free appetizer. We ordered the calamari and it was tasty!

My wife and I had a Groupon so we tried this place out last night. She had the roast beef and I had the chicken. Nice atmosphere and good selection of beer. Food was tasty but only lukewarm.

Lazy Lanigans consistently has horrible service. I’ve frequented Lazy’s almost every Friday and every waitress I’ve had was slow and incompetent. The food selection is insulting and the quality is horrible. The food is never hot when served. Made several complaints to management regarding bad service and he lacks interest in his customers happiness. Their name suits them well… L-A-Z-Y Will not be frequenting this restaurant again.

There was a Groupon deal for this place and since it’s in the town where my most of relatives live I thought I’d give it a shot. It has a nice space, a decent list of Irish beers, mediocre service, some highs and lows regarding the food and a very loud band. If you are using a Groupon be sure to print it out(see below). The place is nicely furnished and does have a «pub» feel to it — there are different sections for the bar, dining etc. Upon entering our ears were immediately accosted by the guitar duo who were strumming out their best Bön Jovi and the Eagles. Add in a drummer, long hair and yellow leather pants for the band and fingerless lace gloves, lots of hairspray and some recreational drugs for me and it could have been 1985. Not that they were bad, they were fine — just way too loud for people that were there to eat, not party to the oldies. The service was not good. There seemed to be an abundance of wait staff milling about importantly and the dining area was only about two thirds full at around 6:30pm and yet our waitress was nowhere to be found for long periods every time we needed her. Our soup was whipped out fairly quickly but then we endured loooooooooong periods in between each additional course where we had nothing to do but either try to shout at each other or just listen to the band since their music made comfortable conversation impossible. The food was hit and miss. We really liked the red seafood bisque — lots of fresh clams and fish and a nice depth of flavor. The mussels with red sauce were ok, a tiny bit«fishy» tasting but we ate them. My dining companion had the roast beef platter which had a good flavor but a lot of the meat was fatty. The mashed potatoes and veggies were tasty. My whiskey glazed salmon would have been very good if they had taken the salmon off the grill about 2 minutes earlier than they did — it was overcooked and the thinner part of the filet was definitely dry/chewy. By that time though there was no way I was sending it back and staying longer than necessary and when the duo started wailing out a John Cougar Mellencamp tune I choked down the dry fish because it was definitely time to go. One last negative — when I showed the waitress my Groupon coupon on my phone she said«Oh. I have to show the manager.» and took my phone and left into a hidden back area. For like 5 minutes. I don’t even like my husband to take my phone. For all I knew the manger could have used my phone to call her relatives in a distant land and then dropped my phone into a soup pot. It was very unprofessional to take my phone, the manager should have come to the table to look. This place has the potential to be good — it’s a nice space but the staff and their systems need to get more tightly organized and the food could be much better if they paid attention to detail. And get in a nice, quiet traditional Irish folk duo or something, at least for the early evening.

We were previously at this location when it was the former Dubh Linn Square pub. We stopped in Lazy Lanigans yesterday afternoon for lunch. The interior looks the same as the previous establishment(which is fine by me). They built a new outside covered patio(all season patio w/bar, retractable walls, etc.). Our server(Jen) had the personality of a wet blanket, she needed a shot of hapiness.(more like a intravenous drip). Though, she was attentive and got the job done. For libations, Kate had the Wachusett Blueberry Ale. I wasn’t feeling adventurous so I went with my stand-by, a good ol’ Pennsylvania lager(that’s Yeuengling son). For grub, Kate decided to go with the special Prime Rib sandwich w/Au jus, it was VERY good.(the bread had a nice crispness to it, beef was moist; and the horseradish sauce tied it all together). I had the Roasted Turkey wrap sandwich, it was good.(I like the bacon they use). The sweet potato fries had a nice crisp to them, they were larger than shoe-string but thinner than steak fries(skip the side of cinnamon dip that the fries comes with… just dip the fries in some spicy Colmans mustard and/or ketchup and you will be straight). Not sure what this place is like on a Friday or Saturday night but as long as it does not turn into a debacle such as the Tilted Kilt franchise, it should do okay. Overall, we liked this place for lunch & brew. I’d say a solid 3.5 stars. We will return if we are in the area.
