Trail TOC Diner is superb! Bonnie’s pancakes are too die for, and her omelettes are as well! Definitely a place worth checking out!

Our senior van had a reservation for 10 at noon. Our table was set up and waiting — good start! The menu is varied, the server was non-plussed with the idea of separate checks(which she handed out with no errors!), all 10 were served at the same time, nobody was unhappy with their selection or the service. Servings are copious, you will not leave hungry. Bonnie’s Peanut Butter Apple Pie was a big hit(literally — it’s about 2.5″ high) and I took home a piece to share with my husband that night. He loved it! We’ll be going there again for sure!

So this tiny little diner doesnt look like a place where you’d find delicious food– the interior is a painful green with weird murals and it’s super tiny. But! What a lovely surprise! The food was fresh and delicious, nary a wilted salad green or greasey french fry to be found. Even our avacado was perfectly ripe. The staff was helpful and thoughtful, adding cucumber to our vegetarian sandwichs to increase deliciousness, and super fast as well. We went with three little ones and were *still* treated well. My only sadness is that its sorta far from my home. But we’ll be back!

My favorite items: ANYTHING topped in their white pepper gravy Home-made corned beef hash Any of their daily homemade muffins Breakfast sandwiches I am always made to feel welcome by the friendly owner and staff. It is the perfect cozy country diner!

The staff is top notch, no question. Everything is homemade, other than the bread and french fries according to the owner. Breakfast was good, other than the pancakes. Frozen blueberries, dense pancakes with an odd flavour. Sadly not a good replacement for the old Mohawk Diner they replaced.

The Trail TOC replaced the Mohawk Diner in the Mohawk Shops in fall 2010. It’s a great breakfast/lunch spot. The menu is not extensive, but there are daily specials, and everything is cooked to order behind the counter. Ingredients are fresh, good comfort food. It’s a bit pricey for a diner, and the walls are painted weird colors, but it’s a great local place for breakfast and lunch.
