This is a great place to stay, quiet and welcoming. Independently owned. Decent food nearby. I think some rooms have great bathtubs and are roomier, ours was ok. The beds were super comfortable!

We stayed at Phillips Motel during a road trip to New England. It was the nicest motel of the entire trip. The landscaping was lovely, the king room was huge. Everything was very clean. Loved the antique furnishings. The staff was very friendly. Best of all, they were dog-friendly!

We loved it! And I am picky about hotels. Was a little nervous about«motel» in the name, but it was lovely. It was honestly cleaner and overall better than some pf the higher dollar hotels we have stayed at. Stayed there twice so far. Very clean, tidy and cozy. The bathroom was spotless. Met all our needs with no extra frills to overpay for. Love the price, love the motel. Will stay there again!

I travel for work and often stay at Hilton Brand properties. that is unless I am in Central PA. I stay at the Phillips every time Im in the area due to the extremely friendly staff and clean rooms. Not to mention every room seems to be individually decorated. Its a great change of pace from your normal hotel chains.

I posted this review on over 2 years ago but has a different clientele so it’s worth re-posting here: My husband, mother-law, and I have stayed at the Phillips Motel on several occasions. The service is always friendly, the rooms always super-clean. The Phillips features free internet in every room + amenities in every room(cable tv, fridge, hair dryer, iron, alarm clock, coffee maker, etc.). It’s easy to find too — directions are on the web. Just look for the beautiful yellow and white buildings. AAA3-star rating. Rates are unbeatable in the area. Pets allowed! Convenient to Bucknell University, Susquehanna University, historic Lewisburg(with lots of great shops on Market St.), Milton, and many other nearby attractions. Look no further!

This place basically has everything that you need for an excellent price. It is clean, very well maintained and has a very friendly staff. While it is true that this town(and the small ones that surround it) does have some incredibly cute bed and breakfasts around, nothing is as inexpensive as this place. Don’t expect the W, expect your grandmas house without that weird smell. Also, gay owned and operated. Yay!
