The food is never satisfying and overpriced for what it is. The ice cream is okay, when you don’t have to wait 15 minutes for them to scoop it. The staff is friendly, but more of a fake creepy«friendly» rather than the real deal. I always groan when people suggest eating here.

This is our favorite Culver’s. We’ve gotten to know the workers here, from the owner to the managers to the wait staff and they are all really nice people. They welcome us by name here. Food is usually good and consistent. The owner and managers always make sure everyone is well taken care of and satisfied. We tend to come early before it gets busy and avoid the rush times as much as possible since it can get busy. Plenty of parking and they have nice bathrooms here too!

Good hamburgers. Kind of a cross between MC Donald’s and a fancy restaurant without the high price. Great deserts like Cement mixers are an added bonus

I just had the worst hamburger. For what you pay, it was extremely small and very greasy. I did have grilled onions on it and it was the worst onions you could possibly imagine. So disappointed!

CULVER’s is a mostly midwest burger chain. visited the restaurant in SHAKOPEE for a late night bite. place was clean, comfortable with an amazingly friendly and well trained staff. met the owner-operator, DAVIDCIZEK, who was working the register at 10 pm on a wednesday night. that kind of dedication and attention to detail(always impressed when i pick up a pepper shaker and can count the pepper grains) showed in every operational phase at CULVER’s of SHAKOPEE. seven-year old WYATT had the 2 piece NORTHATLANTICCOD dinner which arrived hot and fresh from the fryer. pretty sure the crinkle cut FRIES made a pit stop in the freezer first but the fish looked freshly battered and was crispy and delicious. WYATT, exhausted after a long day traveling, ate happily and contented. nine-year old JULIANA’s going thru a chili phase. after ordering a chili cheese dog for lunch, she tried a bowl of CHILI for dinner. solid, standard bowl of meat, beans(obviously not a TEXAS version) and seasonings. dad had a salad, STRAWBERRYFIELDS(greens, chicken, blue cheese, strawberries, pecans and cherry tomatoes with a raspberry vinaigrette) in what i am finding to be the midwest style — lots and lots of toppings(like a couple handfuls of pecans) and almost no greens. JODI, the wife-unit, had CHEESECURDS(immature cheese chunks the size of miniature marshmallows, breaded and deep fried), a regional delicacy. the gooey bites of hot mess were eagerly gobbled up by everybody at the table. basically a burger joint with(and you can tell from what we ordered) an extended menu. a nice alternative to the golden arches across the street. not overly ambitious but good, solid food. glad we stopped by and gave the place a try.

People who work here are really friendly. I had a chicken salad. Pretty good for a fast food place– nothing earth shattering but greens were fresh, and chicken was nice and warm. I think I was supposed to get a butter burger and concrete, but I was trying to be healthy!

It’s great when you see a business giving back to their community and tonight Culver’s of Shakopee did just that. I was here for a American Diabetes Fundraiser where this location gave back 10% of it’s receipts to the American Diabetes and it didn’t cost the customer ANY extra. I don’t often go to Culver’s but this one had a nice, homey feel. Nice, soft paintings, a fireplace that was very clean. I had a bacon cheddar butter burger with onion rings and was better than your typical fast food join because it was actually made to order and not sitting under a warming light.

It seems like everyone at this location is genuinely interested in making customers happy. This reflects well on how they are trained, I suppose. Ruben and his team are always looking out for the customers’ best interest, and it seems like everyone enjoys working for him. We are always greeted with a smile, and Ruben always walks around making sure each customer is taken care of. It seems like there are always new items to try, and though we love our favorites, one of us always ventures out and tries the latest Culvers creation. Great stuff! I have never seen a dirty table at this location, and I take my family here 2 – 3 times per month.

Great burger(their ‘butterburger’) that they make your way. Clean, open dining room, gracious and responsive staff. Good road trip dinner, in my book!
