Top notch food and outstanding customer service — thank you, Todd! In a perfect world, they’d be here in Minneapolis.

The two sauces we had were excellent and unique to the Lube. Our server was very good as well. Lack of 5 stars is for two reasons. First, for some reason unknown most of our wings were cooked just right but part of the exact same order the wings were a bit rubbery and definitely needed to cook longer. The wings were barely covered in sauce. And the second reason is simply the price. Now over $ 30 for a bucket of 30 wings is pushing the envelope. And for those of us that remember when a bucket of wings was 50 wings for about $ 20 the prices now are a bit hard to swallow. No pun intended.

Had a late night burger and baked beans here. Burger was OK and prepared as I ordered. The baked beans were pretty good but the portion was kind of small.

I am one of the atomic wing survivors in Erie. Is this the original location? I may as well dine with a friend this Friday since the spice is so spicin’ nice here

Working in Warner so we stopped in here for lunch. Cool layout. Very interesting for kids too. Now, the food we ordered was standard corporation restaurant fare. I was ok with that. We sat outside around 1;30 on a Monday & getting service a little slow but ok. What pulled them down from 4 to 3 starts was the poor selection of beers I mean seriously. Ohio has some great brewery’s with the trend of IPAs getting so strong, Breweries like Fat Head, Brew Kettle, Jackie Os, Columbus Brewing Co, Thirsty Dog, Great Lakes. .…etc. Places like this are missing the boat. Sure, MOST truckers, PBR& Bud fans are easy to please but this place has plenty of tap handles to at least try the local brews of a few months & see what min. try & stock a few bottles. Let your customers know you have them. Step up or get passed up is how the industry go’s. Hope they read some of these post. Then again, I’m from San Diego. What do I know about restaurant’s who get it right.

Average at best. Never ask about a beer on tap bc your server won’t know what is on tap or what an IPA is…

The first Quacker Steak and Lube the one that started it all. Has 2 place on same propery… old railroad stations… bar and club then bar and restaurant… smoking allowed at the first one and not the other… fun ecclectic… and if your with friends grab a lube tube… lots of fun to be had!

Looking for wings??? This is the place to go. My husband has been on a wing kick for about a month… we’ve been out several times… seems to end up being on Sunday evening. Each time we have had great service, and very tasty food. I love the loaded Magna Fries and Louisiana Licker wings.

Can’t beat the lube! Despite rumors of the establishment being dirty, my food has always been clean &’ nothing wrong. It’s a favorite. I’ve been there with family, friends, &’ on dates!(Cool date place btw!) I suggest the biker chick salad &’ their buffalo chicken Mac n cheese. I get both w/o chicken &’ they’re always more than happy to accommodate my dietary needs I love it!

The original location! Great place for wings with a wide variety of sauces! You can order 6 wings up to a bucket of wings! Great selection of ice cold beers to go along with your wings. Don’t forget to stop at their gift shop to get a t– shirt to take home. Was a weekly stop for me.

I grew up eating at the Lube as a teen. Recently went back for Wing Night, and was pleasantly pleased with the Lube I’ve always known. A little pricier now for Wing Night($ 13.99), but a good deal, considering you get shrimp and other sides as well.

This is the original location. It may be dorky, but I enjoy going to places that were the first in a chain, have some sort of story, etc. I was impressed with the interior. You can tell it was just«fun» rather than the very«corporate» looks of other Quaker Steak locations. Other than that, it was a typical Quaker Steak experience. I love that there are so many options for the sauce on your wings. My problem is usually choosing which sauce to try! The wings are a decent size and always served with the right amount of crispiness and flavor. One of my favorite things on the menu are the«pick up pickles» They are just friend pickles, but the breading has a great flavor and the pickles retain their flavor and form. We dined with a party of 14 and despite it being a large party, the staff was efficient and attentive. I probably won’t drive out to Sharon again(at least not just for Quaker Steak), but if I do find myself passing through the area, it would be my go to stop.

