Rib Crib

Ribs are good. But not worth almost 20.00 per person! Its all you can eat, I get that. But come on! 18.99 per person is Ridiculous to say the least.

I have been here 4 times. And every time I say the last. It should not take 30 minutes to get your food when they are very slow. Service is super slow food was pretty good. Sorry but I will go to another location. But not this Shawnee location!!!

This place is great ! I think it’s a little costly but the food is wounder full ! They will cook a ham or a turkey for u for 45.00 if anyone is interested

Most often when a restaurant opens there is a period of «growing pains.» For this very reason I normally give a new establishment time to season and mature before sampling the food and service.
Rib Crib was different, and my wife and I ate there the first week they were open and we were very impressed with the service and the quality of the food.
A period of months passed before we returned and we noticed a significant drop in efficiency of the staff and quality of the food coming from the kitchen. In fact two of our requested items were not available. On this visit our server never checked with us until she brought our check. In fact, the food was delivered not by our server but by a food runner. There was a very long wait for the food to arrive and none of it was up to temp.
Last week we made our last visit to Rib Crib at 45^th and Kickapoo for a late lunch. Again, service did not come anywhere near approaching adequate. My wife had requested no croutons on her salad and got enough for three salads, our Okra was burned and our Ribs were dry and very tough. I had to get out of my seat to find our server to get a refill of tea.
A restaurant can maintain guests with acceptable food and outstanding customer service. Outstanding Food and poor customer care is almost as bad as what Rib Crib now is putting forth… Poor Food and equally Poor Service.
It is back to Robbs where you always get great food and a friendly smile.

This place has no idea how to make BBQ. Had a 2 meat with pulled pork and chopped brisket, pork had absolutely no flavor and was dry as a bone, the chopped was sliced brisket they tried to pass off as chopped again no flavor and dry. They also had no variety of sauces their mild is as hot as the hot sauce.

Love the food! When it first opened it was so awesome but shortly after that the service just went wrong! The food is still amazing & every so often we will stop in to see if anything changes but nope, the service is still the worst ever! My order was wrong & when I pointed that out to the server she told me that it was «basically the same thing» so it’s probably not worth having it remade. Wow!

Service is average but the food needs some work. The BBQ sauce is terrible and the food was cold. There is other places in town to go that are better. Over priced and not worth it.

Love the food! But the service is getting lazy! Today our food came without bread and cole slaw. The waitress acted as though I asked for bread from the moon. Very rude! Last week I ordered food to go. The box of chicken was crushed and the pickle juice had drained into it. Not very appetizing!

Had good experiences at other Rib Cribs. Food was a bit over priced for you get. Salad was light on the chicken and missing part of a cheese tortilla roll up. Waitress was friendly but not informative or very understanding about a complaint we had of finding lint in a cup of ranch that came with the salad and when asked about the missing food item made an excuse instead of fixing the problem.

When it first opened it was my new favorite place, but has since disappointed me. The service went down and with it the food.

Food was dried out and cold. Brisket so hard couldn’t eat it. Mac and cheese was cold. Ribs were all fat and looked like they were left over.

This is actually one of the better rib cribs. The all you may eat ribs were very tender and flavorful… Just a bit heavy on the rub. The green beans were outstanding. Ashton was our waitress and she did an outstanding job and was always prompt with drink refills or more ribs
