Bread & Butter Farm

I’ve been here for burger night a few times now. It’s a great idea and a well run event. It’s a win/​win in that it draws a lot of people out to the farm, the farm seems to make a decent amount of money, and it is a fun time. It’s a great place for kids to run around while parents eat and listen to live music. There is a short kids activity between sets which is a preview of some kids sing along thing that happens at the farm. The farm owner is a little hokie but nice enough. Overall, I’m impressed with burger night for a variety of reasons but mostly because it is a good time.

Such rude people. Don’t visit the farm unless you want to be insulted and treated like a trespasser.

Such a wonderful little farm! I heard about them through a friend and decided to go and check them out for their Jersey Cow raw milk. I had been searching for a good source of cream and milk for my summer’s adventure of ice cream making and this place seemed to offer the best!
Aside from milk (which you have to be a member of the food club or milk club to purchase) they offer delicious naturally leavened breads, veggies, local meats, eggs and syrup.
We joined their food club, which so far was a wonderful decision. We receive weekly emails with the weeks offerings, place our order, and drive out to scenic Hinesburg 1 – 2 times a week to pick up our treats.
They also offer burger nights on Mondays and Fridays — a great local event with good food, and often times live music.
We feel so lucky to be a part of the food they are producing. The prices are a little high, but worth every penny. Similar to what you would experience at the farmer’s market or the local co-​op in town.
