This place can boast of great sandwiches, good tea and coffee, a unique atmosphere, and a laid back ambiance. Please put a handle on the bathroom door and offer a discounted refill price on coffee and teas. Every town needs this type of establishment!

Great atmosphere, good sandwiches, Collectivo coffee, friendly people, funky and comfortable. It’s the full package. Get the Zeus sandwich for lunch — great if you like a veggie sandwich. For Breakfast, the egg sandwich on the best bagels in town.

Very neat place. Unique atmosphere. Enjoyed my coffee and egg, ham bagel. My Son said it was the best French toast he has ever had. Bought some nice trinkets on the way out. Fun place.

I would give this place no stars if I could. There is so much about this place that would earn it 5 stars… coffee, dessert, vibe & overall atmosphere. The service was terrible and that ruins everything. It’s such a shame too. Two of us stopped in and we weren’t greeted at all at the counter. There were no other customers, by the way. We each ordered a drink, and they forgot to make one of the drinks. After finally getting that drink, it was made incorrectly. The barista corrected the order, but was brusk & rude about it. Too bad. Sheboygan could use good businesses in town. We drove hours to get to town, then walked quite a ways to get to Paradigm. The poor treatment was a huge disappointment.

There’s absolutely no reason to dislike this establishment. It’s perfect for all your coffee shop needs and unlike most coffee joints the food here is actually good. I was skeptical but once I had the ham sandwich with perfectly toasted bread and melted cheese I was hooked. Highly recommended.

Great coffee shop with lots of seating bright and shaded. I enjoyed the fresh tasting willikers sandwich and a latte. I personally thought the temp was a bit cool, however we sat in a darker corner as the sunny areas were taken. The shared bathroom was very clean :). I would definitely return, hopefully when they have live music — one of the baristas mentioned Saturday night at 8pm — check their FB page.

This is a hipster hangout for semi hipsters in a small town. Cool décor, food was good. I had the mushroom and wild rice… Needed salt. The egg salad was good, but needed to be kicked up a notch, more vibrant flavor. A little mustard or vinegar. I do love the beautifully toasted bread! Incredible. All in all a solid place for a sandwich and coffee. Wish I could do like 3.5 stars.

Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s a unique concept, although simple. Very laidback. The drinks are excellent at the atmosphere is refreshingly urban and well put together. I’d definitely recommend it to anybody looking to get a great drink in an even better place. 5 out of 5 stars. Definitely coming back. Way to go, Paradigm.

Good coffee, lots of bicycles hanging all over the place. Reminds me of several cafés in California along the beach.

I’ve watched this place evolve from start up to full blown community coffee spot. I worked with Katie at another long gone café many years ago. She’s very passionate about the Sheboygan community, local goods, great coffee, and bikes which combine to make the best place for everyone to hang out. Stop by and say hello if you have a chance!

The atmosphere is very open and there is great places to sit like couches! I love it so much like all the very natural food selection and anything with bread is to die for

This place is the closest I have felt to being back in Santa Cruz, CA in the early 1990’s. All walks of life, live music, open mic, people sleeping on the couches, fringe peeps, young adults playing board games, young professionals on their laptops, elders reading novels, local art, bulletin boards filled with flyers, lots of homemade delights, bikes, bikes and more bikes. So what this place is, what is going on behind the scenes, and what Kate and crew are doing for Sheboygan is so crucial for a vibrant community. Go, go often, eat and drink(double check for that random hair in the cookie) and then go shop in the local foods coop in the back, Goodside grocery. Then donate your old bike to their ReBike program. We need more Paradigm openings in WI!

I love this place! The drinks are great and so are their desserts. I’ve been there a few times during open mic night and the performances were excellent. There’s a lot of talent around here. It is a great atmosphere if you have to study too. Every time I go I get a chai tea and it’s amazing. Better than Starbucks!

Huge fan of paradigm! Love going to the open mic nights and seeing what they have to offer. Food is great and the staff is pleasant. Damon is my favorite staff member, say hi to him if you him, very friendly! Also a very fun and exciting atmosphere, certainly affordable as well. A no-brainer!

I love to meet new people here on blind dates! Mu ha ha! But seriously. The baristas are pretty cool(tip them well guys)! They serve a mean cup of Joe… They have a cool little ‘shop’ of hand crafted items in the front right corner(as soon as you walk in). They also have a Food Co-op in the back(pretty awesome, check it out too!).

Sheboygan is lucky to have Paradigm – great coffee, great food, and great people. Kate and crew will hook you up with whatever hot or cold beverage you might desire. And they are patient with newbies as they figure out what they might want to try. You should be patient as you stand in line – it is a community hub and there is usually a bit of catching up that goes into each order placed. Don’t worry, after you have gone a couple of mornings in a row, you too will become a regular and will need to catch up before ordering your morning coffee. Their food is made with all fresh local ingredients and is incredibly affordable. They are so committed to local food economies that they renovated the back half of the shop to serve as start up space for the new Goodside Grocery Food Coop of Sheboygan. And did I mention the music? There is live music many nights of the week. And good music… sometimes so good you can’t believe you are in a coffee shop in Sheboygan. Kate has developed relationships with musicians from across the country, many of who have such a love for Paradigm that it is the last small venue that they play. Kate also serves as an incredible resource for local musicians just starting out – connecting them with national touring musicians and giving them an opportunity to play in front of a live audience. I just saw Brown Bird at Paradigm the other night… Amazing. Make sure you check out their facebook page often to find out who is playing. The bands, like Brown Bird, are often booked just a couple of days before they appear as Kate catches them in between larger cities on their tour. Just go. You can’t go wrong with Paradigm. And I promise, if it is a busy day and you have to wait a bit for your freshly made sandwich or painstakingly crafted coffee creation, it will be worth it. Paradigm is like your own living room. Just sit back and relax a bit and enjoy local at its best.

The boyf and I were cycling through Sheboygan on the week-long 2011SAGBRAW and we were both delighted to find this truly five-star worthy coffee shop. Walking north on 8th St from the campus of UW-Sheboygan, we were almost sure that we had seen all the cool things there were to see on that road. Then we saw a chessboard on a large wooden table near the window and a welcoming sign on the sidewalk and we knew we hadn’t walked as far as we did in vain. Paradigm Coffee is the kind of coffee shop I wish existed in Decatur, GA, where I currently live – and don’t get me wrong, intown Atlanta has many a great coffee shop. But none as fabulous as this. First, the space is huge. HUGE. There is bar seating, couch seating, window seating, table seating, comfy chair seating: all generously spaced from each other. Second, this coffee shop is quiet. The music(well-selected indie favorites like Andrew Bird and Death Cab with some ragtime jazz alternating in – a fun mix) is soft and we could not overhear the voices of other folk. This is a place that is equally suitable for getting serious work done and for catching up with a friend. Third, the folks that work here seem to be great folk: good at their job, friendly in recommending items and explaining décor questions to newbies(we asked about all the bikes decorating the shop and the Wisconsin 14 poster [the boyf had thought the number of senators in question was 12]), and committed to the laudable goal of sustainable living. Fourth, they have yummy, affordable snacks. We shared a scrumptious double chocolate chip mint cookie. If Paradigm were located in my town, I’d most likely visit it every other day. Except for Mondays, when they are closed. A barista eloquently explains why on their blog website. Key point: everybody needs a day of rest, yo.