I do have fond memories of the Lube. It was the site of my first wing eating contest when I was 16 years old. I ordered the spicy wings, then got some extra hot sauce to put on them. The average person might find them hot, but I could eat molten lava, and not be phased, so I didn’t find them overly hot at the time. And in case you were wondering, I beat out my older brother and uncle that day. They’ve never lived down the shame. It’s still a decent place to eat, after all these years, although my cousin swears the wings at her bar are better. My wing eating days are long gone, so I’d have to take her word for it. My parents love the Lube, so when I’m back for a visit, we always go.

You want wings? You want beer? Say no more. They have ‘em. After my friend had rant and raved about their wings, we went there for the wing buffet. Not bad. For a smidge under 13 bucks, you can eat all the freaking wings you want. Wings: They have boneless and boned wings, variety of flavors, sauces, powdered flavored wings and such. If you don’t find what you are looking for on the buffet, they will happily bring out what you want. However, the top section of the menu is extra change. That’s fine, because the top section is all about the hot sh! t. I’ll admit, I’m not about to man up to prove myself on some wings that will hotter than… I don’t know hotter than what, but pretty damn hot. I dipped my finger in the hottest sauce they had and it burned my mouth big time. Beer: Want lots of beer? Get the lube tube. 100oz beer. It’s worth it. Not a bad place to go. If you like NASCAR, then you’ll be in redneck Heaven with the auto car racing theme all over the place. I was actually surprised that I didn’t see any mullets around? Hmm, what gives? Regardless, it is a great place if you are seeking a good night of wings and beer.

I had a great time at a quick afternoon stop-in to Quaker Steak & Lube. I’m pretty sure I’d be vegetarian if it weren’t for one thing: chicken wings. I love them. Quaker Steaks’ wings were top notch. They were ready quickly and had plenty of sauce. I had the Buckeye BBQ flavor and they definitely had some heat. As a girl who can only really handle a moderate heat level, I would say that the Buckeyes are the cutoff between hot and insanity. Be advised. We had a little bit of trouble finding the Quaker Steak because of some detours and then were kind of confused about what was what — there are two bars that share the same parking lot. We definitely went to Quaker Steak, but I wonder what the other, seemingly related place was. Once we were inside, the service was good, and the atmosphere was festive — very car-oriented and fun. We sat at the bar and not only was the waitress behind the bar attentive, but she was friendly and talkative as well. Finally, they gave us each a Twizzler with our check. I don’t know if it was warm from being in the kitchen or if it was just super fresh, but Best.Twizzler.Ever.Seriously. :)

OK, I live in town. So I’ve been to the original Quaker Steak and Lube more times than I can count. So let me break it down for you: there are better wings elsewhere. Yes, I know, the Lube is known for their wings. But the quality has waned over the years while the prices have soared. If you’re looking for a clever atmosphere, trendy automotive themed menu items, a bunch of crazy stuff hanging from the walls and ceiling, and more wings sauces to choose from than you can shake a stick at, this is your place. But you’re gonna pay for it. It’s a tourist trap. If all you want is great wings, you can go to almost any other non-chain restaurant in the area and get good wings. They’ll be bigger, taste just as good, and be half the price. Every bar in town serves them. Don’t get me wrong, the Lube has better wings than you’ve had at any chain restaurant. Applebee’s, Ruby Tuesday’s, whatever. If you want the«experience» go for it. Just be prepared to open your wallet wide. Dinner and a couple drinks and you’re easily over $ 30 for one person. That’s not crazy expensive, but the food and drinks just aren’t worth it. You’re paying for the«experience».

Hands down, the original Lube is the best one to visit. The wings taste the best and don’t taste like preservatives, and the older feel to it also gives this place a different type of charm than the other cookie-cutter locations. I would drive 1 ½ hours from Akron, OH just to eat here during college. All-you-can-eat wings just can’t be beaten, although they don’t include Suicide or Atomic Wings with the all-you-can-eat package. My favorite flavor: Buckeye BBQ. So tangy, spicy, and heavenly. The Atomic Wing Challenge is very hot, but you can find hotter things elsewhere. To be honest, the sauce is nothing but heat. I’ve had hotter sauces with an extra«kick» that gave those sauces something different from their competitors. This one is similar to B-Dub’s hottest sauce in that they don’t taste very good. Sharon sucks. If you come to Sharon for one reason, this better be the reason why you’re in Sharon.
