Hampton Inn of Shawnee

Staff was all exceptional. Giving one star because our room was infested with tiny half rice sized bugs. We discovered them after already sleeping one night. They were on my son’s crib and I lost it. The hotel offered us another room but this room was not cleaned properly (urine in the toilet and on seat) so that was it for me.
I don’t think all the rooms are like this. And like I said the staff was very nice and professional. I just feel like I’ve got things crawling on me now.
I’ll update if I find out what they were.

Thank you for such pleasant stay July 11, 2012 to July 20, 2012! This hotel is so excellent! Nice amenities of shampoo, bath soaps, mirrors, in the room! Think was Room 118, a Handicap Room with Sit Down Shower! How nice a welcome gift of bag snacks, bottled waters, Chinese restaurant menues! The swimming pool and jacuzzi were so great! Mostly in the jacuzzi, as I remember some times Po Po say if a hotel has jacuzzi, the heat from water will help soothe the bad leg after long day exploring! The included breakfasts were just excellent! The one day rained most the day, ventured to movie theater very close walking of your hotel, saw a Spider Man movie! There was a Color Me Mine but I just could not imagine taking finished Art Product back to California, probably would not get through Airport Security! I really liked how one the days a birthday card signed by all your staff members! I very high to recommend your hotel to anyone!

The hotel is a typical Hampton. However, the staff is very friendly, professional, and know what is «customer service» five stars. The GM Randy and his staff made my stay away from home great. I had a couple issues but the staff made every effort to make it right and I would definitely suggest to colleagues and friends.
I spoke to Sherry in housekeeping this morning. She has found items that I left behind. I do appreciate everything housekeeping did to locate my item and ship it to my home. Thank you.

Well maintained building from the looks of it, nice lobby area, smooth and easy check in.
The room was great, soft but not too much beds, clean and ready. Coffee/​tea maker in room, along with clothes iron and board and mini refrigerator. Perfect.
Excellent breakfast, lots of choice. One of the best I’ve had in a lower priced hotel.
Good bargain, nice staff, and very clean. And there’s a pool and gym as well.

I stayed in this hotel because my brother gets surgeries every 3 months. We love this hotel friendly staff.

Typical older Hampton Inn. Staff is exceptionally friendly and there are a couple of God restaurants in the parking lot.
Rates are usually decent and a good place to stay when you’re in the area and liking for a decent room at a fair price.
I keep going back here because of the staff and the location.
