Okay, so the food was fine. If you’ve been to KFC, you know what to expect in regards to food. This place was fine when it came to food. For that, they get the 2 stars. But they certainly don’t deserve any more stars than that. Went through the drive through and was promptly asked if I wanted to get the family deal(8 pc bucket, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, biscuits and 4 cookies). At first I said knowbut after realizing it was cheaper than getting the 8pc meal which made most sense for us, I opted for it. We proceeded to the window where we waited for our food. And waited. And continued waiting. There was nobody in front of us. There were maybe 2 cars in the parking lot. ie, this place was NOT remotely busy(especially for it being like 5:30−6 o’clock). And still we waited. And waited even more. It had to have been the longest I’ve ever waited for food when I was the only one in line. Once they finally came to the window, we were informed that they didn’t have the cookies for the meal we ordered(and that THEY were pushing to sell). So in it’s place, the swapped our 4 cookies for 1 small cake. The meal claims to feed4and you give us a cake meant for 1? Yeah… thanks… If I really am craving fast food chicken, I’m pretty sure I’ll go to Church’s instead. Comparable food without the ridiculous wait time for no apparent reason.

Holy sticky floor, Batman. Wow. This KFC is not very good at all. I had a couple errands to run after work, and was trying to decide on a quick lunch option. Hadn’t had any chicken in a while, so thought I’d just pop in for a quick bite at good ol’ Kentucky Fried Chicken. Sadly, this small storefront off of Shawnee Mission Parkway appears to have numerous problems. I walked into a deserted dining room, which was red flag #1. Then, I stood at the counter for a good 3 – 4 minutes waiting for the lone clerk to finish up taking AND filling a drive thru order. Seriously, I stood there an awful long time before even being acknowledged. Finally he noticed me, and said he’d be right with me. Still a couple more minutes before he finally approached the front register to take my order. Pleasant enough guy, just a bit overworked by my estimation. I ordered a 3 piece meal and a couple sides, but noticed as he rang the order in that he didn’t ask if I wanted original, grilled or extra crispy. I pointed that out, so he had to start over ringing in my order a second time. Ok, that happens… no biggie. He rings me up, upsells the drink for an extra dollar(shame on you, KFC, for not including a drink in your combo price). I pick up my quickly-filled order(a nice thing about KFC in general), and head to a table in the empty dining room. It would be impossible to sneak across this room, as the stickiness of the floor made for a very comical trek as each footfall was reminiscent of a crappy 70’s movie theater floor. Maybe bust out a mop and bucket once in a while, guys! Once seated, I dug in to my repast. Opening the box, I noticed that my 3 piece meal had become a 2 piece. He entered the order wrong. I quickly checked my receipt… and he had not charged for the 3 piece that I had ordered… just a 2 piece. I wrote that off as the universe telling me I didn’t need 3 pieces of fried chicken for lunch on a Wednesday. Still, not what I ordered. The food was, fine… just your basic KFC, which scratched the itch that I had to stop in here. But the upkeep and service REALLY need work at this location. I won’t be back to this one.

Normal KFC. Not the friendliest crowd. I don’t go very often because they just lack any people skills. The food was okay though.

Just not treated well at all and the person who helped me was a managing partner. He wouldn’t honor front flip and then over charged me. Not a good feeling here. They get 1 star for how nice the cashier was after the managing partner was so rude.
