There are some interesting historical plaques about the 3 trails that passed through Shawnee, and two sculptures created by local artist Charles Goslin. A million for the sculptures? Hmmm.
There’s a creek along one side, and stairs on the far end that lead to nowhere, oh wait, they lead to a kid’s park above.
In 2006, the park became a Sesquicentennial Project on Shawnee’s
150^th birthday.
